Nice flavor, brews up very smooth and I get several steeps out of it.
Very rare oolong from Singbulli Estate, Darjeeling, India. Muscat grape and apricot pit aroma (also the mark of fine Darjeeling black teas). Dried fruit flavor, lingering floral notes. A lesson in 'terroir': the place where the tea is grown.

Nice flavor, brews up very smooth and I get several steeps out of it.
Very interesting take on the darjeeling variety, which you rarely see as an oolong. Try it if you like darjeeling.
This was my first attempt at using loose tea. Thanks to those who posted a gram weight for usage, I think I got it right. VERY difficult to measure a tsp. Anyway, less than impressed with this tea as I found it very blah. Maybe I needed to use more than 2-3 grams?
Another sampler that I purchased. This has a nice kick for your morning tea. Would recumbent that you give this one a try!
Very interesting tea. I love both darjeeling and oolong, so I was excited to try a combination.
Excellent tea! Smooth, fruity flavor. Lingering floral undertones make a nice finish.
I like this tea okay. I might have liked it more if I hadn't of let it sit for a couple days (post brewing, of course.) I got some type of weird undertone in the taste. Something nutty perhaps? I wasn't a fan. I will brew this again and if my opinion changes I will update this review.
OH MY GOSH. What can I say? This oolong tea is perfect with just a dab of sugar in it but good unsweetened. Amazing black tea with a pleasantly earthy aroma.
This darjeeling is very light and earthy with out being bitter. It is very forgiving in steeping times. A very smooth, musical tea over all. One of my new faves!
Somehow mixes the deep flavor of a darjeeling and the lightness of an oolong together perfectly. I think I've been subconsciously saving my sample for rainy days because it's so good!
In its category (inexpensive), this black tea is so far my favorite. Actually, it is the only one I like. Good everyday tea. The others that I like are in the other price category. Could not unfortunately find anything not expensive still good, no other darjeelings, nothing. That's the one!
This is my favorite these days. I am partial to darjeeling and this is my favorite instance of it.
I must say this was a bit disappointing on its own. meek and mild with hardly any real flavor to speak of. It smells wonderful and muscatel but doesn't deliver. It's mixed into a blend of black teas and that is the best I can hope for it.
A wonderfully fragrant and rich true darjeeling tea. The taste of muscatel grapes is present but not overpowering. Delicious.
I could not detect the fruitiness unfortunately, but it may just be the purity of my water that is an issue. Still an enjoyable cup though.
A good darjeeling, but not very nuanced as oolongs go.
This is the perfect blend of Darjeeling and oolong flavors because, of course, that's what it is! Bright and fruity, with a soothing depth of flavor that is part smoky, part earthy, part mineral, but very light with juicy floral fruit. It's kind of like drinking an apricot that's been basking in sunlight on the window sill during late spring, where the breeze comes through and lofts the curtains and you can hear windchimes. (Whoa, poetic moment. Calm down there.) But seriously.. that's where my mind goes while drinking this. Which is a much needed moment of respite during Chicago-style winter.
My FAVORITE tea to brew, I've purchased it many times now and it's always consistently great. Tastes like a perfect tea, and my favorite over ice, as well.
Sweet, soothing, relaxing. Love it! My new favorite tea of all time.
I've never had darjeeling before, so I can't compare it to others, but I like it!
This was really, really good. One of my favorite oolongs.
When I first heard about this tea it was described to me as the champagne of the tea world, I was pretty disappointed when its tastes did not show this. It was kind of bland, no real distinction from your normal black tea.
I am not typically a darjeeling fan, but this tea is very unique. It has the rich quality of a darjeeling without the bitter edge that develops from many darjeeling brews when 'over' steeped. It's an elegant smooth tea, and probably the best darjeeling (for my palate) that I've ever had.
Very smooth, excellent drinking oolong. So far my favorite oolong I've tried by far. Re-steeps fairly well
A very tasty light oolong, which holds up well to at least 2 steepings (might try more later). I don't know about tangy, but there is a fruit flavor that comes through. This is easily a favorite.
I would honestly describe this tea as fruity and a bit smokey. It's lovely and smooth. I'm not terribly keen on oolong, but I adore darjeeling, and this is a brilliant tea. I would order it again.
If I could pick a rating between good and okay, that's where this tea would sit for me. Maybe I need to play around with my brewing but nothing jumped out at me. I did pickup some muscatel notes that are standard for a Darjeeling, but they were mild. Interestingly, it reminded me very much of the Formosa Oolong, but much more expensive. Hopefully with the rest of my sample I can coax out more of the complexity others are describing.
i love darjeeling tea and this one is doesn't fail to satisfy. ooooh so good.
My absolute favorite from adagio. I've tried tons of different oolongs, and this is hands down the best.
I've just recently started blending it with jasmine, and its become my go-to for nearly every afternoon after class.
Nice Darjeeling. That bitter-ish after taste I like in a Darjeeling is not as present - but if that's what you're looking for, try this tea. I won't get it again, but I'm not upset having purchased it.
A pretty nice tea. My only real problem with it is that it isn't great at handling multiple infusions. The difference between the first and second is pretty huge in my opinion. Other than that, it is a great creamy oolong, and definitely reflects the style that India is known for.
Reminds me of the slight molasses taste of irish breakfast, but VERY subtle. Also this is way more forgiving than IB. No astringency whatsoever. Not too mild. Actually just about perfect.
This tea is amazing! Its good for multiple steeps like most oolongs.
This tea is so good! Really delicate, smooth, and muscaty! It's the best oolong I've had.
This tea tastes like fall... It was good, but I think that I prefer Wuyi ensemble to this oolong.
A calming, neutral tea for someone who is looking for a cup to have with anything (or nothing!)
I love Oolong teas but adding the Darjeeling to it was a stroke of genius! I love the Adagio Tea Company!
I wasn't expecting this one to be as good as it was, but when I tried it at the tea tasting I went to it was definitely one of my top pics.
First oolong I've tried, and I'm hard-pressed to try another. Love it! I usually drink black, and I like my tea plain, so it's been hard for me to find the right one without it being bitter. For my tastes anyway. This one may just be the one!
A really awesome dark oolong. It has a fruity sweetness similar to raisins. Definitely reminds me of some of the best darjeelings I've had.
Citrus and slightly spicy flavours, can even describe as brisk, an unexpected surprise from India. Everyone should try this tea!
Pretty basic tea, bonus points that it is forgiving since oversteeping doesn't seem to make it bitter. I didn't get the fruitiness that other reviewers did. This was more of a clean, woodsy, strong, no nonsense cup of tea with a slight astringency at the end. I preferred it with milk.
This is my first experience with this tea and it was not my favorite. For now I will stick with black, green, herbal teas.
I wasn't as 'wow'd' by this one as i was hoping, but it is still terrific! it has everything in it you would expect from a darjeeling. however, its a little muted and much smoother. a very clean mouthfeel.
Didn't seem to have the same kind of flavor as other oolong teas. Not bad, just not what I was expecting. To me it was more like a mild black tea.
Oh my gosh. I love this. I never imagined being 'into' darjeeling but I DEFINITELY am.
This is absolutely amazing iced, very mellow flavor that seemed pretty forgiving of steep time.
A mild darjeeling. Can handle a longer steep. Mixes well with other flavors. I prefer bolder darjeelings.
For the oolong fan, this is a very mellow tea, with a good finish, and can be used in place of coffee in the mornings. :)
ooooh this tea. It's perfection. The flavor is balanced and round, a bit of natural sweetness, great iced or hot but I prefer hot
