The first oolong I’ve ever had that I can say I truly love (though this particular one does look pretty...ahem...questionable in the clear jar that I have put it in 😂). The leaves unfurl gloriously and the flavor is light. A touch of sugar smooths it out wonderfully if it has steeped too long!

Same as any other basic green tea, does the job and tastes as expected.

Have enjoyed this tea many times in the past but the recent batch purchased was lacking aroma and flavor.

This tea surely lives up to its name because it really bloomed when steeped! It also brewed into a really gently golden color. In the pouch the smell wasn't anything eventful but when brewed it has a light floral scent. When sipping on it, it has a soft floral flavor, and very smooth mouthfeel. I brewed my cup for three minutes and it has no astringency at all, just a completely smooth and delightful cup of tea. I feel that this is best enjoyed when brewed using the gong fu method as I feel this tea can stand up to a lot of steeps. But I'm satisfied with my cup for now, I'll have more tomorrow, but it's the perfect accompaniment to my study session! Highly recommend! :)

This is my first oolong I've tried, and really enjoy it. It's got a distinct taste that is very smooth.

this tea was such a disappointment, and I soooo wanted to 'like' it. There was an residual taste I couldn't identify...thinking it might be the water...I tried various: distilled, bottled, filtered, etc...all with the same result...not a fan.

★★★★☆

Tastes similar to hojicha. Enjoyable and recommended.

Has a nice, balanced flavor. It tastes a bit like a milder Milk Oolong. I definitely love Milk Oolong and some of the stronger oolong/pouchong teas more than this, but the price of this tea means that I don't really have to restrain myself from drinking it too often.

Absolutely amazing! This tea is very calming, has just the right hint of sweetness, and tastes great with honey!

This is a smoothly flavored oolong that stands well on its own. Very aromatic with no bitter notes.

This is a delicate, earth-tinged oolong, in between green and dark. I recommend drinking it outside on a warm autumn day.

Sweet and creamy with mild floral notes (not jasmine), this golden hued liquor matches its' name. While it is fun to watch the curled leaves unfurl for the first cup, the second and third steeping taste just as delicious.

A very good, delicate, creamy oolong. Just as good on the second steeping as the first.

Not my favorite. I think it's more me than the tea--think I'm just not a big fan of oolongs. I do taste the honeysuckle. It's a little too flowery for my liking. I did enjoy watching the leaves unfurl.

Rolled oolong are so pretty, seen it unfold as it releases a heart-warming smell. The flavor is everything that was promised, floral sweet and creamy, so flavorful it's incredible it is a straight pure tea.
A second cups (steeped for 4') still delivers all the flavor notes with an extra touch on the floral side and less creaminess.

I just tried this head to head against the more expensive 'fujian ti kuan yin' and both myself and my gf preferred this oolong! Golden flower is going to be a staple in my tea collection, we both absolutely love it. Smooth, toasted oolong - really can't go wrong. Easy to drink every day.

My new go-to afternoon treat, when I really need a pick-me-up. I like strong teas, but go easy on the steeping - three minutes is plenty. Re-steeps well.

I have only made one potful of Golden Flower but it is delicious and has plenty of honeysuckle flavor which is what I bought it for, I love honeysuckle nectar. My Golden Flower tea got lost in my other teas and I forgot about it and went rummaging through my teas and came across it surprising me as I had forgotten I had it, so I will likely make some more pretty soon. I have no way to control my hot water temperature, so all my teas steep at 212*F and falling.

So delicate and delicious. I put a bag in my thermos with boiling water and drink it after I get to work. Even with the bag in so long, it doesn’t get too strong.

This isn’t a bad tea but not particularly memorable either. I find it a little bland and forgettable

I always loved how Ti Kuanyin had these huge, impressive leaves that look like a salad, and this gives me that effect for a much lower price. It looks amazing in a gaiwan. Beautiful floral taste too, get this one for a little gift you drop on a friend who wants to get into more tea and hasn t really experienced the joy of hand-rolled leaves yet. I know if I found this when I was first getting into tea, I would be filled with joy and wonder.

More please! I just received my sample yesterday and brewed some for our Sunday morning tea. Both my husband and I enjoyed this oolong immensely. Floral and smooth. Not overly floral, however, just a delicate hint with no astringency or grassiness. Lovely golden tea. I am glad I have a gram scale as this tea is dense and it doesn't take as much volume wise as some teas to get a hearty cup. I used 2.5 grams per 8 ounces of water. I have put it on my list to order.

I purchased this when the TiKuanYin was on backorder. I brew a quart of green oolong daily and chill for iced tea. This was not as flavorful as my favorite TiKuanYin, but did have a light pleasant flavor. It was crisp and more floral than grassy. It stood up to 2 steepings not 3. I would consider purchasing this again, but I still prefer the TiKuanYin or AliShan for a green oolong tea.

I really enjoy this one. Tend to be more of a black tea drinker than green in general but this is great for sipping in the afternoon. The flavor has this wholesomeness that is hard to describe. Will definitely buy again.

This might be the first time I've struggled to describe the flavor of a tea. I can't quite put my finger on what it is I'm tasting, but it is golden, smooth, creamy, and delicious. I don't know what kind of sorcery this is, but it is delectable.

This is my first oolong. It’s light on the stomach as I drank it shortly after breakfast. Also, it’s definitely a floral tea but nothing about this tea is super bold or overpowering. This was a great change for somebody who’s only drank blacks.

Excellent oolong with a smooth full flavor. I make a pot in the morning, have a cup at temperature and put the rest in the fridge for an iced tea treat.

Basic all-around oolong. Some oolongs are a bit pricey for me to keep stocked so this is a good go to. Not as complex as many others in its price range, in my opinion

This is literally the best teas that I have ever tasted and I am thinking it was worth it being a little more expensive than the previous brand I usually purchase online. I was delightfully surprised at how BIG the leaves are after unfurling - I was a little skeptical about the little tsp I put into my infuser but they rolled out to be beautiful tea leaves. The flavor is just amazing and reminded me how much I truly enjoy drinking plain green tea and I am pretty sure I'll be ordering this again in the future.
I think I steeped it a little too long (I get distracted while working) but it still came out great and not too bitter. I think I'll try a second steep as the first cup was quite strong.

Decided to give this a try because it's cheap and it ended up being better than many more expensive oolongs I've tried. Holds up well to multiple infusions.

Reminiscent of Jade Oolong, this one has a lovely but not overpowering floral quality. The green oolongs tend to be my favorites, and this one is at the top of the list.

I ve discovered that I love cold brewing oolongs. I used up some old jade oolong, and picked this as a cheaper replacement. It s just as good in my opinion! I steeped it overnight in the fridge and strained it out, added a little honey, lime juice, and mint. Perfect for the summer.

Of all the teas I've had from Adagio, this is my daily drinker. It works equally well cold or hot, is extremely robust in terms of over or understeeping, and generally just works no matter how sloppily I brew it. It's always good, which is baffling considering that it's one of the cheapest teas on offer.

Lovely, forward floral notes when you bring the cup or glass to your face, backed by a very slightly astringent and extremely mild grassiness. Follows through with a lovely backbone of delicately oxidized earthiness.

It's my favorite tea that Adagio sells, for sure.
