I love my pure teas. This is such a nice delicate taste that gives off the same taste as how gold flowers smell. It's sweet with a slight savory hiding underneath but through and through pleasant. Not too bold in taste like black teas but not as fragile as green teas. This is a perfect pure tea

This is a delicious tea with all the right hints and balance of floral notes, a freshness that reminds me of white tea, and the usual oolong notes. It is less strong than some other oolongs which is enjoyable for me.

The smell of this tea is lovely. Floral, reminds me of jasmine. However, the taste is was very light at first and became a bit perfumey as it sat. But then, I don't love floral tastes. This tea was worth it to me because the smell is so nice.

Mysterious looking compressed dark green tea leaves were noted in my communiTEA packet this morning. They was getting fidgety in anticipation of unfurling in my steeper!

I added 30 seconds to my planned first steep time in order to awaken the tea. I’ve never seen compressed tea unfurl so fast ... they just exploded! What a wonderful process it was! At the end of second steep, I could hardly see the water in my steeper because of all the heavy-duty tea leaf crowding going on. Since this was an unflavored tea, I decided to use my Yixing clay mug dedicated for oolongs.

When hot, fragrant floral aromas were noted. Smooth and green straw flavors were mild.

When warm, sweet and lightly roasted grain flavors were noted. Mild mineral tastes were noted on the palate. Butter flavors were mild.

This oolong was a well-rounded, smooth, and mellow liquor with a silky mouthfeel. There was a lingering sweet floral finish. Overall, it was a very mild and delicate oolong ... an orchid in the cup! (1st steep: 3 mins 30 secs/Subsequent steeps: 2 mins 30 secs @ 200ºF, no additions)

This one smelled lovely but just kind of tasted like hot water to me. I personally didn't really get any flavor out of it. That said, I did really enjoy the effervescent mouthfeel.

08/04/2020: This one was tricky for me to get right, if steeped a couple seconds too long it was bitter and too short tasted like slightly flowery hot water. It is definitely very floral so if you're wanting a light flowery tea it would be worth trying. To me it was just a little thin and too one-note, but I may have to order another sample to try different brewing techniques.

CommuniTEA update: This tea has grown on me the more I've tried it. My favorite way to prepare is in a gaiwan at 180°F for about 2-3 minutes. It's light, fresh, and floral without being too overpowering or perfumey.

Beautiful soft oolong which is almost a cross between green and white tea. Reminds me of spring on this cold winter day.

Hints of spring are seen; on the darkest winter days; in a cup of tea. (Haiku reviews)

A beautiful oolong from start to finish. The large leaves unfurl so beautifully in the infuser. The color of the tea is a clear pale green and the taste is oolong with a hint of spring. Terrific way to start the day.

I love how the leaves soaked up the water and unfurled. The taste of this tea was a very mild toasted flavor. 190° 3 min.

My single steep pack wasn’t packing a lot of flavor. It tasted like mildly toasted and was easy to drink. I was hoping to get more crisp apple and floral notes.

Delicious floral oolong. I’ve brewed it gong-fu style through about ten cups, (the cups became smaller as the whole tea leaves unfurled) and it’s still going. It has an aroma I’ve come to associate with good jasmine tea, although it’s not as in-your-face strong as those other florals. Great flavor, great lasting power.

Lovely curled leaves (smelling of grass) roll joyfully out of the CommuniTea packet into the large infuser, barely covering the bottom. I have learned to use good spring water for my teas, especially the oolongs. As the hot water (180ºF) pours over the leaves, they unfurl and spread their arms wide filling up the entire infuser. They create a light gold colored tea that is gentle and mildly sweet tasting of florals. This is a great tasting tea that has such a refreshingly clean finish it reminds me of the wet, clean air of spring. With such a delicate flavor, and almost zero astringency, this can be drunk by anyone, at any time. (multiple steeps: 3 mins @ 180ºF).

I really find this sort of tea to be boring. I much prefer chai or dessert flavored teas, so this was not at all for me.

Wonderful tea! I love the clean taste. It is fantastic in it’s simplicity!

★★★★★

Perfect tea to have every so often. I think that the flavors really come through. It is best when not steeped too long or the flavor is ruined.

I liked brewing this on in my gaiwan. I would repurchase.

Good, but mediocre. Wasn’t as good as I expected. Very mild floral.

Standard simple oolong. Light with a mild floral undertone. Nice, but not a standout 3.5.

Love it! Not overpoweringly floral which is a risk floral teas can take. So lovely with a hint of honey. Makes for great multiple re steeps. Do not oversteep if you want this though! A delicate and soft flavor. I think this is a crowd pleaser and tastes like a spring morning. I would re purchase.

A very mild tea. Slightly floral. Reminds me of a very light green or jasmine. Wouldn't buy again.

★★★★★

strong and delicious! i use this tea as a base for fruity add-ins.

★★★★★

A solid oolong with a slight, floral aroma and flavor. Brews well several times with evolving flavors as it cools.

This has become my favorite 'go-to' oolong

Great bright tea, has a kind of grassy flavor to it.

Terrible. I can only explain the aroma as "poop." It smelled like a dirty diaper. Very disappointed.

I've never been more disappointed in a tea that I've purchased. I bought it based on the description and rave reviews expecting a nice floral tea with little bitterness. What I taste is a distinctly mineral tasting tea that can't be made palatable to me. I've tried, believe me. I also get very little of the floral fragrance that was why I took a chance on it. Your mileage may differ, of course, but keep this in mind and buy a sample first.
I much prefer your Jade Oolong tea, which is delicious even after five steeps.

★★★★★

Nice and floral without being overpowering. Each cup brings forth something new!

★★★★☆

I love greener oolongs (this tea included) but have been keeping the less expensive Golden Flower oolong around as an everyday iced tea. To me, this wasn’t a standout for the difference in price. I’d either spend more or less.

★★★★★

A Light and delightful tea. Very good flavors, a wonderful tea.

Soft, floral, creamy, subtle. Not floral as in nectar or pollen, but more deep like the leaves of a big fragrant flower like hyacinth or indeed orchid. Not in an artificial or perfume way as flowery can sometimes be. Very nice I must say. Has a calming quality. The second steep gave more of a faint sweet blue grape flavor, a bit like Nordes Gin if you’re familiar. Was a bit hesitant to steep at the recommended 100c but figured it must be fine. It didn’t make the tea bitter or tannic. Steeped 4 times. 5 grams @ 6 ounces

This green tea is simple but solid, easy to get right and a nice start to the day. Not the most tasty cup ever but great on the nose and a reliable tea for sure

Present, impressive, but not over powering floral notes (actually smells like some orchids I've grown!), moderate body. A comforting, undemanding cup of tea.

Earthy notes to the fragrance, and an almost 'forest floor' notes to the flavor.

Delicious. Very delicate flavors. Steep on a slightly lower temperature to bring out the delicate aromas without burning the tea

It s good, but very perfumey and floral. If that s what you are looking for, then this is the tea for you. It steps well and smells amazing.

I have become a spoiled brat drinking Adagio's milk oolong. This oolong is a fine budget oolong, but I rather spend a bit more and love my cup of tea.

★★★☆☆

Nothing special about this, except not worth the price. Ordinary oolong.

★★★★★

I love the flavor in this tea. Its so simple, almost taking you back to the original roots of where tea came from, one cup at a time.

This reminded me of golden flower s floral notes but the tannins of a black tea. Steeped the leaves several times over with good results.
