I had gotten this one for a friend and we had good time sharing it together, looking forward to trying more teas like it.
Very rare oolong from Singbulli Estate, Darjeeling, India. Muscat grape and apricot pit aroma (also the mark of fine Darjeeling black teas). Dried fruit flavor, lingering floral notes. A lesson in 'terroir': the place where the tea is grown.

This is excellent. Darjeeling but in oolong form.
This is the only oolong that I like. I have tried the sampler and other oolongs, and this one was a winner for me.
The leaves were all different in color, from green to dark brown. I found that odd, they ended up turning an even brown after brewing. Smells a little spicy, but still a little flowery also. Tea came out a nice honey color. The taste was ok. A little earthy, but not very with some spice taste at the end. Smooth, yet kind of unimpressive IMO. I got two brews and gave up, I probably could have gotten more. I find other oolongs nicer.
A lighter darjeeling which I enjoyed, but I prefer a darker darjeeling (like #2).
I got this on a whim, and I definitely had to re-order! It has such a great flavor, floral while still being a little stronger than most greens and whites.
This one has become one of my favorites! It's exactly what I hoped that it would be. It tastes distinctly like a Darjeeling while still tasting like an Oolong. It's a really smooth tea, that is versatile and can even be re-steeped (it looses some flavor after the first time). A unique tea that's worth every penny!
This is a light, fragrant darjeeling. I found even the first infusion to be just perfect without milk or sweetener. This is quite possibly one of the smoothest teas I've had lately.
First Steeping showed a pale brass with a light cast of orange. It has a strong spicy aroma with subltle herbal notes. Taste was sweet-ish with hints of spice and in the background is the grassieness that one would expect from a traditional black darjeeling. The flavor only became more refined with additional steepings, the 4th being the best in my opinion. This tea was phenomenal and I will definately be reordering.
I love this tea! It's a bit pricey so I only treat myself to it once in a while.
Loved this tea. Earthy and flavorful. Great afternoon cuppa.
This tea impressed me more than I thought it would. The dark roasted taste is attractive, like I can taste the actual air, it's fresh and makes me feel alive. No drawbacks here. I'll probably order the bag next time instead of the sampler.
I really like this tea a lot. It tastes like a darjeeling, but more sweet, like honey has been added. I normally don't like that kind of flavor but here it was something I enjoyed a lot.
Good nutty flavor coupled with a sweetness. Not my favorite oolong but definitely worth buying.
A nice balance between the black and the green teas.
What can I say other than . . . this is a marvelous tea. I am particularly fond of oolongs and teas from the Darjeeling. Thus, I had very high expectations for this tea and they were met, perhaps even exceeded. The slightly smokey/woody aroma awards the drinker of this full-flavored but not overwhelmind oolong. The aftertaste is light and lovely again without overwhelming the tastebuds nor overstaying its welcome.
This is a great tea to sip and relax with. Great flavor!
I know this seems to be popular , but i did not care for it. Seems weak in flavor to me no matter how much i use . This smell did not really appeal to me either
Oolong is one of my all-time favorites, and this didn't disappoint! If steeped too long, definitely gets too bitter.
A very aromatic oolong—I assume it's because this is also from Darjeeling. Smells a bit like cloves. Very smooth tea, like an oolong with a bit of spice to it. Anxious to see what happens when I resteep it.
Nice flavors w/ nice light sweetness. One of my current favorites w/ Ali Shan but both are a bit pricey. Really good 2nd and 3rd steeps too.
Pretty good! First time I brewed it, I neither had enough tea nor brewed it for long enough. But the second time worked out very well!
Great tea, flavorful, a bit fruity. It's pretty light, I would say closer to green than to black tea. Given the steep price, this is a tea one can keep for special ocasions.
As an oolong from india, a rarity in itself, this tea is worth trying. The brew is similar in flavor to darjeeling#2
Very nice tea, sent this to a family member who really liked it!
This one just did not do it for me. The smell reminded me a little of the earl grey bravo. But this oolong tasted a lot more like a black tea than a oolong. I'm not a huge fan of black teas so it's probably more of a preference than of this being a bad tea. Bought a sample and probably won't be buying again.
I forgot I hate this and ordered it a second time! OH NO WHY?!?!
I love this tea. It is very smooth. It gives you the best of both worlds--oolong and darjeeling.
Excellent tea. It does not taste as spicy as it smells, but it is still great.
Wonderful. Saved my day after far too much class, and will save yours too.
I love this, it tastes smooth and amazing, with a hint of natural sweet. The quality is obvious. This one is worth the money, it does not last long in my house!
LOOOOOOOVE this darjeeling tea, it just feels good to my soul from the first to last drink. The reddish brown hue of the brew is also pleasing.
A light flavor which sneaks up on you when you least expect it. In other words, a very refreshing tea.
A nice flavor, goes great in the morning or early afternoon.
Interesting and like most darjeelings it had a nice bite to it. nothing special though
had mixed feelings about this tea. It was bitter, but may have been overbrewed a little bit.
I was a bit diappointed with this one. It's rather bland: the lack of oxidation relative to its black cousins makes it flavorless.
Pretty good.. Tends to get real bitter if you brew it for more than a few minutes.
As an oolong meant to be enjoyed in multiple steeps, I wasn't overly impressed. I liked it much better when brewed as a black tea. The flavor was very similar to the Darjeeling #22, but a bit milder and less astringent.
A bit sharp for my tastes, but generally good, and pairs well with food.
The name says it all SERIOUSLY! Such a cliche' I know but when I first smelled and sipped this darjeeling the first thing I said was OOOOOH!
I never cared for the acidic tannins in black teas, and green teas were just a little too mild for me, so this oolong was a great medium. Bold, but not overly so. Definitely a favorite.
Ooooh darjeeling is an incredible tasy tea with a oolong dargeeling flavor.
I thought this was a really good tea and do recommend it.
I hope they keep this one forever - It's by far my favorite - it's not too heavy, not too mild - try it and you will love it!
An interesting cross between oolong and darjeelings.
The name says it all with this one. First it starts out like a darjeeling then ends up somewhere in the oolong range. It's a strange, but quite wonderful brew.
Great tasting tea especially after steeping it for the second and third time. I find the steeping time of 5 minutes a little too much for me.
surprisingly good. the 1st infusion is a little strong for my taste, but still very drinkable. GREAT for multiple infusions! i can easily get 7 out of just 1 teaspoon.
I preferred the Darjeeling #2, but this is a great teat to keep from overdosing on my favorites. It actually leaves my pallate feeling cleansed and ready for a new tea adventure.
