Ahhhh... This lighter formosa oolong is fabulous. Has some similar flavor notes to Ali Shan and Ti Kuan Yin, but at a cheaper price. Love the subtle aftertaste.
One of my favorites - you can definitely get more than one steep out of the tea leaves. Lovely flavor, lovely aroma.

I fell in love with ali shan when I first tried it. Jade Oolong (#18) is very similar in color and taste, but for a fraction of the price. True, the leaves don't expand to the huge size of ali shan's but the actual beverage it makes is so similar, I can't justify paying for the ali anymore.
Bottom line: If you like ali shan, you will like this too, and your wallet will like you.
I am new to the oolong family but I really enjoyed the Jade Oolong from Adagio Teas.
Maybe bad timing, because I had started to like the dark oolongs. Jade oolong almost qualifies as a green tea.

this was my first oolong tea. very nice and relaxing. earthy and a deep (but not too strong) flavor. a good evolving point for testing different oolongs.

This tea is fantastic, thoroughly enjoyable. Resteeps wonderfully, has a great, light flavor, but can be steeped longer (for those who like stronger tea) without getting overly bitter.

I tried this tea one day on a whim (i got it as part of a sample kit, savant sampler, i think, back in the day). I was really surprised by how tasty it was! It was really robust, stood up to a few brews, and a bit like my favorite green teas growing up.
I would have LOVED to have try this tea, but it was out of stock when I ordered it.
Very refreshing. I like that it's not as bitter as a black tea and tastes better than a green tea.
Lovely vegetal oolong with very little astringency. Can be resteeped five times, with the third steep being the best.
This is a good blend between earthy and fruity. I'm not overly fond of it after the first brew, though. The Ooooh Darjeeling holds up much better on multiple brews.
If you are getting into the oolong game then #18 isn't a bad place to start. Doesn't blow my hair back like ali shan or ti kuan yin, but a serviceable drink. Let Jade Oolong take care of that oolong cherry.

I guess I'm not oolong type of person. I tried this one several times stepping it differently and every time the taste is kind plain with no character - just OK, IMO. I bought it based on positive reviews but I just can't get it myself. I would suggest boiling the water and then waiting couple of minutes to cool it off. 180 degrees will not get this tea to "open up." It's beautiful to look at, that's for sure :)
It's Oolong #18, the bastard child of the Adagio teas. Cheaper, lesser quality in many way and yet - it's a fantastic way to drink Oolong tea every day. Ti Kuan Yin is still my favorite, but Oolong #18 keeps my wallet and taste buds happy. Good for two steeps if you keep the first one light.
love this, a spicy tea that could be characterized as a cinnamon kick to the head with each sip. Could be better but haven't found anything comparable to the quality of this tea..
This is a fantastic tea. I would say it’s an Oolong with a lot of green tea qualities, but it is a lot richer than most greens. It brews a nice, golden cup. I steep it at a higher temperature than green or other oolongs, and for a longer time (more like most black teas). It has a rich sweet flavor and stands great on its own. Probably my favorite Oolong!
I loved this, but honestly couldn't taste much difference between this and the #8. I did love watching the leaves unfurl and expand, though, but will most likely stick with the #8 for the lower cost. I also found it was better at about 195 instead of 180.
I love this oolong tea, its very mild and pairs well with a little bit of jasmine green tea. A perfect drink to end a heavy meal!

This is a very bright and mild oolong, with many green notes. While I prefer Oolong #40 and Ooooh Darjeeling, I'm trying to transition into green teas, and this oolong will make an excellent bridge. Excellent for cold-brewing, very tasty.
This tea made me fall in love with Oolong. I love the aroma and the sweetness of this tea.
Oolong #18 has a pleasing appearance and sweet smell. I find that it does better steeped at a slightly higher temperature than suggested on the label and with a little more leaf. I sometimes get a good second steep depending on the length and temperature of the first steep. When I get it right, the tea has a deliciously complex series of flavors and nuances. When I don't, it lacks that complexity and is too light for my liking.
I would say this is my favorite green tea--I like to mix it with some genmai cha and a pinch of jasmine #5
