Ooooh Darjeeling Customer Reviews

Very rare oolong from Singbulli Estate, Darjeeling, India. Muscat grape and apricot pit aroma (also the mark of fine Darjeeling black teas). Dried fruit flavor, lingering floral notes. A lesson in 'terroir': the place where the tea is grown.

First time for this tea and we loved it. I was not expecting such a fruity taste, but it blends well with a smooth Darjeeling flavor. I would order it again.

Great oolong, very straightforward. Good introduction to oolong and good for oolong fanatics.

★★★☆☆

I am not sure if I would purchase this tea again. It does have a smooth taste but I guess for me nothing special. I did add a bit of honey which did help.

★★★★★

Really delicious complex, rich stone fruit nose and taste. Balanced, rounded mouth feel, fruity, cherry pit finish. Will buy again.

★★★★★

This is my favorite tea to drink straight and hot. I didn’t even know darjeeling had an oolong variation, but this might be the best darjeeling ever.

I really love this one. Not overly bold, not overly earthly. Nice well balanced afternoon tea.

I liked this tea but thought it was a tiny bit bitter.

★★★★★

What can i say? It's a darjeeling which has a flavor of it's own.Excellent flavor!!!

I usually don't drink oolong tea, but this one is absolutely delicious. You can resteep 2-3 times and still get a great flavor.

★★★★★

I tried this tea after a friend recommended it, and was not disappointed! As someone who doesn t usually like Darjeeling, I am a big fan of this tea.

★★★★★

A classic flavor. I make this a special treat for me, usually on the weekend. Love it

★★★★☆

Delicious and delicate, but it does not stand up all that well to milk and sugar. I think I will prefer it with just sugar, and in the evening, when a lighter taste is better.

★★★★★

Gifted to a friend. He said it was absolutely amazing and he was able to re-steep about 6 or 7 times to get the most out of the sample packet.

★★★★★

A very refined tea with a floral perfumed bouquet.

★★★★★

I drink this tea often, it is very pleasing & full of flavor!

★★★★★

Never tasted a tea that went down as smooth and easy as this one! Highly recommend.

★★★★★

Darjeeling is a great black tea. Sometimes I feel like this particular tea tastes a bit fruity.

★★★★★

What a wonderful tea this was, the perfect cup of tea out of all the samples that I tried.

★★★★☆

I like the nice mild flavor of this tea, somewhere between a green tea and a black tea

★★★☆☆

A bit too much on the darker side, might be good for people looking for strong flavors!

★★★★★

This had a fruity scent and taste to it which I appreciated from an Oolong. Definitely getting again

★★★★☆

Very good Darjeeling! I like this one! I would get this again.

★★★★★

I have enjoyed this tea very much. Even though it is expensive, I am able to get 3 steeps out of the leaves. I feel that this makes up for the price.

★★★★★

I am starting to enjoy a good Darjeeling the more I drink it and this one is no exception. Has a great earthy flavor that pairs well with a sweet snack, at least for me. I admit, I didn't care for it the first time I tried it, but it's gradually becoming one of my favorite types of black teas.

★★★★☆

A nice, basic darjeeling tea for those looking for a black tea with a little flavor, but nothing overpowering. I found this to be a good tea, but there was nothing overly remarkable in its flavor.

A flavorful and pleasant tasting black tea, not too strong or weak.

★★★★★

This might well be the perfect darjeeling for my tastes.

★★★★★

One of my favorite teas! I thought this was a black tea for the longest time because of the flavor and the name. I read the description further and discovered it was oolong. This tea really demonstrates how versatile oolong can be.

★★★★☆

ok oolong tea; I expected more from Darjeeling teas but nice for everyday

Sooo good. Everytime I take a sip ooooh comes out of my mouth. I now know why they call it ooooh Darjeeling.

★★★★☆

Not sure I m a fan of Darjeeling, it s sweet and floral, this tea is also really creamy feeling. It s good but won t be a regular thing for me!

★★★★★

I have always liked Oolong and have also like Darjeeling this tea is a wonderful blend of both.
I don't always want a big bold tea, this tea is perfect for those times when I want a delicate flavor, Don't think delicate means bland - think wonderful, subtle, delightful.
I have sent this tea to several friends and they all love it.

★★★★★

Very smooth taste - just lovely for an afternoon tea. Definitely a bit underwhelming for someone who loves darker, flavorful teas but it does make for a nice relaxing cup!

This was almost like a black tea to me, except without the astringency. If you like black tea but want something more mild, this is a good tea for you. I'll definitely be trying it again.

Not much flavor by itself but I like to combine my teas so it goes well when mix with black teas.

★★★★★

Very smooth taste and it's not bitter at all. In fact, I accidentally seeped it 15 min and it was still wonderful. It definitely holds up to multiple infusions

★★★★★

A smooth and wonderful tasting tea. Definitely will buy again.

★★★★★

Wow! This tea is fantastic and absolutely a wonderful quality darjeeling. I had left my brew sitting in my travel thermos for over an hour and I thought certain it would be strong and have an after taste. I was very wrong! So smooth and zero after taste even after that long! I recommend if you are a fan of darjeeling.

This is a bold tea that is really good for sipping while reading a book.

★★★★★

I usually don't really care much for Darjeeling, but this one is pretty good.

★★★★☆

just a great staple oolong tea with nice clean flavor

★★★★☆

I was intrigued by the combo of a Darjeeling and oolong and it works so, so we'll!

As the product description says, this tea really shows the influence a geographic region has on the taste of tea. Ooooh is very different from other Oolongs. It's dark and strong, and tastes a bit like black Darjeelings, but not so tannic. Unique. I loved it!
