I love this one. I steep it like an oolong, not like an herbal, and the sage comes forward beautifully. The blackberry tastes natural, not sharp, and blends with the other flavors without taking over.
Bold, earthy flavors of berries and herbs; a grounding tea with a complex character.

I love this one. I steep it like an oolong, not like an herbal, and the sage comes forward beautifully. The blackberry tastes natural, not sharp, and blends with the other flavors without taking over.
I'm not a fan of oolong, but thought that this might be a decent tea because of the blackberry. Unfortunately, the blackberry doesn't really come through - It's overpowered by the flavor of the ooling and sage, and isn't something I personally enjoy. If you like those two flavors though, you might enjoy this.
Nice oolong. The blueberry and sage come through clearly. The sage gives it a dry feel on the tongue that I find notable but also enjoy.
This tea is great, fruity and sweet flavor, a new favorite of mine.
Not overbearing! The leaves have a good smell, very blueberry. It's a nice mild tea for early in the morning. I don't get a lot of sage flavor though. I did steep it longer than anticipated, but it didn't get bitter, which is nice.
Excellent tea. Fairly sweet, but the sage comes through nicely at the end--I was surprised by how much I liked it
this has become one of my new favorites. I often would drink a blend like this from another company. This is so much better.
This one is just ok. The sage was a little overpowering, and the blackberry was a bit too sweet for me.
I m so glad this was added even though it didn t win either voting round. It has the best blackberry flavor of any of the blackberry teas.
Let s get one thing clear first: I really wanted to like this one. Really. Because I absolutely love sage, but something about the ratios...it tastes very medicinal. It s okay.
Ever good lovely smell and taste . Mix with a little honey and perfect
This was a wonderfully balanced tea. I wasn't sure if I would like the sage, but it was very good in this blend.
I can really taste the sage in this tea. It's a very unique and enjoyable flavor. This tea has a good taste and strength overall.
I put a teaspoon of amber rock sugar in this one. Sage has a lot of health benefits and so does oolong. This is actual sage, not a flavor or oil. The blackberry comes through, and oddly, I get a hint of mint at the end, but it is definitely not strong. I can barely taste any oolong, but the bag might have settled poorly on this first taste. It doesn't taste like a blackberry sage herbal, as the berry is not strong or tart enough, but it is definitely there. It tastes more like a blackberry sage black. I think I might add a scoop of a strong oolong, perhaps a charcoal baked oolong to this mix to get more of the oolong flavor in it. It's definitely great, though, and I wish I had ordered more than 2oz. This is going to be a regular rotation for me.
Has a very summery taste. I was worried that the sage flavor would be overwhelming, but the tea was very well balanced
When I opened the bag, it hit me with a very strong blackberry and sage scent. The actual scent and flavor of the tea when steeped is more subtle, which I'm glad for. Ended up steeping it at a lower temp than Adagio recommends, and it was a pleasantly smooth flavor. I've tried Republic of Tea's blackberry sage black tea before but I like the taste profile that the oolong brings better.
So so good brewed into an ice tea. My family loves this tea.
The sage flavor is very interesting, and the blackberry comes through too. It s brought down a bit by the poor quality of the standard black tea base--it gets bitter and astringent very easily. But the flavor profile is still unique and tasty.
A very unique tea. The sage adds a bit much for me to drink regularly but a nice tea to shake things up
Teavana had a tea called “citrus lavender sage” I felt sad to see that tea go, but now that I found this tea, I’m happier again cause I get that savoury sage fix.
My next brew I’m going to mix this tea and lavender lemon together, bet it will be delicious!
The sage is a little too strong in this tea. I have tried different steeping times and have not come up with the correct one yet.
Really nice sageflavor comes through. This is a really great tea.
I ordered this tea because I wanted to try something different. A fruit/herbal mix sounded good. And it is! The subtle blackberry flavor complements the earthy sage while not overpowering the taste and aroma of the Oolong tea. Nice relaxing smooth cup of tea!
this tea is great hot or iced. the sage is very subtle but what is there really compliments the blackberry flavour.
This is a pleasant oolong with some fruity notes. The sage is not very strong, which I found a touch disappointing, but this is still a very nice tea.
this tea has a beautiful blackberry and sage flavor that compliments each other perfectly And It's an Oolong (thank you adagio!!)
This is an amazing tea! It’s great hot or iced or even room temp. It tastes like an actual blackberry with a hint of sage! Definitely one of my favorites!!!
This tea is a refreshing blend of summer. Great iced too!
I loved this tea!! I’m usually picky about Oolong teas, but this one was great. Fruity and rich.
I don't taste blackberry in this tea at all. Instead, it came across as a light oolong flavor. Not a bad tea but not anything like I was expecting.
This didn t taste like a car air freshener, which is good. The sage tastes pretty nice.
I prefer this to RoT's blackberry sage tea. The blackberry flavor is very strong but the sage adds an interesting dimension, with the oolong in the background.
Nice blackberry flavor... not feeling the sage much.
Love this, the sage is very subtle, gives a nice complexity to the tea!
This is the best new tea I’ve tasted in awhile. Perfect for evening treat
The sage definitely smelled stronger out of the package! I put a little less than a teaspoon into a cup, so it was not the strongest brew, and enjoyed the lighter flavor. Will try iced soon!
My favorite iced tea this summer!!! The sage is a delicious after-taste. Wow. Lots of flavors to taste here, and I m really enjoying this! Gotta get another bag!
I did not really enjoy this tea. The blackberry flavor was a little too artificial for me.
I find that the sage overpowers the blackberry, but I think this is a good tea when you need something different. If you like sage, you should definitely try this tea.
Bright punchy berry aroma that mellows into a layered and complex brew, softened by the unobtrusive presence of sage. Despite the scent this blend is less tart than many other fruit teas, which I truly appreciate, and is as enjoyable hot as it is cold.
I was able to get triple the amount of servings out of this sample than suggested. It is pretty spectacular. The first cup tasted mostly of sage, which I enjoy. The second cup tasted of an equal blend of blackberry and sage. And the third was of blackberries with a hint of sage. I loved it. I will buy this tea again.
I was not a huge fan of this one. I would open my tea cabinet and the smell of the sample pack would be overwhelming. The sage threw me off. However, this gets a 3 star rather than lower because my sister and friend both really loved it!
I'm so excited that Adagio added this to their regular collection. I tried this as a sample when they were asking for votes on new flavors. Sadly this didn't win, and I've been craving it.
Republic of tea makes a black tea that is this flavor and my boyfriend loves it. I'm more of an oolong person, so this is a great compromise. We both love it and drink it regularly.
Good, not great. Needs something to balance the sage.
Sage forward with hint of blackberry, nice change up.
This is pretty fantastic. The smell when you open the bag is deceptive, because it smells very heavily of blackberry, but actually think it could use a touch more blackberry flavor, I found the sage to be very understated and pleasant. I'll be adding this in to my regular stash.
For me, this was more of an experience than anything else since I wasn’t familiar with this flavor combo. The flavor of sage is present at first, and then there are finishing notes of blackberry and raspberry. For me, this isn’t an every day tea, but I’m happy I tried it.
I didn t expect to love this, but I do. It s not overpowering, it s hard to describe, I Just know that I like this one.
While I know blackberry sage is not a new combo, I'd never had it, but I love sage, so I was hopeful. I was even more hopeful with the oolong base, because I love oolong. It does not disappoint at all. Unlike some of the reviews, Mum and I both tasted the sage before the blackberry, although both notes were definitely there. The herbaceous bite was smoothed out by the berry sweetness and the oolong smoothness (and in my case two tea spoons of sugar). Absolutely recommend it if you like sage, oolong, or are just looking for something different. ...of course, it's also worth noting that I put a bag full in to steep before work Thursday and realized Friday morning I'd forgotten it. A minute in the microwave and two spoonfuls of sugar later it tasted just fine, despite over ten hours of steeping!
Really good tea. Strong herb smell upon opening the bag, but much more fruity when brewed with the sage more as an aftertaste. I added a little bit of sugar to the second steeping, and it tasted almost like cotton candy.
