Wonderful tea. I love the light cherry almond flavor.

I'm not a big fan of Oolong tea, but since I love cherry and almond flavors, expecially together, I thought I would give it a try. Neither flavor stood out for me, and it was a little too tart for my taste, but overall it is a good tea and I will have no trouble finishing what I purchased.

My favorite. Sweet cherry taste. Makes a great iced tea

I was quite excited when this tea was released; however, after tasting it a few times, I've been a little disappointed because the tart cherry significantly overpowered any richness brought by the almond marzipan.

This is good, but I didn't like this as much as I wanted to. It may have been how I was steeping it, but the cherry aspect started to remind me of cough syrup.

To me this tea has an artificial smell and taste. I think it is trying to give a subtle cherry and almond flavor, but I do not get either cherry or almond. I am not sure I will spend any time trying sweeteners or milk with the rest of my sample.

I was very excited to try this one. I love, love the almond oolong and thought this would be even better. Not so much..

Really delightful. This was one of last year's Advent Tea Calendar teas, and I enjoyed it enough to order it when it became available. The rose is a bit too strong for me to want to drink this frequently, but there are dark, rainy days when this tea is just right.

Dessert in a cup, lovely cherry almond. Nice with a splash of milk.

The flavor of marzipan is one of my favorites and in this tea, it has been blended with the sweet flavor of cherries. Delicious!

It was nice. You could taste the almonds but I wish the cherry was a bit more apparent in this tea. Overall, taste like a almond flavored oolong tea.

I bought this just to test it. I get the cherry and a touch of almond flavor, but I blended it with milk and sugar. I think I ll brew it stronger on the next try, without milk and sugar and see how it goes. @adagioteas

The initial smell out-of-the bag and the brewed tea have notes of cherry and almonds, which is expected. However, the almond notes are overpowered by the taste of cinnamon. While the cherry notes shine through, it does not work with the cinnamon notes. The tea is fine, but can be improved with more focus on almonds rather than cinnamon.

Wow, this tea is exactly what I was looking for! The cherry and marzipan flavors really come through in a smooth balanced blend. Works great for a second steeping.

Really liked the cherry and almond flavors together, and the oolong gives it a nice caffeine kick.

This smelled lovely, like maraschino cherries. It tasted like cough syrup and dish soap! Awful! Don't waste your money like I did.

On the fence about this one. Only had one cup so far and I think I over-brewed it. Was a little bitter. Going to try again.

Like many cherry teas, it had kind of a cough medicine flavor.

A bit too up front with the marzipan for my tastes, but an excellent dessert tea when paired with milk and honey!

Sort of a strange combination overall, but still nice when I m feeling for something a little different. I wouldn t suggest this to an oolong beginner, the cherry marzipan flavor can be a bit off-putting.

Definitely a very sweet tea. I get the combo of cherry/fruity flavor with the nutty almond- but think it just has a bit too much of the artificial flavoring for me since it leaves me with a slightly unpleasant aftertaste.

Just delightful. I steep it a bit longer to really bring out the flavor.

Unsweetened it is very smooth and the flavoring is very subtle reminding me of springtime. Adding sugar brought this to a whole new experience! Cherry and almond flavors shown through and is very delish! Then adding milk to that yet again entirely changes the taste to an almond pastry with slight cherry drizzle. Absolutely love!

My favorite - and that's saying a lot! A perfect blend for any weather, tastes as good as it smells.

I don t taste the oolong as much but the tea is jammy and fruity. The cherry flavor is subdued and not too cough syrupy like the cherry black tea. It makes a great iced tea

SO GOOD. Warm, nutty, fruity. I have bought this multiple times now. Love the almond flavor, very true to the marzipan name.

Not a bad tea. It just was not to my personal taste. I’m picky about cherry so I knew it was a gamble. Too cough syrup for me.

The first thing to hit me when I opened the package is how strongly this smells of cherries, with a hint of oolong and cinnamon underneath. Once brewed, the cherry scent fell off, and the oolong scent came through stronger. The flavor itself is a pleasant cherry flavor backed by a hint of cinnamon and the usual flavors of oolong - But far more subtle. I'm usually not a fan of oolong, but it pairs well in this tea.

This is one of the few teas that, when smelling it in the bag, I thought I might enjoy it more hot rather than cold. For the record, I tend to cold brew the majority of my teas and very few ever touch water above room temp.

But, I was right! This was a blend that I served with a splash of vanilla creamer, served warm, and it had strong ice cream vibes. The almonds marzipan played super nice with my creamer, enhancing the ice cream sort of feeling from the cup overall. And the cherry? It was nice, and soft, and not at all aggressive or sour or weird. One of my favorite soap combos to smell in shops is cherry almond, and I’ve always felt that the almond scent was the more powerful of the two but that the cherry scent rounds it out a bit more and gives it an extra boost. That’s exactly what happened with this tea; they are better because they are together, and play off one another perfectly.

It is worth noting, however, that I did initially taste the brew on its own without any vanilla creamer, and it was OKAY, but felt a little thin. With the creamer, though? It gives the flavor that bit of body it needs to really go the distance. I’ll be drinking this again, for sure, but I’m expecting it to be a sort of… nighttime winding-down/after meal dessert tea rather than a crave-throughout-the-day, one.

Flavor was rather flat. Smells wonderful, it's too bad the flavor wasn't richer.

This is great tea! Nice soft cherry, totally delicious, I want another cup! I thought the tea might be red but it wasn’t, I like that. I just had my first cup but I’m ordering another bag.

I love mixing this tea with extra almond black tea as well as a pinch of vanilla or cream tea and it is perfec. the cinnamon isnt a problem for me and I'm normally not a huge cinnamon person. I think it works really well with the cherry. Dont be steered away by the cinnamon!! Chill over night for the best flavors.

Ok, so smelling this I was worried it would be medicinal, but I cold steeped it in a pitcher and it’s nice! It might have a bit more sweetness and rose than I’d like, but I still enjoy it a lot.

The cinnamon overpowers both the cherry (which is stronger in scent than in taste) and the marzipan. With some rebalancing, this would be a great tea.

This tea had juuuuust the right balance of everything: solid-bodied tea, cherry flavoring, and just a hint of almond! I've gotten my hopes up for some of Adagio's fruit teas then found them overpowering/medicinal, this one got it perfect. One of my favorites now! Cherry is a bit stronger than the almond, and you'd think it was a soft black tea rather than oolong. Delicious.

Strong cherry aroma, which isn’t a turnoff for me as I love cherries. Oolong comes through and it’s overall a nice cup.

If you aren't a big fan of cherry, or feel that Adagio's cherry teas sometimes lean medicinal (a comment I've seen a lot in the CommuniTEA discussions!) this may not be for you. I happen to love their cherry, and this combo - with almond and a generous dash of cinnamon - is a huge winner for me. I tried the original blend as a sample, and enjoyed the updated blend when it was sent out as part of the CommuniTEA even more. This one will be a staple on my tea shelf!
