Lots of energy and very smooth! Wont purchase from anywhere else! yum!
Only the finest, young, shade-grown gyokuro tea leaves are used to create matcha. The leaves are plucked and laid out flat to dry. Veins are removed and the leaves, now called tencha, are carefully ground in granite mills until they become the precious powder.

Lots of energy and very smooth! Wont purchase from anywhere else! yum!
I like this. I'm not sure if I love it. I might need more practice & adjusting the temp & time. Interesting & intriguing. Will come back to edit if I make up my mind. I'm dropping my review from good to OK. I tired of this quickly & can't see myself reordering.
This is a Good tea. I will be ordering it again.
This was my least favorite of the flavored matchas I've tried. It's not bad, but it's a little more candy-like/artificial than the blueberry or peach.
This is so good, just enough raspberry to sweeten the matcha, but not too overwhelming. And the matcha froths really well!
The raspberry is a little faint, but definitely still good!
Love this matcha tea. It's not overpowering raspberry but it goes great with the bitter taste of the matcha. Def my favorite
As a Tea lover and foodie I feel like it is my responsibility to inform readers that I am not a huge Matcha fan. With that being said Matcha has great nutritional benefits and I am in pursuit of a Matcha that I could drink every day. Although you can tell that the Matcha tea provided by Adagio tea is of decent quality, my raspberry expectation simply fell short. I was expecting more of a berry flavor to mask that overpowering grassy flavor. My recommendation is that although I do not plan to reorder this tea, I believe that it is worth trying if you are a Matcha lover.
I can’t taste the raspberry in this, but the matcha is tasty and good quality, so I’m going to enjoy drinking my sample anyway.
Really delicious tea! I love making matcha milk teas with this.
The powder form was a little hard to get used to. I don't think i would have liked it without the raspberry flavor, it saved it.
My first matcha without a lot of added sugar. Very flavorful.
I love all the matcha fruity flavors but raspberry is one of my faves
Surprisingly good! Not usually a big raspberry fan but this one hits it out of the park!
Delicious! Raspberry flavor is a bit weak but overall a nice matcha.
Matcha Raspberry is my favorite Matcha tea. With subtle hints of raspberry it's the perfect tea for summer.
I drink matcha almost every day now and I like to keep the Blueberry and this Raspberry on hand at all times. Both are amazing. I use 165 degrees F water for all my matcha. The tins this comes in are also super cute and convenient.
I have never tried to make matcha tea myself so this was definitely a fun experience but it was fantastic! I really enjoy this!
The other reviewers convinced me to give this a try and I m so glad I did. It s just the perfect amount of sweet to enhance the matcha taste. The raspberry is just barely there but that s what makes it so perfect.
bitter and grassy, pretty gross... can't taste the raspberry at all
I bought this to make banana nice cream. It really added a nice flavor to it, although in this instance the raspberry wasn t as strong as I was hoping.
This tastes exactly like the regular, non-flavored matcha. The only difference that I can find between this raspberry flavor and the non-flavored version is a faint difference in the scent. The regular matcha tastes fantastic so I can't really give this tea too low a rating. Minus one star for the lack of raspberry flavor. Plus 4 stars for still tasting delicious.
I have Matcha for those days, you know, those I ate way too many bad foods this week, I need something to, ahem, empty me out days. I love that adagio has flavored Matcha now. Raspberry may be my favorite. My sister makes it with the recommended tools and such, I however am super lazy and just whisk it with a fork. Lately I ve been drinking it cold by brewing it with a bit of hot water but then mixing it into my dark chocolate almond milk/coconut water drink I have in the morning. The nice thing about Matcha is you can use it so many ways!
I've really enjoyed my samples of Adagio's flavored Matchas. Blueberry was my favorite and this is a close second. As other reviewers have said, the flavor is more of a scent than a taste, and the same is true with this Matcha Raspberry. I have been preparing it in the traditional Japanese tea ceremony style, and it's fantastic. The packaging could be improved upon as it's difficult to seal closed, especially when the matcha gets in the zip-loc closer apparatus thingamjiggy. I think I'll try this with cold water and maybe the raspberry flavor will be more pronounced.
I enjoyed this. Not a lot of raspberry but good. :)
It was good. If you like Matcha and Raspberries this tea is perfect for you. It tastes like traditional Matcha with an aftertaste of raspberry that lingers delightfully.
I'm quite fond of matcha, but the raspberry flavor in this is so weak I can't really even taste it. I can smell it, faintly, but I'm pretty disappointed at how weak it is. I might just opt to buy plain matcha and flavor it myself instead.
Very fine, well blended powder. Great for adding to smoothies in small amounts.
the verdict is still out on this one. I tried 2 cups and wasn t a big fan. i am going to try seeping it a little less next time.
I mainly use the matcha in smoothies and lattes in the morning for a morning pick me up. I absolutely love this. Adds a nice subtle fruity flavor to my lattes.
Fruity, not too sweet. Great in a smoothie too! ❤️❤️
Possibly tied for first place with blueberry matcha. Love it so much!
I was very pleasantly surprised by this one -- I've been practicing Japanese tea ceremony for almost 15 years now, so my opinions of matcha are pretty strict, overall. (Hint, warm your bowl with the just-boiled water and let the tea whisk tines soften in that water. By the time you've emptied the bowl and wiped it dry, the water will have cooled enough to whisk.) The last time I tried a flavored matcha (not an Adagio brand), it was like drinking the ash from a Vegas ashtray - NASTY. So I used some points this time to redeem for this, because I didn't really want to spend much money on what might be a losing gamble!
The matcha itself is mild - a little more bitter than some Japanese brands (Aiya Sai Jo En, for example), but not bad at all. The raspberry 'flavor' is really more of a mild aroma than anything - I can't taste any additional sweetness or non-matcha notes when I drink this. Overall, a fun treat to add into my matcha rotation [when my teacher isn't watching ;) ] I whisk it up the same way I would my usual matchas - two chashaku scoops into a bowl, about 1/3 cup recently-boiled water, and whisk lightly (don't use any pressure on the bottom of the bowl or you'll be drinking bamboo pieces). It froths well and isn't clumpy.
With first sips it seemed to have more raspberry taste to it, for some reason it tasted like regular matcha after that, maybe I just got used to? It didn t happen with blueberry or peach matcha though, must try it again.
Not a bad flavored matcha. The raspberry fragrance is strong however I was expecting the flavor to be strong also. It was on the light side for me. I still liked it.
I enjoy the health benefits of matcha tea in general and this is a good quality matcha, but I just didn't notice the raspberry flavor.
Extremely grassy in the best way possible. Raspberry is subtle but noticeable.
This tea is delicious! I like Matcha some. It's not my favorite, but I drink it occasionally. This, however, will be a regular tea in my cup.
My 3rd favorite matcha. The raspberry is so subtle I really can't taste it at all, but the matcha is still very good.
I love this so much I ordered a full pound. The raspberry flavor is very noticeable but not overwhelming, and the matcha base is the same as Adagio's other high quality matchas.
I am into these flavored matchas, since I am not a hardcore matcha fan and need a little flavor to convince me. I like it hot and cold!
Very good matcha. Just adds a slight sweetness from the raspberry.
Great way to start the day! Clears the head and gives good energy!
I'm addicted. I love this matcha it's really high quality and I actually love that the raspberry is a nice light flavor without being too weak or strong. I've been making lots of matcha lattes with this and they're amazing. I'd be buying this all the time if it wasn't so expensive!
This is THE best matcha and possibly the best tea I have ever had. The flavor is phenomenal, and unique, and not overpowering. I absolutely love this
I add it to my chocolate milk and it's really good!
Love this... smells like raspberry but the taste isn't much different that normal matcha. Like my tin so much i came back for the 16 oz to keep refilling my tin at a lower cost.
This tea is delicious. I love it added to my smoothies in the morning as well as a tea.
Absolutely wonderful..my go to matcha. The raspberry is like another viewer said, more of a scent than flavor, which makes it all the better for me since I rarely drink flavored teas.
I wasn't quite sure what to think at first - the smell when you open the canister is quite pronounced. But the fruityness wasn't overwhelming at all - it just added a hint of flavor.
That being said, by the time I finished this tin I couldn't really smell/taste it anymore, so maybe this is one of those things you need to mix up in order to not get too used to it?
