Maple Creme Oolong Customer Reviews

I'm on a quest to find a couple of nice black teas, a couple of nice white teas, and the same for oolong, green, herbal and matcha blends for my tea cabinet to give me a nice assortment of caffeine levels and flavors from which to choose. This maple creme oolong, makes it into my first oolong slot. I am not a big maple syrup person but this maple flavor is subtle and delicate and the oolong variety, along with the flavoring, to which I also add 6 g. raw honey which is about 1/4 teaspoon, makes this a winner. I enjoy it both warm and iced. So it will be a year round go to oolong tea.

Tastes just like pancakes or waffles! Even better than I expected.

Wonderful aroma. It tastes like maple syrup without being too sweet. Great breakfast tea, or any time of the day!

This is a brilliant oolong with a savory, round, mapled-finish taste. Great for up to 3 infusions adding a minute to each infusion. It's one that I'll be buying in bulk.

OMG!!! My favorite. I work outside and in the winter when I get home, I love curling up in my blanket with a cup (or 3) of this tea.

Being a huge maple fan (it's my go to sweetner behind only honey), I went into this hoping for amazingness and was not disappointed. Amazing aroma upon opening and lovely subtle maple taste with a nice smooth oolong. I could take even more maple flavor but I'm also a freak. :-) Took the temp down for steep but I will try it again at full temp to see if more maple comes through. Yum!

Delightful breakfast tea! Would be great as a dessert tea after dinner. Smells sweet and decadent out of the package. It’s good without sweetener, but I bet it’s amazing with a little sugar. I see other reviewers recommend brewing at 200 instead of 212, which I will try next time. Brewing at 212 was just a touch bitter but still smooth and pleasant. I haven’t tried but I imagine I could get a second steeping out of this.

I'm just getting started with teas and this one is one of my favorites. Surprisingly sweet with no additives and easy to make for a rookie like me that doesn't yet have an easy way to control water temps very consistently.

If you enjoy maple, this is a delicious tea. I love the burnt oolong flavors in this tea. The maple comes through very nicely. Enjoyed with Sown Sweet and Creamy creamer

smells EXACTLY like a fresh stack of pancakes. i added some sweetener and cream to get the full experience and wow this was a delightful cup! i feel like it would be great alongside breakfast or dessert :) @adagioteas

I was looking for a good tea for fall and I came across this one. I really enjoy the warm, slightly sweet flavor that comes through in this, especially with a splash of milk.

This was kind of terrible. The “maple” flavor came through like a chemical aftertaste. The aroma was extremely unappetizing.

This oolong has the sweetness (but not overly sweet) of maple, and a creamy feel. I love it in the morning with some pancakes or a waffle, but it makes a great afternoon tea too. One of my favorites!

I really like this tasty tea, especially in late afternoon with a few drops of milk.

I have reordered this blend twice! I originally got it in the Advent Calendar for 2021 and I fell in love with it so much I broke my buying ban. This blend is a nice smooth, milky oolong with sweet maple and cozy spices. Perfect for a cozy night in.

great tea can really taste the maple flavor sweet but not too sweet.

I love Harney's New England Breakfast tea which is maple flavored. This Maple Creme Oolong is not near as good.

So sweet. Maple syrup and sweet cream are the primary flavors in this tea with a mild notes of oolong leaf and honey. This tea is perfect for anyone with a strong sweet tooth but is looking for a milder flavor then some of the other desert teas.

The smell of this is incredible. A less pronounced maple smell than what I was expecting, but nice notes of cinnamon without being over powering.
Very similar in flavor. The maple is more pronounced on the backend of the taste.

Wow. Overall, this Oolong is terrific. I have a 0 to 10 rating system. The Maple Creme Oolong I rated at 9.8, which according to my taste buds, I will soon order it again

Smells wonderful, though the maple flavor is not as strong as hoped. I find it a wonderful addition to coffee though and have been enjoying maple coffee!

Nice flavor, and improves with a little sweetener and milk.

Upon opening it, you can definitely smell the sweetness of the maple crème and it doesn’t disappear once prepared as well. Very balanced flavor as the oolong hits once the aroma sets @adagioteas

A very nice fall Oolong that is more oxidized so it is closer to a black than a green. Some light maple flavor that pokes it head out a bit, but is not overwhelming. I didn t taste much creme, but it was still a very nice sip. The depth of the oolong is still there and the maple adds some good notes, so 4 stars overall. @adagioteas

Such a treat- wish we ordered a larger quantity (will be re-ordering)! The smell is incredible- makes me salivate before we even brew it. Wonderful with shortbread, a blanket, and a good book.

So delicious! I honestly would not have thought to buy this tea had I not received a single serving sample. It smells delicious, tastes delicious, even when resteaped and chilled. It also pairs very well with some Jameson Irish whiskey.

Wonderful smell and a good maple aftertaste, adding some local made maple syrup is ideal.

As soon as I opened the bag, I was hit with super strong scent of the maple and CREME, it was too much. Overbearing smell. But once brewed, I didn't taste as much maple creme as I thought I would (which was a relief). Overall, pretty okay cup of tea, would be nice to drink while eating a scone or something sweet.

While the dried tea smelled nice, the Maple flavor wasn’t good. It actually had a bit of an herby flavor, like fenugreek, which overtook the flavors that otherwise may have made it better tasting.

This is my first time with an Oolong, it's good but I think rooibos is my preference. Edit: after a few cups, I got more flexible in my pallet, and now I love Oolong and want to try more flavors. Now this is my go-to tea when I want caffeine

First time trying an oolong tea and I am pleased with it. The flavor was awesome and I did and a little bit of sugar. I liked it, but I don’t know if I would buy again.

I was hesitant about this tea, but needlessly. The smooth, nutty oolong is a great complement to the maple, and the light spice flavors add balance and interest to the cup. Perfect addition to my autumnal tea rotation! The leaves easily hold a second steep. First steep, 4 minutes at 185; second steep, 8 minutes at 200.

A new seasonal favorite for me. It is very sweet so if you like sugar in your tea taste this one before adding more. A festive fall tea for sure, will be ordering more.

The maple smell is really strong (which is great), but the flavor isn't quite there unless you had sugar. Over all, a very nice tea though.

This tea is like those Maple leaf shaped cookies I loved as a child. Sweet, but not too sweet, and comfortable and full of good memories. Definitely a new favorite.

This is my new sweet treat go-to!

I was not disappointed by the strong maple flavor and creamy mouthfeel of this tea. However, I find the maple flavoring to taste ever so slightly artificial. Overall, still very good.
