Wow! I really enjoyed this tea! I plan on ordering it in the near future!

This is an interesting blend. I do like sage, however, it seems to be a bit overpowering and hide the blackberries. Tastes more like 2 teas put together than a cohesive blend. That said, this is my first time trying this one, and it was via the CommuniTEA Sample, so maybe the ratio in the sample bag wasn't right. I will try again from the bigger 3 oz bag I have and see if that changes things.

What a great tea. I love oolong but I'm hit or miss with sage. This has a perfect balance.

This tea is interesting, but lacking flavor for me. I can taste the blackberry with a chaser of sage at the end. Wish the blackberry was stronger.

Can't believe this has not been on my radar before now. Smooth oolong does not disappoint. My little packet contained a wallop of blackberry, with just enough of savory sage to complement the fruit flavor. The sage did not overpower the blackberry; although I did notice on the cool down the raspberry leaves came forward and left a faint floral-ish aftertaste. Don't let the herb scare you away. Blackberry rules in this oolong!

In the bag: About half of my packet is the twisted brittle leaves of Oolong. Also, a smattering of pale green-yellow leaves which I presume are raspberry leaves.

On the nose (pre-steep): As advertised, blackberry is the main flavor with sage in a closed second. Perhaps a touch of raspberry. Clean nose feel.

On the nose (post-steep): Sage has taken charge of the show. Blackberry has reduced to a mere hint.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Sage and mild blackberry flavors alternate places on my tongue depending on the moment. No bitterness. Background notes of river grass that I typically get from Oolong.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): Blackberry has returned to a leading position. Sage remains as a supporting player.

Opinion: An interesting and mostly pleasant tea, though I'm not sure the flavor combinations work. Sage and blackberry are an odd pairing here. But the blend has layers of depth to savor.

Preparation: First steep 4 min, second steep 8 min. Both @ 195 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

I like today’s tea! I had only had it iced before when Adagio offered a couple of iced pouches with purchase. It makes a great iced tea, but I also enjoyed it hot today. I brewed it at 195F for 3 minutes. Yes, the sage taste is noticeable but not overdone in my opinion. I think it’s well worth your while to give it a try.

Fresh and Sage-y...I find this to be a wondrous Berry / Green-y realm cuppa!!

First Smell: Very fragrant, almost like potpourri, but in the best possible way. I love the smell of the blackberry, raspberries and sage combined; I’m pleased the sage doesn't seem to overpower the other scents. It smells like it would be delicious cold, but I'm going to try the first couple of sips hot, and decide from there. If I rated on smell alone, this would receive 5 stars.

First Steep 4 mins @ 195

First taste, no sweetener: The sage is quite pronounced on my tongue, the berry is there but its very faint.

Added 1 splenda: This made the situation above, remain unchanged except now, it's sweeter…lol So, here goes some cream. I was beginning to think I might not care for this, but after adding the cream, wow! That helped mellow the sage and let some of that berry background come forward a bit and made all the difference in the world - to me. So, I may not try this cold, but I can see myself sipping this in the late summer, early fall. Yummy.

The sage gave me the feeling of walking in the woods when I had this tea iced. It along with the blackberry flavor tasted good hot and iced.

One of my all-time fav teas that I’ve been buying for years! Highly recommend if you love oolong, and want something a bit fruity, but not overpowering! 👍🏼

This. This tea right here. It’s life changing. Let the light sweet flavor and sent of the blackberries consume your mind while the sage clearly cleans any negative energy with you. Simply sip, breathe and forget the world around you!

This tea is great both hot or cold with or without sugar. I would recommend and I will be buying again

This has become one of my favorite teas. You do not need cram or sweetness with this. Just the smell makes a smile on my face. The sage is not overpowering. Delicious!

I love this tea. Steeped hot, it's much more savoury and sage-y, with the blackberry becoming more noticeable as it cools. I greatly prefer this as a cold-steeped tea, though; it's a delightful and refreshing iced tea with a more prominent blackberry flavour when steeped this way. It's honestly my favourite iced tea at all from Adagio.

Aromatic and tasty, a good pairing of fruit and herb, maybe a little more 'offbeat' than some other choices. Second favorite of the oolong blends we've tried.

Good hot, GREAT iced!!! A bit of savory herb makes for a surprisingly satisfying cup; it needs no sweetener but a pop of honey can smooth out the sage nicely. I envision this on ice combined with gin and simple syrup for an afternoon cocktail!

This tea smells incredible but I wasn’t as big of a fan as I thought I would be. Something about the flavors just don’t seem right together, perhaps it’s the sage?

Really liked this blackberry oolong! I tried it iced and it was refreshing and the sage wasn't too overpowering

★★★★★

This was a new discovery from the Advent calendar teas. I am a fan of blackberries and this tea did not disappoint.

★★★★☆

Very tasty, the sage is a flavor I am not used to in tea but I definitely appreciate it in this tea. It works well with the other flavors.

★★★★★

Amazing flavor! Naturally sweet and so soothing wouldn't add anything and definitely will buy again.

★★★★★

I am loving this tea! The sage and berry flavors compliment each other. I would love to try this as an iced tea in summer

★★★★☆

I like this, I don't love it, but I like it. It makes a good tea to have in the morning. Subtle flavor. I was hoping for more sage, and I think that is why I don't love it. It is a really nice first cup of the day.

First tried this in the advent calendar and I immediately added it to my list to buy! Love it hot and looking forward to trying it iced, as well.

So yummy! I love it iced with just a little sugar to bring out the flavors. You get the fruitiness of the blackberry upfront, and then the aftertaste is the niceness of the sage. Very good!

This is one of my top 5 teas. Fruity and mellow. Have already recommended it to my friends.

The blackberry flavor is lovely, but the sage came across strangely, almost bitter. I do love this when I want a full tea with some herbaceous flavor.

It’s a decent tea that’s quite smooth but the blackberry is quite subtle and the tea doesn’t have much flavor at all. Leaves seem quite broken. Quite drinkable overall but I won’t be buying again

I like this tea. It’s not super over powering and I get flavors of blackberry. I would recommend if you like sweet and slightly herb.

★★★★★

How have I not discovered this before now? The combination of blackberry and sage is just right. It's a black tea with jam notes, but not too sweet, and the addition of sage is an unexpected, slightly savory herbal twist. I was looking for a tea with sage in it, and this one is quite suitable.

Delicious tea with a perfect balance of blackberry, sage, and oolong tea. I enjoyed it immensely and was able to get a second milder-tasting steep. I highly recommend this tea. I steeped at 200 degrees for 4 minutes and added rock sugar or honey to bring out the flavors.

A good deal of curiosity went into this purchase. I love sage, but I'd never thought to combine it with tea. The berries add just the right amount of tartness.

Herbal notes are strong with the blackberry more underlying. Bright and satisfying

Delicious! The taste of sage was more pronounced than I expected, but it didn't make the tea feel savory at all. I remember ordering a few fruity blends from adagio years ago and not being terribly impressed with the strength of the flavor, but this tastes strongly of blackberry, and it goes fantastically with the sage. Makes an excellent dessert tea.

Love a good oolong tea. Sweet tea with nice notes of raspberry make this the perfect iced drink for a little boost

This is a fantastic full flavor tea. The sage is not over powering at all but the blackberry adds a subtle sweetness.

I wanted to try some new ice tea flavors but there aren't samples pouches available. So I purchased a sample of this and tried it out. It's like drinking candy. I didn't taste any sage at all but there is a blackberry aftertaste. It's far too sickly sweet to drink though.

★★★★★

Love this tea! I use it to make tea cubes, then I have a cup of iced tea whenever I want.

This is a great tea on it's own and I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did hot. And then Adagio went and proved to me that it was equally good, if not better, cold! Since I have the ice tea pitcher, I prefer purchasing loose leaf vs the ice tea bags. It gives me a bit more flexibility in terms of deciding if it's a hot or cold day...or both! This has become a pantry staple

The smell of this tea is amazing. I would bathe in it if they made it a soap and burn it as a candle. a great every day tea.

★★★★★

I have been waiting for this to come! I had the sample and OMG it was AMAZING. A great blend of blackberry flavor and grounding sage.

★★★★☆

I like this one, but I would like a stronger blackberry flavor. But I am not much for subtlety when it comes to fruit-flavored teas. I also smell the sage more than taste it. Regardless, the balance is delicious.

I have to say it’s an interesting tea. It’s not my favorite but it has a nice raspberry taste with a sage after note.

When I first opened the package I was greeted with a lovely berry bouquet. Once it was brewed, I didn't taste much of the blackberry but did get quite a bit of the herbal scent of the sage. I let it cool and poured it over ice. I found it was a very refreshing glass of tea.

Once again, I’m not sure why I haven’t reviewed this one before, now to set that right. I love blackberry everything so I was very eager to try this, long ago. I’ve said I was going to try todays CT cold brewed, but I enjoy this one so much hot, I still haven’t tried it cold. The aroma is a lovely berry and sage combination. The sage is a very light, background flavor note. The blackberry is there, not as strong as I’d like personally, but strong enough to add a touch of sweetness. I love that this has an oolong base, so it’s a less heavy tea than a black based one would be. I got no bitterness, and the caffeine is light enough that I got no jitters from it. This is a blend that can be sipped at any time of day, a perfectly lovely tea. (190° for 3.5 minutes)

The sage was stronger than the blackberry flavor which isn't inherently a bad thing but unfortunately wasn't great for me. Sage is a flavor that I'm really particular about and having it in this tea wasn't what I would want. However, if you are a fan of sage this is a really interesting tea that you would probably enjoy.
