A local Chinese restaurant serves oolong, and I've always liked it, so I thought I'd try this. It is exactly what I was expecting. Bit of a smoky flavor, which I like, though the rest of my family won't drink it. More for me!
A darker oolong tea from Taiwan, formerly known as Formosa (which means 'Beautiful'). Deep raisiny and ripe fruit aroma, autumn 'leafy' note. The lingering flavor and smooth, refreshingly fruity astringency and a lovely introduction to Taiwanese tea.

This oolong brews dark red and has a slightly fruity aroma. It had an almost 'earthy' flavor and was very enjoyable. Great tea for a great price!
Fantastic, fantastic tea. I was not expecting it at all. I was having a hard time deciding which oolong tea i would like best and decided to choose at random and I have not regretted it. This tea also makes a great iced tea.
This is my favorite oolong of all. I mix with just a little bit of honey to make it very slightly sweet, and I can drink a large cup in no time. Ordered the amber sugar crystals to try out... I hear they are really good.
I do find it's a little easy to overbrew (I have a bad habit of leaving any kind of tea to seep for 5-10 minutes), so it often ended up too strong. Wishing the leaves were a little larger, too. If someone else bought it for me, I'd accept it with pride, but I probably won't be getting this again for myself.
This tea wasn't particularly good. The flavor is a bit bland and unmemorable.
Not my favorite kind of tea, but it's got a good taste
A nice oolong but wish the leaves were larger. Nice flavor.
This tea is unique to my palette. I've considered reordering a few times however, you need to be in the mood for it. It doesn't quite sit as a standard daily drinker and instead, shines as a way to break up the every day tea consumption. As a person who normally drinks straight tea without blends (jasmine being the only one) the flavor and aftertaste remind me of a flavored tea. For the price, it's well worth a try. Don't expect many infusions as the taste of the tea changes drastically.
This tea tastes great and is wonderfully inexpensive, I drink this everyday and it has become one of my favorites.
I was surprised by this tea! Considering the price and the appearance, I tricked myself into thinking I wouldn't like it as much as other darker oolongs, but it's actually very tasty! For me, I noticed a distinct toasted sesame character on the first infusion, so if you enjoy that flavor, this would be a good tea to try. Will try multiple infusions later!
Has a great taste. Mixes well with other teas and is great as a cold mix.
This was really dark and tasted like black tea to me. The flavor was so overpowering, my husband couldn't even finish his cup. Glad I only bought a sample of this.
Very smooth oolong but kind of boring, perhaps even a bit bland. Be careful not to oversteep, I accidentally steeped it 5 minutes and it was undrinkable.
This has to be my most favorite tea of all time. I personally feel it has a coffee after-taste. Which I like. Super flavorful and delicious. I would definitely purchase this tea again.
I've ordered this three times, the first time as part of a sampler, the second time in the tin, then the third time in the big bag. I enjoy this tea daily!
This is really good. Its not a strong as some other oolongs, but the flavor is really nice. I can usually steep it at least 3 times.
My favorite tea! yeah, some people say it's your standard Chinese restaurant tea, but I love it! I drink it iced, and I'll brew a large batch for the weekend - the 3rd day it's just as fresh as the first! Very good!
Very reminiscent of the tea that is often served in Chinese restaurants. A little smoky but it is still very smooth.
A good daily drinking tea. Not too strong, but steep according to the directions for best results.
One of my favorites. I love the stronger smokey taste. Holds up well through 3 infusions.
A nice, rich, woody flavor--perfect for a regular morning cup of tea...or two or three.
Very much enjoyed this oolong...very smoky with flavors like the woods after a fall rain...love it...
Not the most pleasant smell but the taste is very good - reminds me of the tea they serve at Chinese restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised and the price is great.
One of my favorite teas. I make it by the pitcher-full for iced tea. It requires no sweetening and has a mild caffeine boost.
This is my first experience with loose leaf tea, and all I can say is 'Wow!' So very smooth!
This tea has a nice toasty flavor, but it is a bit flat. For me it would need a hint of bitterness or some contrasting note to become a great tea.
Good for the price. It is a bit too toasty for me. I am looking for one that is smoother.
Amazing as always. The best of any Oolong teas I've ever tried.
This is my first oolong tea from Adagio. I figured I would try it out. Not bad, but it didn't have the nice rounded flavor I associate with an roasted, amber oolong. It was good for 3 infusions, the 4th was a bit weak.
This is a fine every day tea, clean and refreshing.
I like the taste of this oolong
I'm just a fruity tea kind of girl. This one is a little too earthy for me, but isn't bad.
I can't decide if I like this or not, but then I'm also new to oolong.
This tea was fine, but not something I would drink all of the time. I may just may not be a fan of an oolong flavor as much as others. Still a decent tea.
Decent oolong, still good though. Fruity taste I'd gobwith dancong instead
Good general purpose oolong for a fine price. I like having it around to sip on all day on my days off.
A basic oolong, very satisfying. I like it with a little sweetness.
Formosa oolong, more like formosa 'toolong,' as in too long a time went by before I had this delicious leafy tea! I also recommend drying the leaves out after steeping, they make for a wonderful salad!
Delicious Iced! My SO praises its 'Kettled Brewed' flavor. She is fo' real southern, so she would know.
It's a very mild and soft oolong compared to the Ooooh Darjeeling or Chinese oolongs. This is good for 2 maybe 3 steeps, which is nice.
This is a nice darker oolong. It makes a perfect blending tea.
A delicious darker oolong, not too rustic. Can be enjoyed everyday, great price.
Absolutely wonderful. It is a great oolong tea. Not too intense. If you are an oolong fan, this tea is great for you!
So far my all time favorite. Not for every taste but I love the deep flavors and 'real' tea flavors i get form this one.
Great flavor! Reminds me of the excellent oolong tea at my favorite Chinese restaurant. Just the thing for a cold day!
An excellent, every day tea, cold or hot, and very reasonable in price.
Great flavor. I'm usually more of a fan of roast-y oolongs but I love the earthiness of this tea.
Not a bad oolong for beginners, Delicious but do take note that this tea doesn't re-steep well.
Simple, mellow, brown flavors. It is a little to simple by itself. But it is a great mixer: put some in Earl Grey, brew it with a single tea bag of something fruity, spiced or chocolate.
