This tea has a lovely golden liquor, however, the flavor falls a little flat. I was careful about brewing time and temperature, but it was still kind of bitter when it was hot. After it cooled down a few degrees, it did get better. Still not my favorite oolong, but it s a good option for when I don t want to buy a really expensive one.

Great introduction to Oolong tea. The second and third steep have more flavor than the first so be sure to steep more than once before judging the taste for yourself.

This tea is fantastic - a delicate oolong tea with a pale amber color and a fragrance that is really pleasing.

A very mature floral taste. Somewhat buttery and a fair bit sweet as an oolong, and reminiscent of some green teas. Very good for an occasional dabble. Not exactly for everyday use, but delicious nonetheless.

Every tea I've tried from Adagio always has me saying 'Wow this is my new favorite tea!' and I'm right, they're all my favorites but Golden Flower stands out to me the most. It smells amazing and it's (in my opinion) the best tea for occasional drinkers.

I'm currently sipping a cup of Golden Flower and struggling to describe it. I love how the leaves slowly unfurled; looking at my tea strainer now I can easily brew another cup or two before the leaves are fully open, which is nice compared to my other oolongs that aren't rolled like this is. The flavor is different from other general oolongs I've had over the years (perhaps smoother, a bit more 'green' maybe?), yet at the same time it tastes uncannily like the memory of the first oolong I ever had a decade ago at a small restaurant in Mitsuwa. I'll definitely be reordering this when my sample runs out, or picking it up at one of the Chicago stores if it's in stock.

This is a nice, light oolong, with a delicate sort of floral honey taste. There s nothing particularly startling or complex about it. It has a pleasant aroma, and a good flavor (albeit a tad unenthusiastic for lack of a better term), but I prefer the more vibrant ti kuan yin over this one.

A little flowery, but not overpoweringly so. Nice for a change of pace from my usual teas.

I don't even know where to start...This tea is incredible, it is most likely the best tea I have ever drank in my entire life, if you like oolong's on the lighter side than this is going to be a real treat. Careful not to brew to hot and I steep a little longer than recommended. This leaf will yield a very floral smooth almost sweet flavor, its excellent for anytime of the day and I highly recommend this to anyone, whether your a seasoned oolong veteran or are saying 'what's an oolong' as your reading this.

The description had me at osmanthus and Fujian region, I love this sweet and gentle oolong. It is mild but a wonderful daily tea and can be infused at least 3 times. Excellent tea for such a low price.

Has an almost jasmine smell to it. Not all that complex of a flavor, but it does what it does well and it is amazing for the price

Aptly named- this is very floral smelling and tasting. It's mild and floral and smooth tasting. The smell is floral- and though I sensed a bit of astringency in the scent of the tea- there is none when drinking. It's pleasant and smooth, and I got 2 good steeps out of it. I would've preferred a bit more sweetness to blend with the floral taste- instead of just straight flowers- which is why I gave this a 4 instead of a 5. I would purchase this again.

Wonderful oolong. Slight grassy smell upon opening (which I love) and a very mild taste. Slightly earthy, slightly floral, and incredibly beautiful.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but every time I brew it , it's week and kinda mild?

Very floral and sweet, almost as though it were scented with jasmine or osmanthus. For a light oolong the 'green' aspect is very subtle, which in my opinion improves the overall flavor, and it has a fuller body than other teas of this type.

Smooth and light oolong - especially for the price! Good for 3-4 steeps (I do 185, 185, 195, 200). Delicious, slightly more on the vegetal side than I was expecting, but certainly not grassy.
