★☆☆☆☆

I enjoy oolongs, so I thought I'd try something different. Unfortunately, the almond flavoring was a bit overwhelming. I probably should have guessed that I wouldn't enjoy it as I'm not a fan of hazelnut flavored coffee products either.

★★★☆☆

This tea packs an aromatic punch! Unsealing the bag immediately notifies your senses of heavy almond, which is not at all unpleasant. I can imagine the aroma of this tea being to pungent for some, but when brewed the aroma seems to tame a bit. Definitely has a notable nuttyness to it. Decent cup of tea, but not Adagio's finest.

I tried a sample of this tea and it is definitely going on my next order in a larger quantity. This tea un-brewed has a fairly strong almond aroma which does mellow with brewing. The almond taste is still very forward in the brewed tea, which was very satisfying for me. I really enjoyed it but if you are looking for a tea with just a hint of a nutty flavor this probably isn't for you, or you might want to consider blending with another tea.

★★★★☆

I got this flavor as a sample..very smooth and tasty.

The aroma of almond is immediately available after the bag is opened. That aroma is the exact reason I bought this tea.
Brewing smells more of almond than oolong, but the oolong is detectable and delicious smelling.
Tasting that first sip was delightful. It is reminiscent of marzipan and amaretto with the personality of the oolong coupled strongly. They go well together, it makes the oolong seem smokier and nuttier, I think.

It does, however, smell sweeter than it tastes. Maybe this would be an issue for you. Maybe this problem can be solved with sugar, but I don't do that to my teas anymore.

I've had an entire liter of this tea so far, and I look forward to the next several liters. Excellent tea!

★★★★★

My friend and I both bought a bag of the loose tea on a whim... Amazing decision, we will both be purchasing this flavor again

★★★☆☆

Too light of a flavor for me, but the aroma is fantastic. This isn't a tea I'm going to keep in stock but it would be nice to enjoy every now and then. Recommend it as something to try at least once.

★★★☆☆

This almond tea is not overpowering with its almond flavor. It can be enjoyed year round.

★★★★★

I LOVE this blend!!! It reminds me of Almond Cookies bought with Chinese take-out. I first had those cookies a long time ago before my dad passed away when I brought some home for us. We'd have them with some of the Chinese teas he brought home too. This tea is divine! A bit of sugar (or now honey crystals)...mmmm. I received a free sample with my first ever Adagio tea purchase and well, there ya go! Bought a bigger bag online and got another sample! WOOOOT WOOOOOT!

★★☆☆☆

I ordered the sample of this tea, which smelled AWESOME and tasted good, but then bought the 3 oz (?) size. It smells bad, and the tea is completely bland. I don't know why there's a difference, but it was pretty disappointing.

★★★★☆

Very smooth taste I like this tea in ice cause I seldom drink hot tea

★★★★☆

My roommate ordered this last month and shared it with me, and I liked it so much that I had to get some for myself! It's not too nutty and very smooth :)

★★★★☆

I loved this when I used the sample! It tasted like almond cookies. I added some vanilla almond milk. I bought a pound of it and now it doesn't taste quite as good to me, maybe I need to play around with the brewing time. It's possible that I brew it too long because it became a little bitter. Anyhow, it's still really good and I drink it when I want something more substantial than an herbal but not as much as a black tea.

I usually find most almond teas overpowering, but this was sublime. I will definitely be ordering it again and sharing it at the end of dinner parties. It would be fantastic with dessert.

★★★★★

this is seriously my new favorite tea. i love drinking it hot.

★★★★☆

The almond notes are strong in this tea. Flavorful.

★★★★★

I love almond and this tea has the perfect flavor without adding anything to it. I have shared this tea to others and they love it too!

★★☆☆☆

I got almond oolong as a free sample added to an order. I would not have chosen it myself. It smells and tastes like sweet almond oil or almond extract. I do not appreciate the flavor. If that is something you enjoy, this tea might be just the thing for you.

★★★★☆

I really enjoyed this tea. The smell from the pouch is quite strong, but the the flavor is much more subtle. I found that changing the strength of the tea does change the overall flavor... if you make it on the weaker side, you get more 'almond' flavor overall, but if you make it on the stronger side, the full flavor of the oolong seems to come out. Either way, the almond flavor is NOT too overpowering... more of a subtle undertone.

★★★★★

Delicious, one of my favorite oolongs. Subtle amaretto flavor, but needs a touch of sugar. Great on fall night

★★★★☆

The flavors in this one are well balanced but it's a little astringent for my taste. Would not drink without tempering with milk and sugar.

★★☆☆☆

Ugh, I love a good oolong but this one has too much 'natural flavor' in it to be good. I think it'd be better suited to be called 'natural artificial flavor.'

I thought this would be a great tea, but none of us particularly cared for it that tried it. I was expectings sweet I guess, and this wasn't it.

★★★★☆

I received this tea sample as a freebie. I like almond flavor anything and this tea was quite nice. But I think you need to like almond in order to enjoy this tea. (My daughter did not like the flavor intensity.)

★★★★★

Such a unique tea! The smell is very strong, but the tea has a very light, pleasant taste.

★★★★☆

Great with Chinese, great to curl up with. My boyfriend and I both liked it

Has an odd flavor that doesn't taste like almonds at all.

★★★★★

The almond flavor is fabulous. Enough said.

(Except that the minimum character requirement is greater than what I initially wrote.)

★★★★☆

Smells wonderful and was nice and light. Typically the only oolongs I enjoy are milk oolong, so I may be biased. I would order this again though.

Very almond flavor. Nice hot tea and smells great too.

★★★☆☆

I didn't really like the flavor of this one. I like the fruity flavors but it didn't take very much of this tea to give you the flavor. So if you like the almond flavor this tea is a great buy for the money!

★★★★☆

This was the free sample that we received with our order, and we were very pleasantly surprised! Definitely not a tea I might have naturally been inclined to order, but quite tasty upon trying it. Definitely a strong almond flavor, and it tasted smooth and almost creamy.

★★★★★

This is my new favorite tea. It is so mild and has a wonderful flavor. This is a definite re-order.

★★★★★

This tea is really nice. I found a tea, once-upon-a-time called almond biscotti, which was one of my absolute favorites and a staple in the tea cabinet... then they stopped making it. I have been on an almond tea quest since. This one comes close with its very almond notes. I will most likely order it again.

★★★★☆

Pleasant, mild tea. This can be brewed alone or mixed with other blends (which we often do) to provide a more nutty (Amaretto-y) flavor.

★★★★☆

I opened the bag and it smelled overwhelmingly like almond extract, but I rather enjoy the tea hot with a bit of sugar or honey. A lovely dessert tea for the evenings. I find it excellent with some biscotti or chocolate covered almonds. It has a wonderful aftertaste. this is a tea worth savoring slowly with something to nibble on. The food enhances the flavor, otherwise I'd tire of it. Still, I can only enjoy if for only one cup at a time. A very good tea.

★★★★★

I got a sample of Almond Oolong and my husband loves it. The almond is very mild, providing a subtle treat for those special moments.

He still loves this tea!

This one is great to blend with an herbal tea to give it a nutty finish,.

★★★★★

I liked it alot. The nuttyness was really good and jyst overall a good oolong tea

★★★☆☆

The site was not kidding about that marzipan taste! This is a good tea for sure and does what is advertized. It is just a little too sweet for me.

★★★★★

The almond flavor is much stronger than the oolong, so if you're in it for an oolong flavor, go with the Jade Oolong instead. This makes a fairly sweet tea, so if that's what you're in the mood for, brew it up!

strong almond flavor. delicious with a splash of milk.

★★★★★

I really liked the flavor. I was never a great fan of Oolong teas before, but after trying 'almond' flavor, I changed my mind. I recommend if anybody wants to try oolong tea.

★★★★★

loved the smell and taste of the amond oolong tea.

I received a free sample of this tea when I purchased other items. It is absolutely delicious. I love oolong and adding almond to it makes it almost like a dessert. Just scrumptious.

★★★★☆

Good afternoon tea with a slight hint of almond flavor.

★★★☆☆

The almond flavor tastes somewhat artificial like almond extract rather that a nutty toasted flavor.

★★★★★

Adagio's almond black tea is the best flavored tea they make. This is that, but oolong.

★★★★☆

Oolong kind of overwhelmed the almond flavor in this one. I liked it, but I think I like almond and ceylon better.
