This will be my first non-fandom inspired review, but this tea is so delectable I couldn't pass the opportunity to share my feedback. I'm not the biggest fan of grapefruit, but I do like the taste of it as flavored water and apparently, in Oolong tea form! It has a very smooth and rich texture that is super soothing and warm. I actually bought a sample mostly for my mom to try (because she's the real grapefruit lover) and she really loves it too. We share the sample together~
I can't believe that I love this tea! I was pretty terrified of it at first, especially when I opened the bag and was punched in the face by sharp grapefruit smell. I thought I would end up loving the vanilla oolong and hating the grapefruit one, but the opposite proved to be true. The smell tricks you into expecting the tea to be bitter or sour, but it isn't at all. So, I finally have a way to enjoy something grapefruity without subjecting myself to all the yuck of actually eating a grapefruit! I am bewildered but in love with this tea.
I love the fruityness of this oolong, especially blended with blood orange herbal tea!
I love this tea. I'm staring at the screen, trying to justify buying a pound of it. It's definitely an afternoon tea for me. lighter than my morning brew, bright, zesty and awakening. Honestly, though? It might be even better on the second brew. I do my first for three minutes, pour it off , and immediately start the second. I might stop it after five minutes, or I might let it steep until I finish my first cup. I especially love the second brew, iced. The flavor is so summery.
This was a nice black tea. The flavor was strong but all along great.
Honestly, this just wasn't very good. The flavors of the grapefruit and the oolong tea just didn't meld well together. Luckily I only bought a sampler of it

The oolong flavor is subtle and mellow while the tangy grapefruit definitely comes to the forefront of this tea. The tartness of the grapefruit pops right out at the first sip and mellows, allowing the natural flavor of the tea to gently glide across the tongue. The flavors are bright and crisp up front followed by a delightfully mellow wash afterwards. I find this tea to be a wonderful 'wake up' tea first thing in the morning. A second brew comes on a bit lighter than the initial brew but the grapefruit still comes across very well and doesn't get lost.
A lovely little tea. I added a pinch of sugar to set off the flavor. I love grapefruit and it adds a very nice depth to the oolong.

I honestly bought this tea on an adventurous whim—I wanted an oolong, but am a sucker for fruity teas, so I took a chance on the grapefruit oolong. The gamble paid off—this is one nice tea. The oolong is top quality, and the grapefruit flavor isn't too overpowering once brewed. It balances really well. Glad I took a chance on this tea!

Grapefruit oolong is delicious. The oolong is very smooth and mellow and the grapefruit not too overpowering. Nice tea when you don't want too much fruit flavor. Goes well with meals. Will definitely be ordering again!

I have been drinking this tea in the morning to help with my metabolism. It has a light citrus flavor and smells amazing. Even my 4 year old daughter loves it. This is a staple tea in my house.
As soon as you open the bag, you smell that grapefruit. My husband really loves this tea. It has a very strong grapefruit smell, and it has a light, almost Earl Grey like flavor when steeped. He has, also, gotten about four steeps from every cup, so good value for good tea.

Smells amazing. This tea is much better as is than sweetened. I felt like even just the few amber sugar crystal I added wiped out the grapefruit flavor.

This was a nice summer tea. It was light and fresh - I iced it, and with the citrus in it, didn't even need added lemon.
After opening the sample sizes pouch the smell alone told me I'd be being more. Perfect blend of tart grapefruit with the earthen oolong. I cold brewed it for 12 hours for a perfect refreshing treat.
I'm not a fan of this one... There is a grapefruit taste that is slightly there but as an oolong fan, I don't like just the hint of it, either be super grapefruit-y or just be a plain oolong.

I love grapefruit, and I love tea, so I had to try the grapefruit oolong. You do get a little bit of that graprefruit/citrus taste and smell, but without the bitterness.
This tea smells wonderful! It's funny, I can't really eat grapefruit because it's usually so bitter, but I've always liked the smell. This tea captures the fresh smell of grapefruit without the bitterness. I like it hot but it would be good iced as well.
