Not what I expected. Taste more like an orange hot drink than grapefruit. I personally would not buy it, took it as a free sample. If you like an orange taste hot drink, you might like this one.

I got this for my free sample from my last order. I don't normally like flavored teas but thought I would try this one as I love grapefruit. I was pleasantly surprised at the lightness of the grapefruit flavor. It didn't overpower the original oolong flavor.

This tea was better than I expected. The tea imparts a roasted flavor (not actually my favorite, but I thought it was done well), which the light flavor of grapefruit then brightens up. I think this was a refreshingly good choice for flavoring a relatively dark oolong. The second cup didn't have as strong of a citrus flavor, but was still quite good.
This is my favorite tea hot or cold. It has a slight hint of nice scent. Taste delicious with a little of honey.

This tea definitely grew on me, the grapefruit isn't as sweet as lemon, which makes it blend nicely with the oolong. I haven't had it sweetened, but on its own, it makes a pleasant brew with something that's just a little different from your traditional oolong

When opening the bag you get an amazing whiff of grapefruit. That does not change when this tea is brewed, just the perfect amount is there.

This tea has a very distinctive grapefruit smell. The oolong pairs nicely with the grapefruit flavor, neither or which is overwhelming. It does have a pleasant citrus taste. A great morning or calming night time tea.

First of all, this tea smells delicious- just like a fresh grapefruit! It also tastes just as good! I sometimes haven't liked oolong teas in the past, but I really enjoyed this one. A great fruity tea that isn't overpowering.

One of the best oolong teas that I've tried. When you open the bad a nice aroma of Grapefruit and Oranges comes out. The tea itself has hints of Grapefruit and is not overpowering like most teas with fruit added. I would buy this again!

Until I bought the Orchard Sampler a few months ago, I thought I hated grapefruit. Sadly, the black grapefruit isn't available on its own, but after I weaned myself off of black tea for caffeine reasons, I realized that the grapefruit oolong was a much better deal. I miss this tea every time I run out! I like to have it as my second cup of the day - not to wake me up initially, but to settle into the day and get nice and warm with a bit of citrus. It's lovely.

I had a feeling I would like this tea, but I didn't know how much I would love it! I was worried that the grapefruit might have tasted too artificial and overpowering, but to my delight I found that it was incredibly refreshing with no bitter aftertaste and pairs very well with the smooth oolong. I definitely recommend this tea to anyone, especially someone who is maybe new to oolong tea and wants to dip their toe's into something less traditional. UPDATE - DO NOT GET THE 16oz bag - this deal IS too good to be true. The grapefruit taste is lost after about a week or two. Buy in smaller ounces or in tins instead.
