My favorite oolong thus far. Light and smooth, less smoky than a green tea, without that overpowering dark taste that comes with more heavily oxidized teas.
A favourite green/jade oolong of mine. Never disappoints. Full of flavour with a nice smooth finish. Never bitter.
I am a huge fan of Oolongs so I was excited to try this one. The initial color was a little lighter than I expected, but as is often the case, this was not reflected in the flavor. In the first infusion it seemed a little bright with a strong floral taste, but this mellowed with additional infusions to reveal a smooth, almost sweet flavor underneath. I brewed it a little hotter than recommended, but I think it worked well. I may try a longer infusion next time. Overall I'm pretty impressed with this and would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves Oolongs or even a Green fan who wants to try something new.
This oolong is excellent. Even if you oversteep it, it doesn't get overly bitter, but it's strong enough to not be boring. I've given it to people new to tea, and they like it too. This will become my go-to oolong.
I've been sampling the teas here at Adagio, and this is one of the best I've had so far. I'm new to this whole thing, so not sure if I can make a 'smart' review, but this has an interesting kind of sweetness, and is overall very unique.
Mneh. Not worth the price. It's ok. Delicate and little vegetal. Can get bitter if not watched. Don't get me wrong, it was good. Just not what I wanted for the higher cost.
I got this one as a sample, thinking it might be a bit floral. (I guess because jade makes me think of jasmine.) I don't like floral teas so I didn't expect to like this, but it's a lovely oolong without any perfumy taste.
This tea has a rich dark almost sweet green tea like flavor, it has a very clean mouth feel and has a great smokey aroma. I only use 1 tsp because the tea does increase in volume so if you are using a mug/infuser combination i would stick to 1 tsp so the tea has space to unfurl. this tea is also great for multiple infusions.
One of my new favorite teas. A must have staple in the tea pantry.
Almost indistinguishable from Ti Quan Yin in my opinion.
After exploring the world of different teas on adagio and hitting quite a few very floral teas, I came across this one. Buttery and smooth, it has slight hints of grassiness and sweetness without any unnecessary flowery acrobatics. Very straightforward.
Update: I am still missing this tea and cannot find comparable substitutes. Please, bring it back!
Update: The tea is back and I could not be happier. A quick comparison-check online shows that adagio offers the most competitive price on the market (in other words - the best deal). Stock up while it lasts! (and I surely will).
An excellent oolong. On the green side with a wonderful aroma.
Not my kind of flavor, a bit sickly, a little anise. I wouldn't recommend though maybe others will like it...
I really enjoyed this - I have been experimenting with new oolongs, and this one is very fresh tasting. I also love how economical it is, getting many infusions out of just a couple tablespoons!

This tea is amazingly smooth. It instantly relaxes me. What's even better about it is that it can be steeped up to 3 times with still phenomenal flavor. I love it.
This was one of many oolongs I tested to try and find the right one. This was mild and enjoyable but not something that I would want to drink all day.
I loved this! It tastes very similar to the Formosa Pouchong from the 'Masters' collection, but at a great price. A bright, sweet, very green oolong.
This was my first time ever trying an oolong, I got a sample before it ran out. Extremely flavorful, slightly fruity, very nutty. Almost a dessert like tea with how rich it is. LOVED it, I check every day to see if it's back in stock.

This tea is delicious. It has a pleasant and subtle and floral sweetness. As long as it's not steeped too long it comes out perfect and not bitter. I highly recommend this tea!
With all the hype I really was expecting a much better sample.

This is one of my favorite oolongs from Adagio. It's like green tea with flowers and honey, or somesuch tasty thing. It has a flavor to rival ti kuan yin.

This has a musky melon essence I don't care for in other oolongs, but it has a nice honey-sweetness and perfume-y quality to balance it out.
Jade oolong is excellent. It is as good as the Rush album Moving Pictures.
I LOVE this tea! It's complex, can be brewed multiple times, and is forgiving to overbrewing. One of my all-time favorites!
Somewhat lacking in taste to my palate. Nothing special. I wouldn't call it 'bad' though.
Halfway between green and oolong, this tea has floral and slightly 'twiggy' notes.

I liked this oolong, its a lighter oolong which i prefer, doesnt have the darker color and flavor of most of adagio's oolongs
Like this one a lot because, to me, it tastes reminiscent of tie kuan yin and ali shan, but at a much cheaper price. However, if you don't mind spending the extra cash the other two are far superior. Truth be told, I've bought ounces and ounces of those two, and have only had this one once. But it's good. You should at least give it a try.
Great oolong and one of my favorite teas. Just a bit of sugar and it's perfect.
This is one of my husband's favorites! And I find that I can steep it 4 times and still have a great cup of tea, with each cup being subtly different than the preceding one.
this is just not for me. it has a very green taste to it. i do recognize that the quality is GREAT. very smooth. just not for me.
I really like this tea. First of all, I'm easily amused and I love to watch the small balls of tea unfurl into big, beautiful leaves. I'll steep and resteep this tea just to watch the leaves get bigger because I find it that amusing. The taste of the tea is wonderful. The tea is light yellow in color and flavor is very light. To an extent, it reminds me of a lighter version of sencha.
