This is my favorite tea ever. The sweet cherry flavor combined w the Martzipan is a perfect blend. I especially like it as ice tea.
It's very fragrant upon opening the bag. The first steep is ok. Honey brings out a little more of the cherry flavor, which is up front and finishes with almond. It's not a terrible cup. Just not for me.
not a HUGE cherry fanatic but i loved this blend. i iced this steeped for 5 minutes. i may have to cave and get 3oz
Very good but not my favourite oolong. I am a firm believer of steeping oolong at 85-90C for 5 minutes for deeper flavours, but I think the cherry didn’t quite do it for me in this case.
I was not sure about the combinate of cherry and almond, but this has become one of my favorite teas.
Am enjoying the Cherry Marzipan Oolong. A little light on flavor, but still very good. Nice cherry/almond balance to taste.
Unfortunately it tastes a bit like cough syrup. I will stick with my Dewy Cherry.
Not a delightful cherry flavor I had anticipated.
I was pleasantly surprised by this one! I really thought it was going to taste artificial...like a cherry lollipop with some amaretto thrown in lol. But it has a nice light flavor...the cherry is there, I wouldn't say subtle, but not artificial. The almond is kind of toasty, almost pastryish flavor and then a smidgen of cinnamon and rose. I can see, how, if brewed too strong it could be unpleasant, especially if you didn't care for some of the flavors, but I thought was pretty good!
The scent was pleasant and the first couple of sips were nice but the more I drank the more the flavor came off as soapy/perfume like. The almond and cinnamon showed up at the end of the cup but just barely. I'm glad I got to try the tea but not one I would purchase
I thought this was going to be a one-star tea for me. Other cherry flavored teas I've had from Adagio have tasted quite unpleasant. I was surprised to find that this one was a fairly decent tea. The cherry smell is still not great but it's a drinkable brew.
I was wary of this communiTEA sample. While I love the combination of cherry and vanilla, I don't care for fake cherry flavor. Not even in candy. However, I thought the cherry flavor in this tea was tolerable, albeit stronger than necessary. The almond finally came through to me when the tea cooled, and I never noticed any of the cinnamon that was mentioned. Overall, this tea was less offensive than I expected but I thought it tasted just okay.
A delightful treat! I get all the flavors coming through, but not so much the rose. I tasted more Cinnamon as the tea cooled. The Oolong gave it a smooth mouthfeel. Overall a lovely cherry tea that did not taste fake at all!
I will start by saying that I do not like almond flavoring. I opened the portion envelope and the almond flavor scent was too much for me. Then the cherry scent came out and I understood the 'cough syrup/drop' description used in many of the reviews. This is just not a tea for me.
Original Review, 4 🌟's on 5/7/22: Joyous to receive a plump ol' cherry in the CT packet today. This cup produced a cherry flavor with the dessert taste of Almond, in the background. I quite like cherry... and I don't mind if a tea has a medicinal vibe (as some reviewers notated)--so this is a fun cup if you are quite fine with such notes. For me, this would be a blend I would like to enjoy, here and there (but not super often) as something a lil different in the stash. ~~~~~~~
Updated review for 2/20/23 CommuniTEA sampling: Such an intense cherry tea. Definitely a tea that you have to be in the mood for to really dig it. Well, I have had this blend in my stash for about a year and I have only reached for it once, to enjoy it iced. Therefore.. lowering the vote to 3🌟's, as it really isn't a go-to for me. ~~~~~~~
Updated review on 9/9/24 ~ Filled an empty teabag with today's CommuniTEA packet and added the rest of a sample bag, I've had forever to it--Steeped for 4 mins & then added creme & a dash of rock crystal sugar. The added tea contents made this cup more marzipan, less medicinal cherry. I quite enjoyed it. However, this isn't a tea I reach for, in the tea stash nor desire...thus 3 stars remain. However, someone who enjoys almond-y desserts with a dash of cherry, may really enjoy this tea!!
This is one of those teas that I like the idea of, but I can never get past the cough syrup tasting cherry flavor. Alas.
I'm not really sure about this one. It has a scent that reminds me of cherry cough drops. It doesn't taste like it but it doesn't stand out much either.
I was worried it would have an overpowering cherry flavor as I am not typically a cherry flavor lover. I steeped at 212 for only 3 mins and it was perfect.
What a delightful blend of almonds and cherries! It really does remind me of marzipan. The cherry flavor is more dominant but still delicious.

Very, very floral in a way that overwhelms the cherry & marzipan for me. It tastes fine, just not what it says on the tin.
I find I have to use a lot of tea in order to get a full-bodied brew. I doubt that you could get a good cup from a second seep.
I love this flavor, being that I love anything cherry flavored. The marzipan makes it much sweeter and great with maple syrup as a sweetener. If you want a sweet treat, I recommend this.
This one is ok you can taste the cherry in it not sure if it's great. It's ok, I would recommend this tea to cherry lovers.
This has no flavor of almonds or cherries. I should have looked closer. All i can taste is the rose petals and hips. Instant migraine...
One of my early favorites! This was one of the first blends I used when I started making my own boba tea drinks at home. The almond flavor beautifully balances the sweetness of the cherry for a tasty treat that is unrivaled for my affections.
Very aromatic. Opening the bag is like walking into a bakery with the aroma of fresh-baked treats wafting up to meet me. The flavor isn't nearly as potent, however. I found I needed two teabags per cup to get the strength that I wanted, but then it tastes just like it smells—a tasty cherry treat!
This tea is an inspiration. It’s inspired me to mix my own flavors from sample sizes I order. I like the cherry marzipan flavor, but prefer a classic black tea to an oolong.

Not much flavor to this tea. Smells great, but I've used over twice the amount called for and it still doesn't have enough flavor for my liking.
I will admit, the cherry taste on this is strong. Incredibly strong. If you're looking for an Oolong first and a cherry tea second this is not your choice. But, if you're more of a sweet tooth who is looking for a healthier alternative to cherry cola with a bit of a caffeine kick, it's incredible!
Like all their other teas, opening a new bag and enjoying the appearance and aroma is a ritual I have really come to enjoy. The tea along with the entire experience is just so delightful.
This is a very aromatic tea and certainly flavorful! I was hoping for a more cherry almond vibe but it had a fairly strong (to me) rose taste. So, not bad, but not my personal fave!
I wish the marzipan flavor was stronger but this is a delightful oolong.

It's just tasty. I normally find Adagio's fruity teas to be less than stellar but this one was really tasty.
This tea is missing any boldness of flavor. I did not pick up cinnamon or cherry tastes. It takes like water.

Oh wow... The cherry and almond hit you strong when you open this up. My nose wanted to climb into the bag and zip it shut! Both of those flavors are a favorite for me in baked goods, and I can say with much satisfaction that this reminds me of my favorite cherry cupcakes. I love the oolongs from Adagio, they're always so smooth, and this one is a lovely counterpoint to the natural sweetness of the cherry and marzipan. The aftertaste is gentle cherry sweetness on the tongue and the brightness that comes from the almond.
10/10 would recommend!
This blend has a bold cherry flavor. I enjoyed the addition of the rose petals. It is a nice reddish color when brewed.
This one like some of the other fruity tea just seemed to have an artificial smell and flavor to me.
The aroma of cherry marzipan reached me as I opened my packet. I really hoped that aroma matched the flavor. Once brewed, spicy cinnamon, tart cherry and marzipan flavor joined the complex flavor of the oolong with its crip nutty notes and fruity and slightly sweet taste. The result is a creamy, sweet cherry marzipan cup that is as lovely as the candy.
Good flavor. The cherry isn't overpowering like others I've had. I think the almond mellows it out.

I absolutely love this tea iced. I keep this stocked in my pantry at all times. Aroma is divine and the flavor matches it. It is well balanced.
Very good, luscious, well-rounded. The cherry flavor is prominent but balanced with the almond/marzipan flavor. The aroma is excellent as well!
This tea if very flavorful but I think I personally just don't like the cherry and almond flavor. Definitely recommend if you do!
