Smell was lovely when I opened the packet. Had a good tast plain but had a bit of a bitterness to it. So I added a bit of stevia to it and I could taste the difference. Not bad especially since I’m not fond of grapefruit. 🤗
The aroma in the packet is wonderful! The brew is nice, some grapefruit/citrus hints and a nice oolong. I might buy it.
It's a beautiful oolong, I just wish there was a little more grapefruit in the tea flavor.
What is there is wonderful, I just wish it was as strong as the aroma.

I do t hate it, but I don’t love it. I think it would make a great iced tea. The grapefruit scent is overpowering at first, but after steeping, it is a bit more mellow. Nice mouthfeel. If you love grapefruit, this one is for you.
I brewed at oolong temperature instead of the recommended temperature but it was surprisingly strong and hearty. Good grapefruit flavor, I liked it.

Excellent! This grapefruit oolong is much better than the grapefruit Ceylon. The clean, grapefruit flavor blends with the oolong for a bright, refreshing tea.

The Grapefruit Oolong is a great morning tea. The grapefruit scent is very strong, but the flavor is not overwhelming.
I sampled this tea as part of the August CommuniTEA. I absolutely love grapefruit. This tea has a nice punch of it on the nose. The flavors are a little more mellow than I expected but is a good cup regardless.
Not so much a fan of grapefruit, but this one was alright. If you like grapefruit, you'll probably like this one.
What a surprise! I do not like grapefruit and fully expected to detest this tea. Black tea is my favorite and the orange must cut the bitterness of the grapefruit. I would not buy this but would certainly drink it if served this tea.
I had tasted this tea in iced form and loved it - and the hot version is just as good! The light grapefruit flavor and scent really makes this special.

This tea was a surprise for me. It was the first time I tasted a grapefruit tea that I didn’t hate. It has a lovely smell, but usually grapefruit is just not a taste I like in a tea. It was pretty good hot and I think if I had it again I’d try it iced. This is why I like the CommuniTea-getting to try a tea that isn’t something I’d normally choose, but am happy that I tried.
In first steep I’m really enjoying this tea. Great grapefruit scent with a light grapefruit taste. Will add this to my wish list. Hoping for many extra steps as it’s an oolong.
I love unusual tea and this one doesn’t disappoint. Smelled a bit funky, but great grapefruit taste and smooth. Not sure if I will purchase only because it’s not a favorite flavor of mine, but if you enjoy grapefruit it’s definitely a win.
Overwhelming aroma of grapefruit when dry. Very subtle afterwards. A couple of sugar crystals needed to really enjoy.

The grapefruit flavor tastes like real grapefruit. That’s one of my favorite things about Adagio - the teas almost never taste fake.
Cold-brewed this in the fridge, 1tsp/8oz. I was able to enjoy a glass of it about 5 hours later.
The leaves stayed in, and I had the rest the next day (about 20 hrs later). The flavor did change over time, with the grapefruit being less prominent, otherwise having a slightly stronger overall flavor. However, I liked it from start to finish.
Good straight, or with a tiny splash of honey-water to smooth it out.

This tea was absolutely delicious. I blended it with an Earl Grey Oolong I purchased elsewhere and the flavors blended together amazingly! I'm sure you'd get similar results with most Earl Grey blends. I am, however, more used to Oolongs being more fully-leafed than in pieces such as this, as Oolongs usually are full-leafed and unfurl during brewing, which makes me wonder about the leaf quality and the whys behind it, but still a favorite tea nonetheless.
I randomly picked this one out while I was in store and I do not regret it. If you like black tea this tea is definitely worth giving a shot. It has just the right amount of grapefruit flavor. It tastes amazing as iced tea, I have yet to try it hot.

Wow is this ever a great tea! Awesome natural grapefruit flavor, not artificial tasting or bitter. I have it on its own or with the lemon Soleil or grapefruit black tea. It's a good morning citrus tea.
Didn’t care for this at all. Maybe I over steeped it at 3 mins but it was very bitter.
I can’t taste the grapefruit. It’s not a bad tasting tea, but it tastes like a plain oolong to me.
Hands down my favorite oolong to cold brew! It might seem like an odd flavor combination but it is light, crisp and totally refreshing.
Not sure grapefruit and oolong are the best mix but still a nice tea to drink.

So far I've used the grapefriut oolong blended with the citrus spearmint tea and enjoy the combination. The grapefruit tang is present as well as the earthy oolong using 1/3 of it in the blend .

This is my everyday go to tea. I buy this blend as teabags and can take it with me when I travel. Add honey and rock sugar for a deliciously smooth and mild grapefruit flavor.
Great oolong, you get an amazing grapefruit smell with the dry leaves, the tea itself is smooth as you would expect from an oolong and then bam the grapefruit on the back of your tongue with every sip! Greatness for anyone who loves grapefruit
The citrus tastes so fresh in this oolong. I savor the first smell as I open the container to the last drop.
I mostly get sample sizes from adagio. This is one of the few I've bought a larger size of. I've been buying from Adagio for years, so I've tried a LOT of teas, and this is definitely a favorite. It's light but still flavorful, and it's something I switch to after I've had my morning cup of black tea.
This is one of my favorite teas! It's great hot or iced. The grapefruit flavor is spot on and natural!
Update: We really enjoy this iced. I make sun-tea. If you are wondering...I use 1/3 cup of tea divided into 2 paper tea filters for a gallon sun tea jug.

It smelled delicious as soon as I opened the bag, which made me immediately think I would be disappointed in the flavor as there was no way it could live up to the smell. Surprisingly, I was not disappointed at all. While the taste was much more subtle than the smell, it has a lovely grapefruit flavor that is front and center, and is complimented well by the hints of orange rind. It was also just as good on the second steep.

This was my first time trying a fruit flavored tea and it is wonderful. Can't wait to try this as a cold tea.
