This is fabulous! I received it along with the activiTEA portable tea infuser. I love them both. I found that since it was necessary to fill the infuser to the top for the water to reach the tea, I found that rather than over fill the infuser, I just flipped the infuser over on its lid, the water and tea blended and I had a wonder tea to go!
The formosa pouchong comes in slightly twisted leaves that unfurl and steep with very little tea breakage, making a filter with a Yixing teapot optional. When hot water is poured, the leaves smells like orchids, out-of-this-world! The liquid is very pale. The second steeping is the most flavorful, sweet and floral, and the tea seems to take up to three steepings well without losing flavor.
This has become one of my favorite teas, especially for an afternoon break from the day. It is aromatic, smooth, yet soft. I highly recomend it.
This has that special 'veggie' taste that I personally like in a green tea but it's mild. I need to try using the leaves again and getting a second steeping out of them. I think this tea could hold up to that.
Used 3 grams and steeped with 195 degree water for 3 minutes using 6oz of water. This tea is very aromatic and has a lovely floral sweetness and a crisp finish. Very nice! Not sure whether I like this or fujian ti kuan yin better. Both are GREAT!
This is a great tea with very smooth flavors, not at all bitter or astringent. There is a cooling sensation at the end almost like there is a hint of peppermint mixed in. The tea can be on the weak side so be sure to use a generous amount when brewing.
Fantastic jade oolong! This is my favourtie type of tea by far, and one of the best jade oolongs I have had. Waiting for it to be back in stock so I can order more!

Delicious. Beautiful. Just amazing. Colour is lighter than some oolongs, but the taste is just amazing. As some other reviewers have mentioned, rebrews are great. Keep rebrewing it until the flavour runs out, the last cup will still be delicious.

This Oolong has one of the best aromas of any teas I've tried. The complex floral aroma translates to your taste buds seamlessly. It is one of those teas that tastes exactly like it smells, and by god does it smell good. Since this brew is rather light, I recommend steeping for 3 minutes at 195F. As far as the price, it is worth the extra versus the standard version, and comes in a great tin. I break this out for tea newcomers and they think it's sublime. Convert your friends!
I experienced difficulty with finding a green Oolong Tea with a consistently pleasing flavor until I ordered a sample of this tea. If the price were more economical, this would be one of my tea cupboard staples.

I'm new to loose leaf teas, and bought this sample on a whim after reading all the positive feedback. Though my first brewed cup of it was disastrous (I did something wrong), my second was wonderful! This tea is the current reason I'm back on this website.

This is a great light tea, and like a lot of the reviews here state, it would be a great tea to sip and relax with in the afternoon. Initially it has a mild grassy flavor, and then it leaves a pleasant floral taste in you mouth after swallowing. I will definitely get this again. I could drink this daily, but because of its price, I'll probably limit it to once or twice a week.
This is hands-down my favorite tea. It smells like lilacs and tastes like springtime.
Really really good. Mildy floral, a little sweet, and with a bit of... saltiness is how I would descibe it. The overall effect is smooth and round, soft- very satisfying. Good for 3 steepings. I will certainly buy this again!

Not my favorite but still like it a lot and very drinkable. The flavor is light which is why I couldn't rate it the highest because I like more flavor but very good for relaxing. If you're a heavy tea drinker throw a sampler of this in the mix and try it out in your rotation. If you're just looking for one tea to drink over and over you may want to look elsewhere.
This is quite good tea, but I truly feel that it was not worth the price tag. I do not recommend purely on a price-to-performance standard.
My favorite of the green tea variety. Subtle floral overtones and just a hint of earthy sweetness. Slightly pricy, however worth it! Good for at least 3 steepings per teaspoon.
I'm not a tea expert. I like oolong and have tried most that Adagio and Teavana have to offer. Before trying the Formosa Pouchong, my favorite was the Formosa Bai Hao (#40). The Formosa Pouchong is sooo much better than that, though. The flavor is strong, the floral undertones are not overpowering, and I get up to 4 steepings a day. This is an amazing delightful tea that I would highly recommend.

My new favorite tea from adagio, very nice flavor, I was worried because the color was very weak when I brewed it but it was deceiving. Tastes a little like Ali Shan only with less of a spicy finish and more of a vegetal one.
As a fan of Pouchong Oolong tea, I was delighted to have tried this 'Master's Collection' alternative. While the flavor is not very far from the original, it's very smooth, and steeps two to three times without very much loss of flavor at all.
