This one I got as a sample first and it reminded me of a Blackberry tea I had at a poetry slam in high school.
Bold, earthy flavors of berries and herbs; a grounding tea with a complex character.

This one I got as a sample first and it reminded me of a Blackberry tea I had at a poetry slam in high school.
I really enjoyed this! All the flavors are there- the blackberry scent and taste comes first, the oolong is right behind it. Then the finish is a slight hint of sage. SO good! I was surprised by this because I don't normally like flavored teas. I got a sample to try and now I'm ordering more...
I am not crazy about this tea on its own but, If you were to mix it with regular cream or a vanilla creme or almond creme flavored loose tea it definitely makes it taste better. I love blackberry but not mixed with sage. It is a strange taste on its own.
This tastes like a smoothie my mom used to make when i was little. Very good!
This isn't something I thought I would like very much due to the fact I'm not a fan of sage, but I actually really enjoyed the combination of blackberry with the sage. It s not too overpowering, and everything balances nicely to make a nice oolong tea. Not something I'll keep ordering, but it was definitely worth a try!
I honestly never expected to enjoy this because non-citrus fruity teas taste weird to me, and the thought of a flavored oolong is, frankly, bizarre. But I've been on an oolong kick lately and sage is on my list of ingredients I'm liking. This is amazing - all the earthy warmth of a pot of oolong with a mildly floral-fruity punch.
This tea has a great aroma, good balance of flavors.
This tea smells so wonderful both in the bag and after being steeped. I love fruity teas so this was of course a hit with me.
Love the blackberry good and the sage not over powering.
I loved this blend! So much that I have accidentally purchased it three times.
Nice subtle blackberry and sage flavors. Neither is overpowering. Had this hot but would be great iced too.
love the flavor of this tea the blackberry isn't so strong that it over powers the sage or oolong.
Shuttle notes of vanilla added to nice blackberry flavors.
Delicious, tasty, bold yet smooth. Fantastic combo of fruit and herb.
Refreshing and light blend. Can steep for quite some time without going bitter which is much appreciated.
I was hoping for a much stronger blackberry flavor, but the sage overpowers it. If you like spiced teas, this is a good one
Look, I live in the land of blackberries and I spend as much time eating them as I do trying to keep them from taking over the house. And so high standards but this was a bit disappointing- The blackberry flavoring...hmmm...doesn't taste very blackberry so much as vaguely fruity and artificially sweet. It comes across STRONG but as it mixes the sage and oolong it ends up in bubblegum/tutti frutti land.
I'd say it's okay because it's still drinkable plain and I might find a way to serve it (a ton of milk maybe) that puts it in an enjoyable region.
This is quickly becoming my favorite Oolong tea. I've been having a cup just about every day since I opened the pouch. It has subtle earthy, subtle fruity flavors and as most of the reviewers have pointed out, the description is spot on. I love the pairing of blackberry and sage. It does have an overwhelming nose of Blackberry or blueberry when you open the package, however, it is balanced with the sage when drunk as a tea.
Such a wonderful aroma with great taste. Helped to make the start of the day even better or after a long day of work.
I enjoy this tea, would prefer a bit less sage as it is a bit overpowering
I wanted to like this, I really did. In reality it is exactly what it says it is, but the sage left too much of a funky after taste for me. Its not terrible, but definitely something I will have to be in the mood for.
A delicious blend of the earthy and sweet. Definitely a favorite!
Summertime in a cup! Reminiscent of summer days picking and then freezing blackberries. The addition of sage, while it sounded strange at first (Thanksgiving turkey????), magically, added an earthiness to the blend without being a strong note. Love this tea - will be buying more!
I love the flavor of this tea! I mix it with silver needle white tea, some green tea and oolong. Flavors are on point!
This tea is easily one of my favorites! Fruity and sweet, it is absolutely lovely!
My husband LOVES this tea- it has become his go to. I however just find it okay. It does have a very distinct and interesting flavor, it's just not totally my thing.
I've really enjoyed this as a part of my caffeinated-tea rotation, but I wouldn't want it all the time.
The proper sample size for this tea is 1 pound. This tea has a special place in my life.
I ve spent a number of years battling chronic illness that s complicated but not made worse by caffeine - it just takes extra effort to live with - and recently was told that my dreams were too big for my body and that I needed to pick what was most important to me to keep. Having a cup of this tea in the morning is such a positive experience that it was one of the first things I decided was worth the extra effort in the morning.
This tea has a good balance of sweet and earthy tastes. For someone who likes mostly earthy tastes and dislikes sweeter, fruity teas, this one is surprisingly good for a fruity tea. I'll be buying more!
It smelled wonderful while steeping. But, sadly, the taste wasn't quite what I liked. Just a but too much sage for me personally.
This was pretty good! I am usually not a fan of the berry flavoring in most drinks, but this one was subtle and added the perfect amount of sweetness. The fact that it was an oolong also helped.
The berries in this tea give a nice burst of fruity sweetness with the backdrop of the oolong. The sage also felt pretty integrated with the rest of the tea, all the flavors blending well together.
The fragrance of this tea while steeping was very intriguing and I had high hopes, but I didn't really care for it. I do like berry-flavored teas, but I couldn't taste the blackberry. I think the sage was a bit overwhelming for me.
I tried a sample of this and loved it! Great aroma and very tasty. I can’t explain the flavors but I will purchase.
The blackberry and sage are perfectly balanced together. Smooth and comforting.
Bought to drink iced, Strong Blackberry flavor with a good note of Sage to round it out. Also great Hot
This one is wonderful! Such a nice balance between berry and sage.it's not as sweet as I expected from the smell, which is nice. It's smooth and the flavors blend so well- nothing overpowers.
My first thought when I opened the bag was, OH BLACKBERRIES. This is a great tasting tea, the BlackBerry and Sage pair extremely well together.
I was excited to see this as part of CommuniTea. I discovered this tea and early January and it has fast become a favorite. The blackberry and sage perfectly compliment the oolong.
This is my absolute favorite tea! The sage balances the blackberry notes very well. It gives off a warm, earthy forest vibe- I recommend pairing it with a good fantasy/adventure book.
I didn’t know how I was going to like this one bc it sounds pretty weird but it’s actually really nice. The sage is subtle and just kind of stays in the background and it’s got a nice rich blackberry flavor. Very yum
Wow! I love this tea!! Perfect balance of fruity and oolongy. I'm definitely going to reorder. Tastes great by itself. No sugar needed or wanted.
Again, not for hose who dislike herby flavors, but it had a wonderful scent and was very nice to sip while I worked on some sewing. Forgot it for a while and it cooled- not as great as a hot-to-warm cup, but surprisingly better than expected.
I love this tea. I didn’t think I’d like it with sage added. Just didn’t seem like something that would go well with tea. But it’s very very good. One of my favorites right now honestly.
The combination of the blackberry and sage gives the tea an interesting and enjoyable depth
This is such a unique flavor I go back and forth on this one. I definitely do not recommend over brewing it.
This tea smells SO GOOD right when you open the bag, and the flavor does not disappoint. You get the sweetness of the berries, but herbal sage and pungent oolong. One of my favorite afternoon teas.
This is one of my newest favourite teas. Even if you over steep it, it s still drinkable and it makes a great iced tea.
Lots of Sage in this one
Such a unique tea. It's a realistic blackberry flavor, not something candy-like. The sage and blackberry combo is herbal and lightly fruity with the right amount of depth to it.
