Rusty flavor with a great aroma. I really enjoy this tea and will be purchasing it again.
Savory almond with Taiwan oolong tea. Smooth, nutty aroma, full and rounded body, sweet marzipan flavor.

Rusty flavor with a great aroma. I really enjoy this tea and will be purchasing it again.
Wonderful, smooth, and just slightly sweet. Great iced.
Tea was great. Very smooth and subtle. I added a little too much sugar, the tea is sweet by itself. Next time no sugar!!
What it says on the tin. A nice oolong tea that is true to its name. A nice almond flavor and smell without being overpowering.
didn't get to try it myself since i gave it to my siser-in-law but she said it tastes great!
A sample that I will probably not order again. The flavor was reminsicent of Pepsi or some other type of cola.
Update: I gave this blend another go more recently and still find the flavor a bit off-putting at times, especially the occasional vulcanized rubber aftertaste.
It smells like cherry cough drops, but it doesn't taste anything like it smells. It is vanilla-ish and nice, but very one-note. I'm used to blends, though.
This tea is delightful! It tastes like a naughty almond sugar cookie but it is completely guilt-free. I like it a little bit on the lighter side - the almond flavor can get really overpowering really quickly. Tastes like almond extract. This would be AMAZING with some milk!
Me and oolong must not like each other this is the 3rd one i've tried from adagio and who knows how many other oolongs I've had. I just really can't get into oolong :( black or green no in-between for me
The almond flavor may be a little too intense, but it is a sweet dessert tea.
Smooth tasting, and actually quite good iced and lightly sweetened
this tea is kind of bland but ok. I would drink it again.
I like oolongs and this one was quite nice. Sweet flavor I was hoping for.
Wow! Its like a delicious cake without the sugar. I add a little sweetner and make it like a cake.
I really enjoy this tea on cold winter afternoons. Love the flavor - and I love that it's not too sweet.
This had the right strength of almond for me. It kept the flavor even cold. Will definitely be making iced milk tea out of this in the summer.
This tea has a nutty, almost fruity flavor. I haven't been a fan of oolong teas until this one. It's such a smooth flavor.
Not my cup of tea. Not sure if I am an oolong fan or if I disliked the almond flavoring. Glad it was a sample.
I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I've had blends that use almond (black) tea and found the flavor to be too strong and tasting of almond extract. This tea tastes like buying whole almonds and cracking them open at home. I'll continue to enjoy it on its own and definitely consider it for blends.
Smells like almond extract. Tastes like it smells. Need I say more? Will definitely order again.
This is the first time I have had oolong tea. If you love the flavor of almond, you will love this tea...very enjoyable as a dessert tea...would definitely order again.
Nutty and sweet, this tea kind of reminds me of those little almond cookies.
I was thrilled with the smell when I opened the bag. Of course, smell rarely translates to taste, and this turned out to be the case. Still, I was pleasantly surprised - this was my first encounter with any oolong tea, and I definitely prefer it to black! The almond flavor is very very light and I couldn't detect it until the tea was cool. I wasn't in the ideal brewing conditions, nor was I in a position to add milk and sugar or honey, so I am curious to find if that brings out the almond a bit more. In the meantime, I can see this being something I drink with cookies or biscotti or something. It just seems to fit. edit to add: My husband is a fan of this one definitely. Have ordered more to share with him.
This is a really interesting tea. On first opening, it's insanely almond. It smells so fantastic and reminds me of marzipan or almond poppy seed muffins. Brewed, the almond is so subtle I can really only taste it on the finish. I haven't tried it yet with cream or sugar, but that might bring out the almond a bit more. To be honest, it's a very natural almond and I think that's why it's not the almond flavour I was expecting. It's nutty as opposed to extracty. Cooled, the tea is surprisingly wonderful. I honestly think I might like it better that way--not necessarily iced, but room temperature, as weird as it sounds. I also think this one would be great in blends that could compliment the subtle earthy notes.
I like the almond flavor, but could do without the artificial cherry flavor taste it came with. Not a fan.
I really enjoyed the almond flavor of this tea. I like almond flavors in just about anything and I don't like almonds, but loved this. It pairs well with mate teas like the mocha nut mate. Very good!! This will be a staple in my tea drawer.
I know some people don't care for this tea, but I personally love it. I think it tastes fantastic and I look forward to having it again.
This was sent as a free sample with my free Chai Sampler (for choosing what Punxsutawney would see). This is totally, completely, amazingly smooth and warm all across the board, from the great smell out of the bag to the warm, rich flavor drinking it down.
I'm not a big fan of the almond black tea so I was wary of this one, but the oolong melds so nicely with the almond flavour. The smell is a little strong, but the flavour is more mellow and works really well on its own.
I got this as a sample pack. The flavor profile is simple and pleasant with a complimenting body of almond. However, the scent of the almond is like a punch to the face. The aroma is strongest in the pouch and not quite as strong brewed, but for me, personally, the strong scent made it difficult for me to enjoy my cuppa.
It has a beautiful marzipan flavor that dances on your tongue.
This was my first oolong tea. I thought this was fantastic! The smell upon opening the bag was great and the tea smelled wonderful after it was brewed. It definitely had an almond marzipan flavor. I have to admit that it was the marzipan flavor that was the reason I picked up this tea to try. The flavor is not strong or overwhelming but not weak. I would say that it is full of flavor and worth purchasing a larger bag.
This tea is ok. Probably something that i would order once in a while
I generally love almond flavor, but it was a bit much for me in this tea. The almond flavoring tastes a bit artificial, but when you dunk a sugar cookie in the tea, it's pretty nice.
This is one of my favorite adagio teas, much better than the black almond in my opinion.
Almond oolong is one of my favorites among oolongs. It's good on its own, but I also like mixing in some vanilla oolong sometimes.
When you open the bag, this smells like amaretto heaven! Tastes yummy too.
When opening this bag the aroma is intense but it smells good, my brother thought it smelt like cherry grenadine which he also enjoys. I steeped for 3 minutes and the flavor is smooth and subtle with some tasteful almond notes. This isn't my kind of tea but overall it's not bad.
I love oolong tea and this one is really good. A nice almond flavor and its smooth and nutty.
i couldn't taste too much almond until i put milk in it. besides that, it's pretty good...
Beautiful color. It has this nice almond flavor with a mix of fresh oolong tea.
Mmmmm! A lovely cuppa, not bitter and slightly nutty (like me)
Although the almond flavor in this tea is not what I expected, I found that I really enjoyed this tea. Oolong is one of my favorite teas to brew, and this oolong was smooth and rich. The almond flavor seemed more like an earthy undertone than a bold nutty flavor to me, but it definitely added to the overall smoothness of the tea. I suggest sampling this one before buying a large amount though!
Favorite tea for myself. The taste is perfect for an afternoon relaxation!
I'm a fan of this tea. It smells incredibly sweet. The taste is also quite sweet but doesn't leave a sugary taste in your mouth. Very good.
Don't be fooled by the smell of the unsteeped leaves. Fresh out of the bag, the almond oolong smells almost overpoweringly of almond extract, but once steeped it tasted predominantly of oolong with just a hint of nutty almond flavor. I'm not a fan of overly sweet things so I thought it was perfect. Pleasantly sweet without being cloying.
I received this as a sample and I was very sad when I got to the bottom of my cup. On my purchase list!
This is a nice, sweet tea. I really enjoy oolong teas, this one being no exception. It has a strong, but not bad, aroma, and was just a really pleasant cup of tea.
I. Love. This. Tea. It's absolutely delicious!! All the smooth, subtly sweet flavour of almond with a warm sort of...almost earthy undertone, but much lighter than pu erh's undertones. Delicious!!! Definitely a favourite, and plays really well with other teas.
the smell of the unbrewed tea is almost overpowering, which left me worried. However, the tea itself is much more subtle. Not my favorite on its own, but I imagine it would add subtle sweetness and nuttiness to a blend.
