This is an interesting tea. I've always enjoyed oolong, and the almond here make the oolong even more toasty. I'd recommend this tea, though I wouldn't want to drink it all the time.
Savory almond with Taiwan oolong tea. Smooth, nutty aroma, full and rounded body, sweet marzipan flavor.

This is an interesting tea. I've always enjoyed oolong, and the almond here make the oolong even more toasty. I'd recommend this tea, though I wouldn't want to drink it all the time.
The almond oolong was smooth, and slightly sweet because of the almond. I enjoyed it very much.
I think this has to be my favorite of all Adagio teas. I wanted to try it because another review said it tasted like Marzipan, and I was not disappointed. I especially love to mix it with Honeybush Hazelnut
Love this tea, great nutty flavor. I like it best alone without milk or sugar.
had a nice light flavor, good for a afternoon tea or evening tea, seems to settle my stomach
The flavor was not over the top. It was subtle. I like this one best.
This is better than any almond-spice tea I've ever had!
I tried this because of the Enchanted Tea in the Lord of the Rings tea set. It's a delicious tea, and is great for every day. I like it with a touch of honey and a piece of orange rind for a nice, sweet treat!
I really enjoy this tea, it's not nearly as strong with the almond flavor as it smells.
A comforting tea for a cold day. One of my favorite teas so far
Not really my cup o' tea, upon opening the bag the flavoring smell is overpowering, once brewed it settled down. I'm not a big fan of flavored things in life, I like most things natural so even though I'm sure the tea base underneath it all is wonderful, the flavoring steers me away from this one. Great tea though, will definitely finish the cup but will probably donate the bag to a friend into flavored teas.
this tea has great taste without being overbearing
I really like this tea! I wasn't sure I would because I'm not always a fan of almond flavors but this is delicious! Very aromatic! Not too strong or overbearing either. A delicious cup for sure =)
got this as a sample, but i would order it again. perfect with almond milk tea in the mornings.
Another yummy almond tea. I have found I love the nutty teas!
This is a strange, interesting tea. When brewed, the smell is really lovely-that typical, enticing, particular-to-almond aroma. The taste left on the tongue is also that sort of sweet, light flavor we associate with almond. At first sip however, the flavor tasted artificial and processed. Mind you, the taste did grow on me, and bear in mind I have not yet tried this with any sort of cream or sweetener.
So, interesting.
Not bad. Slightly bitter aftertaste - I'm guessing from almond flavoring. Not sure I will purchase again, but will drink what I currently have.
I got this as a sample in an order where I ordered several other teas and as soon as I had a cup, I pretty much wanted to make another order to get more of this one. Absolutely love the almond tones in the tea, which get stronger the longer you steep it. If you want less almond, more oolong, steep it for less time or at a lower temperature.
One of my absolute favorite teas!! The almond flavor is smooth and perfect.
It's okay to try if you're curious. This is not a cup I would have regularly, but maybe once in a while just to have something different.
One of the best almond flavored teas I have tried.
I always get one of these as my freebie for posting my order to facebook like clockwork. It's very pleasant and mild, and good for a midday cup of tea.
I wouldn't have put the two flavors together, but it is actually quite nice. The taste grows on you.
Weak tea, hardly any almond flavor. I would not recommend this tea.
Very interesting tea. The almond taste is overpowering.
One of my favorite teas. Excellent on its own or mixed with another tea. I like to mix it with vanilla oolong. Wonderful flavor!
decent cup of tea. Less almondy than I would have liked.
Punched in the nose by marzipan is a pretty apt description for this tea when first opening the bag. The smell remains even through brewing, and the tea itself has a very distinct and noticeable marzipan flavor. Not being terribly familiar with oolong teas I'm not the best judge of them, but this tastes quite nice to me. Hardly needs sweetening, more like a dessert tea than anything.
I imagine this would be better for blending with other teas. On it's own, however, it is still good. The almond flavor is present but not overwhelming. I was worried that the wonderful aroma would be only that: a scent. But I was glad to find that the flavor/scent did not disappear once brewed. I'd definitely like to try this with something vanilla.
This was a nice afternoon tea. It was not too strong and perfectly acceptable, it just probably won't go into our regular rotation.
I just did not like the flavor at all. I like oolong tea but this isn't the one for me.
Smells and tastes a lot like marzipan, if you're into that. Not overpowering, but still tasty.
Slightly sweet, nutty, and smooth. Oolong is not usually my go-to, but this is good!
This is a light oolong with a mild nutty afterglow.
The smell of this tea before steeping is amazing. It's a nice sweet almond scent that any almond lover will appreciate. Once steeped it makes a lovely cup of tea. I added a scant teaspoon of sugar to my teapot, and it was just enough for me. I ordered the sample this time, but I'll be getting the big bag with my next order!
The smell is very powerful, and the taste is just perfect.
One of my favorites. The taste is smooth, the smell is welcoming and I enjoy drinking this tea each morning with my breakfast.
Do not care for the flavor alone. Mixed with gyokuro and was better
Almond oolong is a flavorful tea. Sometimes I'll blend it with vanilla green to mellow it out a little. Other times I'll have it on its own. It is a versatile tea!
Almond oolong has been on my list for some time, and I love the sweet nutty flavor, a slight cherry taste. Can't get much better than that!
I adore this tea. In my opinion, it's vastly superior to Adagio's black tea version. the oolong just compliments the almond flavor so exceptionally well. It smells and tastes quite a bit like marzipan, which is a favorite treat of mine!
First steep leaves a nutty almond extract flavor thats strong and rich. Second steep is enjoyably tamed and most enjoyable. A good evening/dessert tea.
this is not one of my favorites. It was a free sample. I prefer tea bags over loose tea.
Very smooth and delightful, I love almonds and oolong teas and this seemed like the perfect tea for me. I enjoy this on a daily basis!
Has a great almond flavor. Sometimes I mix it with my Blackberry tea for a great new flavor.
This tea smells like tobacco and cherries, and has a cherry aftertaste when it's hot. I prefer it iced. It tastes like cream soda when it's iced, and is a favorite in my household all year long.
You can absolutely smell the almond once you open the bag, the fragrance reminds me of a good bar of marzipan. In the mouth there's not much nutty flavor but the tea is nice and mild and once swallowed the almond comes through as a nice aftertaste.
It was a little different than any I had tasted but I enjoyed it. It really has a taste all its own
This is a really delicious tea. Pleasant, not overpowering. Nice pick me up.
This might be my new favorite tea! I don't really like almonds, but as a tea they somehow have a magical flavor. Excellent any day.
