Very good tea. Has a definite smell of Almond, but the taste of it is not overpowering. It almost has a roasty mouthfeel, like you get from chicory or like subtle coffee.
I tried it mixed with some of my favorites, and found it a very good mixer also

I decided to have this tea with a splash of oat milk, as nutty teas generelly mix well with it. Also, this seems to be on the darker side of oolong. The tea indeed smells nutty and almond-like. (I had a few raw almonds to compare 😄) It tastes like marzipan! I didn't expect that. 😄

Not the strongest of almond flavor for me personally, I tried brewing at the directed temp and time and I tried again with a longer temp and it just never tasted like what I would expect an almond oolong to taste like.

★★★★★

The almond flavor pairs great with the oolong and isn't overpowering. It reminds me of marzipan and it is great as a milk tea!

For me, this tea can't go wrong. It's comprised of two of my favorite things, oolong, and almond! And trust me, it delivers on both. The scent when opening the bag is a sweet, nutty, almond smell which mellows into a more earthy scent after brewing. The flavor I can only describe as 'comforting' somewhere between earthy and sweet. I suppose if Cottagecore had a flavor, this tea would be it!

A nice tea with an amazing aroma. I like the smell even better than the flavor. Added a touch of honey and it rounded it out nicely.

Delicious almond smell and taste without being overpowering.

In the bag, this tea has an almond smell but I don't think it's overpowering. After steeping at the recommended temperature for the recommended time, the almond smell is still there but it's I know it's still a black tea. Without sweetener, I taste the almond but also some bitterness. It's fine, but with about 1/4 tsp or a 1/2 tsp of sugar, I'm a pretty happy camper. I might order this again, but suffice it to say, it was a worthwhile one to try.

I'm not a huge oolong fan so I might not be the best to review this, but I was expecting a little bit more 'almond' than oolong.

★★★★★

Smells very strong but the flavor isn’t overwhelming, also was great with added dried lavender.

Such a warm creamy tea. Really love it. Bought a small sample pouch cause I'm mostly a Chai lover. I will get more!

★★★★★

Great tea, almond flavor is just right, not to overbearing.

Very good taste, not bitter. Definitely not your typical tea, but definitely recommend.

I was really looking forward to loving this tea, but it wasn't exactly what I expected. I think I'm a green oolong fan more than a black oolong fan. It is only my personal choice though. For black oolong fans this will be a fantastic blend of the bright and creamy flavor of the almond slightly shimmering over the taste of a black oolong backdrop.

I do love my oolongs, and this is no exception. Almond is a good choice for those who enjoy flavored teas, because it doesn't overpower the tea itself. The aroma reminds me of marzipan (another favorite) and a very small amount of cane sugar helps bring out the oolong's natural flavor. A lovely tea.

This is a nice, easy tea to make with a nice nutty flavor. Perfect for any almond lover! It also blends well with other teas.

Delightful cup , smooth and nice almond flavor. I like to mix it with cherry or coconut.

Almond oolong tea isn’t bad but I prefer pure oolong

Consistently good. Love the smell and subtle taste of almond.

When opening the package you're really hit with a strong sweet almond smell I couldn't really detect the oolong at all. After steeping however the smell seemed to settle a bit and while almond is still the main scent I could smell the oolong. I didn't really expect to like this tea and only tried it after hearing several others mention it. The almond gives it an almost sweet taste with the undertone being oolong. Overall I liked it far more than I anticipated! I drank it with little biscoff cookies that had vanilla cream in them and the combo was heavenly. I think this would go great with vanilla deserts and it's delicious by itself as well.

I feel the almond flavor is very subtle, definitely not over powering. So much so that a splash of milk overpowers the flavor.

Have it with a small portion of sugar for a real treat. This being said, however, the flavor seems lacking without the added sweetener. I believe this is due to the incredibly strong marzipan smell. Even though it is not explicitly a dessert tea, I believe that treating it as such will aid you in making the best cup of this tea.

The almond smell is strong when you open the bag. It made me think of Kringle. Once brewed the smell was still there and the flavor was wonderful. I did steep for the full 5 minutes to get a stronger flavor.

The aroma of sweet almonds reached me as I opened my packet. Once brewed, the sweet and nutty flavor of almond with is marzipan notes is a match made in heaven for the complex flavor of the oolong with its crip nutty notes and fruity and slightly sweet taste. The result is a creamy, sweet marzipan cup that is lovely.

Sooo delicious, a lovely strong almond flavor that has a more forgiving brew than a black tea, but still has a robust flavor.

★★★★★

I love this tea. It's perfect for winter, with a rich flavor both in taste and smell. For almond-lovers, it's a great choice and gives the perfect afternoon caffeine kick. One of my faves.

★★★★☆

I'm not usually one for the normal flavored teas, but I've got a weakness for this one. The almond flavor really pairs well with the oolong base.

Sweet start to my day. I make the best almond shortbread cookies that I love to eat with this one. If you have a sweet tooth I highly recommend!

Everything you could want from an almond flavored tea. Tastes slightly sweet and of toasted almonds.

I thought I might notice the almond flavor more with this than the black almond tea but I actually enjoyed the black almond tea more.

My favorite oolong mix, with a nice touch of almonds (if you love marzipan you will love this one)! Very light and earthy flavor.

It tastes like delicious oolong plus a dry, papery-taste. It doesn't really remind me of almonds. It's not bad, it just can't compare with the other amazing teas on this site.

ADDED: It's pretty good if you add some vanilla extract to it!

★★★★☆

I'm not sure if I steeped this long enough, the flavor isn't quite as full-bodied as I expected. It's still a good tea with a good mix of nuttiness and the slight musky flavor of the oolong. I'll try using a little more tea in my next cup and steeping for a little longer too.

★★★★★

One of my favorite teas. It goes perfectly with almond milk and honey.

I like this one. At first sip, the almond flavor almost comes across too strong, but it seems to mellow further into the cup. It holds up really well to re-steeps, too. Great if you’re in the mood for a bold tea.

June 8, 2023 Well, my tastebuds haven't changed in a month, but I did run out of this tea and must order more. Still a favorite. I primarily blend with it, but I drink it solo from time to time too.
May 11, 2023 On its own its very good, blended with other teas its even better. This will remain in my tea pantry.

This is definitely one of my favourite teas of adagio - a lovely, oxidized oolong with a warm, nutty flavour.

Not a fan of nuts but a fan of the taste of nuts (or stone fruit impersonating nuts) This is good tea. No complaints at all.

This is really nice for fall. Earthy and nutty. The almond plays well with the oolong and it was warm and comforting. Steeped 4 mins @ 190°

A pretty good oolong tea. It had a strong marzipan smell. I felt like the nuttiness tasted a little artificial, but not unpleasant

This is one of my favorite flavored oolong teas. I usually enjoy it black, but just tried it as a latte with a touch of sugar and vanilla syrup for a change. The smoky, earthy oolong tones and almond flavor were still very much present, enhanced by the sweet creaminess.

This is a fantastic tea that I moreso love it--as a supporting character, in blends. Rather than enjoying it in the spotlight giving that almond/cherry-estic soliloquy upon the palate. 5🌟's for being a magnificent co-star.
