Light and mellow with a sweet floral taste. Maybe too floral for me, but I sent this to a friend. Aside from the easy taste it is interesting to watch the leaves unfold and expand to fill the pot.

I liked the sample of this one well enough to order the larger size. The tea tastes good, smells good, and is visually pleasing in that the rolled leaves that you start with look like something entirely different by the time you're done.

The best oolong tea ever! It's fun to watch the leaves unfurl when you make it, and the taste is very unique.

Not one of my favorites, but not awful either. Nice go to tea for company.

Reminiscent of teas I've had in Chinese restaurant. Pleasantly floral without being overbearing. Extremely refreshing after-dinner tea.

This oolong was a bit too vegetal, more like a green tea. If you like green's though, you'd like this as it has a nice, light flavor.

This is a really nice tea. Flavorful and complex! I first had this tea at a teahouse in Brattleboro, VT and had been looking for some. They didn't serve Adagio, but I wasn't disappointed with the Adagio version. Don't overbrew or it gets really bitter.

I just could not get into this tea. it's not *bad*, but there's something about the flavor that just didn't agree with me. while most teas leave a pleasant aftertaste, this one just didn't.

Delicious tea. I enjoy a cup or it or the Oolong #8 every morning when I can. I would recommend it to anyone.

A nice oolong with pleasant flavors, not too 'earthy' or complex.

this was surprisingly amazing! It had a very full-bodied taste almost smokey almost earthy...it's very distinct.

I think this may be one of those teas that one must develope a taste for. It just dosn't taste like tea to me.

I wasn't sure about the smell of the leaves, but I found that this tea tasted a lot better than it smelled for some reason. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit-- it was a good tea to go with a meal.

A great way to get a flavor for different teas. Would recommend this sampler to anyone. All the samples had great flavor and body. Even my wife (a coffee freak) loved these teas.

My favorite tea so far! The aroma and flavor of this tea are delicious. It seems to have very subtle floral notes and a very complex flavor.

Good flavored tea, with a hint of a nut flavor to it. I prefer this tea slightly oversteeped (7-8 min).

I have to say this is the best ti kuan yin i have had so far. I will reorder again.

Just tried this lovely tea. It goes well with Chinese food and can be a good everyday tea.

This is a very nice ti kuan yin--clear liquor, mellow and sweet, slightly grassy but not overpowering. Suitable for serving guests.

I'm glad that I tried the sample of this rather than buying the larger size. Seemed to have a very strong roasted taste which I didn't particularly enjoy. I'm sensing that I may not like oolongs.

Moderately nutty and moderately floral, it's a well balanced taste of the earth.

My favorite Oolong tea. They should put this one in the sampler pack. Very smooth. Great tasting. Take the best of green and black tea and combine them and you will get this tea.

The 'Iron Goddess' is a wonderful cup of full-bodied tea. A good tea for coffee drinkers.

This is a light oolong that goes great with a clean rice dinner.

Not a complex oolong; disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this for someone who's never had oolong before because this type of tea really does have so much to offer and this particular Ti Kuan Yin is a true let-down.

This was the nastiest swill to ever cross my lips! THANK GOD it was only a sample I purchased. It didn't tast like tea to me. It was very pungent.

This tea has a great taste, and is very smooth. It quickly became one of my favorite teas available here. If you?re willing to spend the money, this is definitely a good purchase.

I was hoping for a lighter flavored oolong, like the opus pouchong, which I really like. This one may take some getting used to.

I have discovered that I am not an oolong person. If you like oolong this is not bad. It is just not what I expected. But it is a good tea for those that like oolong

I usually drink this tea in the a.m. in the office. This has a little floral flavor to it which I like. If you don't like floral flavor, you should avoid it.

A little stronger than I usually enjoy, but a good tea nonetheless. My tea taste is probably not quite sophisticated enough for this tea . . .

My favorite oolong. I will continue to buy 'the goddess' regularly. I always feel that it is a treat when I have cup in the morning.

One of the finest teas i've tried. Great hot or iced. I highly recommend you try this tea.

I bought my first yixing pot to drink this tea from. It is an absolute delight! Refreshing! The buttery & Jasmine flavors seem to be prominent when the tea is cold or at room temperature.

I can't believe I only got the 4 oz. This 'Iron Goddess of Mercy' tea was featured on the BBC not too long ago as one of the most prized types of tea among tea-drinkers and growers worldwide. HAve a cup and see why..it's so dense and robust...just an EXCELLENT cup of tea.

This is one of my favorite teas that I used to get from China. I suppose I still could, but it's much easier to order something that's such high quality from Adagio.

I guess this just wasn't my cup of tea. (pun intended...)

Although it was enjoyable (what tea isn't?), I still prefer other types of tea to this one.

What a dignified tea! It has an unimposing flavor that doesn't fade into the wallpaper. Delightful hot or iced. I frequently make this tea for afternoon guests.

I tasted tea with my neighbors from Korea and loved this oolong. It is complex and subtle. I will reorder this one too.

I served this tea at a party and they raved over it, oviously the crowd appreciated the great taste of this wonderful tea.

The ti kuan yin is a stronger oolong than I prefer. Stay with the oolong #18.

Very different taste from other Oolongs -- I did not like it at first. Somewhat herbal-tasting. By the time I had finished the sampler, it was one of my favorites!

Of teas with a somewhat floral note, the only one I really enjoy is ti kuanyin. I have had several varieties and they were all good. This one is excellent. It has an excellent aroma and delightful flavor.

My first expierence with Oolong and I'm wondering what took me so long. Not as subtle as I expected, yet delicate with a punch. Multiple infusions show layers to the flovor.
