Adagio's almond teas don't disappoint, this is a nice strong tea with that extra kick and tastes great on its own or with some vegan almond milk creamer.
i'm iffy about almonds... adore marzipan and almond desserts often more than the nuts themselves, so wasn't sure what to expect in the tea. it's a hit!
I have a bit of a soft spot for almond flavor in tea so I really liked this one.
This tea tastes like a basic, unflavored highly oxidized oolong. I have trouble tasting the almond flavor even when I try different brewing times and temperatures. I tried mixing it with other teas to help accent their flavors and honestly just to use up my sample bag. Perhaps a cold brew would bring out more flavor. It s not a terrible tea, it just doesn t bring much new to the table. I find the cherry marzipan oolong far superior due to its complexity of flavors.
This tea is amazing! Smooth, flavorful with just the right amount of almond flavor coming through. Great for breakfast, or anytime you're in the mood for a comforting cup of tea.

Addendum: I received a free sample bag of cherry marzipan oolong [and was unable to review it because I didn't buy it]. It was ok. I blended it with almond oolong and it was much tastier!
Really enjoying this tea. The almond flavor and aroma is spot-on and the oolong base is a perfect match for it.
The smell of this blend is strongly like sweet almond extract, but the taste is more subtle. The taste is black tea and a soft hint of almond, like in biscotti.
Helps with my husband's migraine headaches!!! Oolong is great for them so if you have them, start sipping oolong!
When I bought a sample of almond oolong, I really loved it! The almond flavor was stronger than in the almond black tea, So I ordered a 16 ounce bag of it, only to find that it tastes nothing like the sample. The almond flavor is lacking & I am greatly disappointed. UPDATE: I now mix 1/4 scoop of this with 3/4 scoop coconut black tea for a nice almond-coconut tea!
Smooth and elegant. It’s subtle, not strong almond like marzipan. It needs the full four minutes t develop.

I was enjoying the fruity oolongs and decided to try this because of how delicious they were. Sure enough, oolong is delicious with almond too! I loved this tea so much more than the almond black tea available from Adagio. The almond flavor comes through with no bitterness from the tea. The taste is more almond extract/marzipan-like than like a roasted nut. I’d prefer the latter but it’s good.

I love this tea! The almond flavoring is very strong, but in a positive way. It works well as either a breakfast tea or a dessert tea (with some milk and honey!)
I previously got this as a 1-cup sample and it's one of the few I've repurchased! The almond scent is strong but when brewed, the almond and oolong flavours are perfectly balanced. The almond is noticeable, but doesn't take over the flavour is that makes sense. Definitely a flavour that I'll be purchasing again once mine runs out. I'm also thinking about mixing this with a berry tea to get a fruit and berries flavour.
It was a bit weak so I upped the amount but then it was bitter. So I increased the steep time instead and, perfect!
I love the almond black tea...and while this one isn't as strongly almond-flavored, I like that about it. The smooth marizpan flavor pairs well with the oolong's roasty-ness, and it's really satisfying. :)
WOW is this delicious!! Honestly one of the best teas I have tried so far on my tea journey. It tastes like a sweet almond cookie. I’m sure this will sound bizarre, but it tastes exactly like these almond cookies I can only find at the dollar store. LOL. Well, now I can drink the cookies instead.
The almond comes through nicely but there are other oolong blends that are better than this one.

Marzipan in a cup! Mediocre on its own though, in my opinion. Definitely one that you'll want to add your favorite kind of milk and a little sweetener to.
A nice simple tea; the almond flavoring is very soothing and is a good way to wind down for the day. A great starter tea for those who want to get into drinking tea more often, and for veterans who enjoy almond tastes.
First brew has an addictive almond punch to it, with a mild second brew.

This is the tea that started me on Adagio. Back when I wasn't a tea fan, I only drank tea when I was sick. I would usually order a tea from a local coffee shop during the work day, and this quickly became my go-to. I liked it so much that I started ordering it even when I wasn't sick. Months later, I tried to hunt it down online and found Adagio. My obsession was born after that. :)
Not really one way or another on this one, the almond was pleasant, the oolong was present, together they just did not end up doing it for me.
I love this tea! It's perfect as a saturday morning tea; with a medium amount of caffeine, it has just enough to get me up and around plus the smooth and perfectly indulgent flavor makes me feel cozy and at home. The almond flavor is natural tasting and not too strong. I haven't tried other almond teas but I don't feel that I need to now that I've found this tea! Would definitely recommend! :)

This is definitely for a lover of almond. It smells like furniture polish. There is a heavy almond flavor, masking the taste of the tea leaves. This tea would likely taste better with milk/cream which I don't usually add to my tea. That being said, my 9 year old tea expert agreed that it was 'just okay'.
So smooth! This is one of my favorite anytime teas. Delicious as-is or with cream and sugar for an indulgent treat!

Absolutely one of my favorite oolongs! It has a light nutty taste and a pleasant aroma. Exactly what you would expect of an almond oolong tea.
Personally, I don't like anything that contains almonds. However, my mother loves this tea with a passion. She used to drink a tea called amaretto (not from Adagio), but it was discontinued years ago. She says this tea tastes just like it and she always has to have it in stock.
This one is okay, but a little one-note. This one tastes better with a vanilla tea, a black blend, or with other mix-ins.
Didn’t really taste the almond as much as a wanted, but overall a really pleasant trees.
