This is my go-to daily drinker. I enjoy the slight toasted notes and earthy flavor.

A good everyday tea. Nothing special about this tea. Subtle grassy/earthy notes. I bought a whole bunch because it’s cheap and I like the flavor.

I detected a mild nut and fruit taste, reminding me of straw and grass. Those who like Kuan Yin and Ali Shan probably will enjoy it. For a second infusion, brew longer than three minutes.

This is a fine oolong and I like oolongs generally, but nothing particularly special IMO.

A very high quality tea. Has a nice flavor and little to no bitterness on the end. Has a nice flowery aftertaste as the name would imply.

I bought this because the oolong goddess wasn't available. It has more of the 'dirty socks' flavor i associate with oolongs. But the floral aroma is nice. I added cream.

This one was nice. Had a light, delicate flavor that had a sweetness at the finish. I enjoyed that there was little to no bitterness at the end, like some can have. Good sipping tea.

Really incredible flavor. So delicate and floral and smooth. It's like drinking a warm spring day in a flower garden.

Update: I continue to get pound after pound of this. My absolute go to best all around tea.

This tastes exactly like the tea you get at Chinese restaurants. I've been looking for a tea like this forever and finally found it! Love it so much

Smooth flavor that's not over powering. It's not bad but I don't taste the hits of flavor described. It has started to grow on me the more I drink it.

This oolong took me for a ride! I ve tried it for the first time this morning & found it to be an incredibly complex sip. Each surprised me with its depth & sweetness. The silky, almost milk like aftertaste is definitely noticeable. I tried it with half a teaspoon of sourwood honey, which I ended up being very grateful for. I think if I had done it with any other, except maybe Tupelo, it would ve overpowered the tea. @adagioteas

One of my new favorite teas! So sweet and floral and light, every sip feels like a varied experience. Seriously recommend this to any green tea or jasmine tea fans who are looking for something new.

Nice gong fu brewed or western brewed, so long as the temp isn't too hot! A little nutty.

This tea has a very delicate flavor. i like it by itself or mixed with other herbals . I'm not a savvy tea drinker yet so I don't notice the difference between green and this oolong. This one tastes like a mild slightly floral green tea to me without the grassy-ness of some greens. I do brew it like a green so maybe that helps too.

I'm not an expert on oolong, but I have always enjoyed them. This one, however, really took me by surprise. The flavor was far less earthy than I've come to expect, and was instead slightly floral. Hints of what could be likened to a white tea hiding behind the bold overtones of what is still distinctly oolong. This tea is richly complex, but still soft and relaxingly drinkable.

I really like this oolong. It has a nice grassy, almost skunky scent... almost like oui'd but in a really good way. Great for multiple steeps as well. The rolled leaves unfurl to be quite large so make sure you have a big enough steeper! Great with cream and sugar.

This rolled oolong is so beautiful to watch unfurl as it steeps. Definitely get multiple steeps out of these gorgeous leaves. The flavor is creamy with delicate floral notes. This is one of my favorite Adagio oolong teas. Sip, sip away!

At first, the flavor seemed very light. Upon another sip, the tea felt smooth and creamy in the mouth. The flavor also seemed to linger in the mouth long after swallowed with a subtle smokiness. Steeped twice. Very delicious.

I'd like to give this tea 4.5 stars. It was quite enjoyable gong fu style. I think it smells 'tan'/gently toasted as well as floral even though it is green in color and lightly oxidized. I don't find it to smell like honeysuckle so it must be an osmanthus fragrance I detect. (Tough to say-- never knowingly smelled osmanthus in real life!) The multi-steeped open leaves were relatively large since they had been rolled initially. This oolong was lovely albeit different from the Adagio's Taiwanese pouchongs I've enjoyed previously. Those seemed far more fragrantly floral to me.

Golden flower lives up to its name in that it does make a fairly golden-colored brew, and I like the oolong-y (for lack of a better descriptor) flavor of it, but it's not a super strong oolong-y flavor. The tea survives several steepings pretty well, which is handy for me as I tend to re-steep throughout the day at work, and is well-priced to be an everyday sort of tea.

Very bitter tea. Recommend steeping for a minute less than recommended on site to keep from becoming too bitter @adagioteas

★★★☆☆

This is not a bad tea, but I honestly wasn’t very impressed with it either. The flavor is a bit too light for me, no matter how I try to steep it I’m always left feeling as though I’m drinking a slightly watered down tea. Not one I would actively seek out.

While my favorite tea is out of stock till early spring, i am trying samples of Oolong and White teas. I am really enjoying Golden Flower. While I definitely catch that honeysuckle smell after steeping, I don't taste it which is nice. Loving this tea. I am loving the creaminess of this tea after steeping at 195 for the full 3 minutes. No bitterness and no strong smokiness. Great tea if you are eating a salty breakfast. Eating something sweet, may mask the wonderful taste of this tea. It is very gentle, more so than other Oolongs that I have tasted and enjoyed.
