Matcha Peach Customer Reviews

Only the finest, young, shade-grown gyokuro tea leaves are used to create matcha. The leaves are plucked and laid out flat to dry. Veins are removed and the leaves, now called tencha, are carefully ground in granite mills until they become the precious powder.

★★★☆☆

I tried this iced and hot. I didn't like the taste of either. It tasted very earthy with a weird peach aftet taste.

★★★★★

When my shipment first arrived this was missing. However, they had emailed me to make sure it had arrived. When I told them that this peach matcha was missing, they sent it to me forthwith and it arrived within three days. I decided to try this because it is peach flavored and I love matcha. It does not disappoint. However, I do mix this with milk and have it iced instead of hot.

I didn't like this one bit. But I may not be a matcha fan. It was quite bitter to me. I will try it one more time, but I was not a fan first time around.

★★★★★

Bought this to make green tea lattes. The peach flavor offsets the bitterness of the matcha. I enjoyed it greatly.

I liked this. It was my first matcha experience and although the process of making matcha is a little more in depth than regular tea I have gotten used to it and I love it.

★★★☆☆

Nice blend, it is very pleasing to the taste buds.

As I have yet to purchase the whisk, I still experience minor clumps and the tea does not stay suspended in the liquid. A rather unappealing sludge collects at the bottom if you only use a fork, say. But the tea itself is flavorful. It's good for what it is. Tastes mostly of the color green, with a hint of peach.

Excellent flavor! Smooth grassy start that finishes with a crisp, fresh lingering peach flavor.

This is my favorite of the matcha samples I tried. The peach flavor comes through just enough to drink without sweetener.

I love this stuff, bar none. Coffee always tends to be hit or miss with me, but the caffeine in this was perfect to keep me going later in the evening. The flavor is great and it brews up just right hot or done up iced. Really good.

★★★★★

Very good taste and you cannot go wrong with this tea if you like matcha tea.

★★★★★

Very good quality with a subtle peach flavor. None of the fake fruit taste found in some matchas.

★★★★☆

Tasty with a subtle hint of peach. Follow the recommended amounts. I made aced tea with this matcha and as the ice melted, the peach flavor began to taste very artificial.

★★★★★

Great flavor can taste the peach. I really hearty cup.

★★★★★

Absolutely wonderful. This is the first time I have tried Matcha and I LOVE it. It is very creamy and the flavor is amazing.

★★★★★

Taste like peaches and oats. Color of the powder is a the lovely green as it should be. I love it. The flavor adds sweetness normally I would say you should never add anything to Matcha but this changes my mind.

As someone who has had both unflavored and flavored matcha in the past, I was skeptical about weather this would be good or not. I tend to usually prefer the plain as the flavor is usually consistent and the quality isn't lost through poor flavoring. Most of the flavored matchas I have had in the past tend to all taste similar. This one was different. So far I have only prepared it hot, but I think it would be just as good over ice. The peach flavoring isn't overly strong, but it is evident and adds a nice touch to the 'greenness' of the matcha. For someone who has tried a variety of flavored matcha, this is easily the best tasting and the best quality. I'm looking forward to trying adagio's other flavored matchas and I will repurchase this in the future.

This is not my first foray into matcha or flavored matcha. My typical frown on flavored matcha is that it often has sugar added in addition to the flavoring which turns it an icky brownish color and that's a huge turn-off for me. HOWEVER, that is not the case with Adagio's flavored matchas, at least not with the three I've purchased samples of (peach, raspberry, and cinnamon apple.) Fortunately, there isn't any visible sugar added so I was able to easily prepare it with a traditional sieve and whisking method for a frothy cup. The peach isn't strong, but I prefer it that way and a dollop of honey made it that much better. I can't wait to try the other two, but I'm definitely going to purchase more peach in the future. I also plan to try this one iced, which has me excited because every time I order my matcha with peach at coffee shops, the syrup makes it brown, but that won't be the case here!
