I'm not a fan of this one (but I don't like oolong!)
A darker oolong tea from Taiwan, formerly known as Formosa (which means 'Beautiful'). Deep raisiny and ripe fruit aroma, autumn 'leafy' note. The lingering flavor and smooth, refreshingly fruity astringency and a lovely introduction to Taiwanese tea.

I'm not a fan of this one (but I don't like oolong!)
I enjoyed this oolong. I ended up using more tea and brewing it longer to get the taste I wanted.
Not as great as some of the higher numbered oolongs (#40), but still very good.
love it. Received it previously with the sampler and just bought the largest quantity. i can usually get at least 3-4 good pots out of a batch.
This is a great basic oolong tea. Very delicious!
This is the stout to Ti Kuan Yin's lager, the patchouli to its peach. There are no floral or fruity notes here
It had too much of an earthy taste. I didn't end up liking it.
Formosa Oolong is another interesting tea. The aroma right off the bat is not that appealing. However, when you get to drinking it that all changes. The flavor of this oolong is very earthy, and quite uplifting. I'd recommend drinking it with a matching food for better results. Because, all of the flavors just pop out of this tea when you do!
If you're into Oolongs, be sure to try the Formosa #8.
Standard oolong tea, the one nice thing I find about is, it holds its flavour over multiple steeps better then most others.
A nice smooth oolong. For someone who has never tried oolong I'm glad I listened to the reviews and tasted a sample.
The smell of this tea turned most off in my house. It was like pulling teeth. But once they were able to get past the scent, they loved it. I thought it had a nice soft flavor that reminded me of coffee in a sense.
This oolong is a bit darker than most yet a bit lighter tasting. It has a smooth taste but it is not very complex.
Good light-flavored oolong, with a fresh Srping-flowers after taste. Worth trying!
I'm not a huge fan of oolong, but this one is pretty good especially for the price.
Very nice, strong texture. Best served plain, for those appreciate tea.
A very enjoyable dark oolong that is lighter and does not have any clear roasted notes. Overall a smooth rich taste that is slightly earthy and woodsy and at a very cheap price for oolong that does not equate low quality in this case even as a gaiwan brewer when it comes to oolongs.
I have tried many teas since finding this web site and so far this is my favorite. I love it.
My sons favorite. He enjoys this tea in the evening.
While Im not a tea expert this does represent a good oolong. The price is right too.
This tea tasted like taiwan, very good almost grassy taste
This is pretty tasty. Tasted very much like what's served at our favorite Chinese food restaurant locally. Mellow, just a bit of smoke to it.
this is a nice, smooth oolong. i'm re-ordering this one for the third time.
I guess I'm just not a fan of Oolong teas. It reminded me too much of Chinese restaurants. Although it wasn't bad and I enjoyed it, I didn't think there was anything special.
This tea was great tasting. It was the perfect tea to have before bed.
This Oolong tea is very subtle and has a lovely taste. It's mild, soothing and has no bitter aftertaste like some low-quality oolong teas.
This tea was okay, but definitely not my favorite. That said, I did enjoy it, but I probably won't buy it again.
A very floral oolong. The flavor reminds me of Rooibos, it is oxidized a bit more than most oolongs though you couldn’t tell by the taste, its not one bit malty or strong. Brews to a dark red.
This is my first tea from Adagio that was just okay. Perhaps I was spoiled by Oolong #40, but for the price I figured I would try it out. Not bad, but it didn't have the nice rounded flavor I associate with an roasted, amber oolong. In fact, there were some greener leaves in the mix as well so that lent it a greener and more woodsy flavor. Perhaps it will make a better iced tea as another reviewer pointed out. Good for 3 infusions, the 4th was a bit weak.
This tea is pretty good, but not as great at #40. Still, it's a nice tea. I like to have it in the evenings.
First Oolong that I have ever tried, and I think it's at least as good as many of the plain Black teas that I have tried. I will definitely need to try more Oolong tea.
While the smell in the bag was fairly bitter and unpleasant, this tea actually made a wonderful cold-brewed iced tea. It tastes very similar to a traditional black tea. The tea itself has many sticks and fewer leaves, but they didn't seem to hamper the strength of the cold-brewing.
A nice, inexpensive, roasted oolong. I love roasted green tea (such as hojicha), so I was pleasantly surprised by the aroma and flavor of this tea. I suppose I had been expecting something akin to a plain oolong like those served in Chinese-American eateries. It's good for a couple of infusions as well.
Smooth, refreshing, woodsy, very good tea. Not as good as Oolong #40, but the cheaper price makes this tea worth every penny.
Very toasty, much like "golden monkey"; not very astringent, but very little other than toasty. Would be good blended with a caramely Assam.
very nice. i guess i would say that there is a woody characteristic that is interesting and very pleasant.
A great tea, just not quite to my taste. Great for someone that likes a strong flavored tea though.
This is a pretty good oolong. An everyday type of tea.
I love this tea because it tastes exactly like the tea I would get from my local Chinese food joint growing up. Not terribly exciting but smooth, a little smokey and easy to drink!
This tea is very flavorful and reasonably priced. A good introduction to oolongs.
This is a tea that I tasted at a restaurant on time. It's good, but not like Irish Breakfast!
This is a good, solid tea embodying everything I want in expect from a basic oolong. I could drink this every day easily.
Not my absolute favorite, I tend to prefer balled oolongs, but definitely a great every-day tea for the price. I will definitely order this again!
A good tea with a nice nutty, smokey twist to the flavor.
My favorite oolong that I have tried thus far. Excellent flavor.
An excellent oolong! It has a rich, roasted flavor, just what I had hoped for in this kind of dark oolong.
I decided to try this one because it was the least expensive oolong I could find on the site, and I love it! It has a very mild, but delicious flavor. And it's very forgiving...I accidently let it steep for about 8 minutes once, and it was still delicious, not harsh or bitter at all.
A nice floral oolong flavor. Haven't tried #18 or #40, so I cannot compare them, but this one is a good choice for the price.
I tried this because I can't really afford to get the wonderfull oolong #40 all the time. This tea isn't quite as good, but it is a great bargain alternative.
My first oolong and I must say, I really enjoyed it! Definitely convinced me to try more oolongs.
It's ok.. the taste is a bit harsh for me, but it's a solid oolong.
