This is a nice oolong tea. It’s light and smooth. I think it’s the perfect tea to have when enjoying a large meal because, at least for me, it helps with digestion.

This is what tea dreams are made of! The depth and balance of flavor is perfect. I extremely love the way the fruitiness, floral and earthy tones all come together in this one.

I loved this oolong so much. It was just amazing. I was surprised by this as normally I only tend to like oolong in blends. Will be getting this again for sure.

Smooth and a bit woody. I typically gravitate towards Adagio's blended teas, but this one stands on its own really well. Just a bit of sugar is all I would add.

A very pleasant oolong. Not too flowery, but extremely smooth, no bitterness or tannins at all (I brewed just below 200 degrees for just over 2 minutes). It didn't change my world, but as 'tea that tastes like tea' goes, this one does it very well, without any of the unpleasantly astringent notes.

Not always an oolong person but this one is very good. Light pleasant jasmine flavor.

I thought this oolong was good, but not great. I enjoyed 3 full steeps which retained their flavor throughout. I steeped at 190 degrees for 3 minutes the first steep and 2 minutes for subsequent cups. I added nothing.

I can't smell anything from the dry tea leaves, I'm a bit congested. 2 min @ 165. I think I'm missing out on the flavors because I only get a light black tea. Not bad, but I think I'll have to try it another time. I still prefer green oolongs.

I'm a sucker for a good oolong and this is no exception.

I sampled from the CommuniTEA (July box). Tastes more like a black tea than an oolong to me.This is a good oolong. I find that it has a bit more of a bit of a fruity taste.I sampled this tea again as part of the CommuniTea December 2023 box.

I usually like oolong teas but this one was very astringent and I got nothing of what was in the description. Maybe it'll come around again and it will taste better next time as I've had this happen before. Just not for me at present.

This is a heavier, malty oolong with some floral notes.

Fruity floral and like a raisin spice flavor. Still has the mineral taste of an oolong. I can understand why it's special.

This is a bright oolong I could probably steep more infusions than the two times I did. It kept its body fairly well. The aroma is very woodsy dry in pack which carries over to brew. I personally rinse my oolongs once or twice for 20 seconds to pull out some of caffeine and open the leaves a bit. It doesn’t really need it if you’re doing multiple infusions, but I wanted to experience some of the further flavors I miss out on when restricting myself on caf beverages. I find a citrusy fruity woody flavor developed for me. No bitterness. Didn’t need any touching up.

Love this oolong! It's smooth, earthy, a bit sweet, and absolutely delicious. And I was able to get multiple steeps.

Oolong's are in my top list of tea faves and this one is just delicious. I tried it both with and without cream and both ways were fabulous. Such a yummy cuppa!

The aroma of this tea is intoxicating, with notes of peach blossoms, honey, and spice. The brewed cup is a symphony of sweetness and fruitiness, with a delicate warm spicy undertone that lingers on the palate. This tea is perfect for multiple infusions, as each one reveals more nuances and depth. This is an exquisite, elegant and sophisticated tea.

It is a nice cup of tea and absent the description, I would have given it a 5. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the description for me. I was expecting a more dynamic cup or tea like many other oolongs. This was somewhat flat for me; the second brew was far better than the first, but neither was as dynamic as I was expecting.

This tea was so smooth and flavorful I think this is a close 3rd in my books. I steeped at 195° and for 2 minutes I think it came out great!

Wonderful oolong tea! Beautiful white tipped leaves in my Communitea sample. Smooth, rich, and a hint of sweetness made this a beautiful cup!

This was suuuuuch a nice cup. The buttery mouthfeel was gorgeous, the balance of fruit and subtle floral was intriguing, and it was actually a little sweet! Just the right level of astringency, too - definitely not so much that the tea required doctoring, but it's friendly enough to complement cream and sweetener if you want it. I really like the flavour profile of this one. It's probably the best oolong I've ever had. Steeped 3 min @ 195ª.

No other tea compares! This oolong is absolutely superb. Omg! It's enticingly smooth with a bit of earthiness and honey spreading joy inside my cup. If that isn't enough, I taste a floral component playing tag with walnuts. If you are going to spend the money for a superior oolong, this is the one. Liquid velvet!

A much less finicky tea than its fancy counterpart. Brew as directed. Produces incredible, honey-peach scented clouds of aroma above the cup, tastes so sweet adding sugar would be a crime, and resteeps incredibly. If considering, you will not regret this.

A far more refined version of the oolongs I grew up drinking in Oriental restaurants. Pairs well with sweeteners if desired.

This Eastern Beauty is nice, but it loses its flavor quickly. For the price, this is an interesting intro to bug-bitten tea, but if you've had other varieties this one is a little flat.

Fruity, smooth, balanced, natural sweetness. There isn't a lot of things that jump out at me with this tea. The scent is balanced and smooth, the taste is balanced and smooth. It's good, but not for me. I like a little more character. I'm going to try a second infusion and see how it changes.
Edit: the second steep has a bit more character, maybe a little hint of date? It definitely still has flavor, but all in all I find the tea too even and it gives it a watery profile for both first and second steep. Still not for me. (Second steep 4min at 195)

After steep, I was greeted with a golden chestnut color cup of tea and I now understand why it is called the Champagne of oolongs. Smooth buttery taste, sip it slowly and enjoy. Well worth the price and one of the best oolongs I've had. Added a tiny bit of honey to enhance... so good. A new fave!

This is by far my favorite tea. I have tasted better from other sources but you cannot beat this oolong for a delicious, every day drinker. I can get 2-3 steeps and it is such a smooth, naturally sweetened oolong with hints of nectar, honey, and some type of stone fruit, maybe apricot? I didn't find any bugs in the tea or see any bites on the leaves but those bugs certainly make the leaves taste sweet! A+++ and 5 gold stars for this tea.

Great oolong flavor with a malty tone. Very slightly astringent. Brews a crystal clear tea. Excellent for multiple infusions gong fu style.

I made my Formosa Bai Hao hot with some burdock and manuka honey. It's a very simple and smooth tea and the honey added just the right amount of sweetness to it. I think this tea will also be good for experimenting with. I would highly recommend this tea!

A soft, mild, somewhat sweet oolong. This would go great with any type of baked goods.
For my daily drinking though, this just didn't have enough flavor to stand on its own.
