This is the best matcha I've had so far. This makes a cup of matcha with a great balance of very little bitterness and sweetness.
Only the finest, young, shade-grown gyokuro tea leaves are used to create matcha. The leaves are plucked and laid out flat to dry. Veins are removed and the leaves, now called tencha, are carefully ground in granite mills until they become the precious powder.

I happened into the store and the staff was sampling this matcha. I tried it and liked it!
This is a good matcha. There are others that I better but nearly twice the cost. Try it iced.
I bought the masters collection matcha tea tin and you can really taste the quality in the flavor. it might seem a little bit pricey but is totally worth it. So much different than other matcha teas I have bought in the past. will definitely buy another can of it.
I have had a few different types of matcha. Some from teavana, some from little Korean stores, some here and there. Uji is by far the best matcha that I have ever had, and it was the key to me quitting coffee. I would get such bad caffeine headaches, and now I can go as long as I need without matcha and still no headache, but I somehow still feel great. I'll never have a house without Uji matcha in it.
This is my favorite tea! I was able to quit drinking coffee with this
I drink this everyday! The flavor is great and I feel better since I started drinking it!
This is by far my favorite tea (along with Ti Kuan Yin)! It's rich, creamy, and full of flavor! I especially enjoy it with just a pinch of sugar and the Green Rooibos Key West! I went to Adagio to try out a different type of matcha since I'm running low on mine, but I ended up buying the Uji Matcha again since it's so good! Amazing health benefits and great taste! Definitely worth every penny.
I enjoy drinking matcha almost every day. I'm not sure Uji matcha is worth the price tag unfortunately. The flavor was very smooth, but not much better than the cheaper versions of matcha sold at Adagio. Plus the containers themselves are strange because they are not sealed when you buy them. Anyone could have opened the container I bought and dumped the matcha out or put something else in there for all I know. Moreover, I know that I am the first person to open the container when I break the seal myself. Adagio could easily put a sticker over the joint where the lid meets the base of the container to remedy this issue.
My first time experiencing Matcha. It is definitely different from other teas. I've never had Matcha before so I don't know what to compare it to. I got it for all the health benefits, not for the taste.
Great green tea. You feel like you are at a tea ceremony.
same as their regular Matcha, even same tin. Not worth extra $
I expected nothing less than an amazing experience with a ceremonial grade matcha, and this did not disappoint. I may not select it again due to the expense and my amateur palate, but for matcha lovers everywhere, this is the real deal.
