First of all, I don't drink Matcha for the taste. It just makes me feel so much better than coffee! The cinnamon apple is very subtle. I can more smell than taste it. It's good, but I will probably just purchase the plain Matcha in the future.
Only the finest, young, shade-grown gyokuro tea leaves are used to create matcha. The leaves are plucked and laid out flat to dry. Veins are removed and the leaves, now called tencha, are carefully ground in granite mills until they become the precious powder.

It's hard to write a bad review considering the great flavor of the Matcha itself. However, with respect to the other flavored varieties available this one seemed only adequate. While I did get tiny notes of cinnamon, I was hard pressed to detect any apple. Perfectly drinkable, just not excellent.
Adagio matcha is very good. This was the first time getting one of their flavored matchas and it didn't disappoint.
I couldn t taste the cinnamon apple flavours but it tastes great
I love Matcha, this flavor is more Cinnamon than Apple but I love it!
If you like Matcha teas and cinnamon apple then this matcha is a tea to try.
if you have never had matcha tea this is a good place to start. the aroma is wonderful and the tastes just warms you up from the inside out.
This just takes like regular matcha. Granted, the regular matcha is delicious, so no harm, no foul, really. Especially since it's all the same price. But there was no flavor difference that I could detect.
I found that this makes a great breakfast smoothie. It adds a nice kick to oatmeal too!
I get this mainly for it s healing properties. Really doesn t taste that great but add another tea like berries with some lemon and sugar and you can get a good taste. Great to ward off an oncoming cold
tried this out in an orange juice it has a good taste but wish it would be stronger in flavour.
The flavors of the green tea, apple and cinnamon mix well. I will definitely be getting more when I run out!
This is my favorite matcha flavor! The cinnamon apple taste is faint at first, but is present in the aftertaste. I love it!
I am not sure if I got a mislabeled bag. I bought the sample size. I smelled no apple or cinnamon. I tasted no apple or cinnamon. Other people have reviewed that even if they could not taste it they could smell it. I got neither. I honestly think my bag was mislabeled as cinnamon apple but was just a plain matcha. As for regular matcha - it tasted good. I like to drink them as iced matcha's in the summertime. The flavor was nice (if it was regular) and not too grassy tasting.
I really didn't care for this at all despite all the health benefits. I am going to attempt mixing it with fruits in a smoothie and hope for the best.
Once I figured out the correct tea/water ratio, I really enjoyed this. The flavor is noticeable, without being overwhelming. I will order more of this.
Not a big fan of this matcha. Like all the other flavored matchas, the cinnamon apple flavor is not very strong. It turns bitter quite easily so you have to be careful when making some tea.
Just an 'ok' experience. The flavor was underwhelming, and the matcha taste verged on bitter.
This is very good stuff. Slightly grassy but not in a bad way. More in a refreshing way, with a strong hint of apples. Could use a bit more cinnamon (again, as I've said in other reviews, I wish Adagio would explore better cinnamon varieties.) but I enjoyed this tea. I look forward to trying the other varieties.
Good matcha flavor but I didn't taste too much cinnamon or apple in the sample I received. Tried it with a few different sweeteners, more matcha, less matcha. Couldn't quite get it.
Matcha Peach will always remain my favorite, but this Cinnamon Apple runs a close second. Excellent as a tea latte in the morning. The apple comes through much more than the cinnamon.
It s depressing how good this is given the price for good matcha. Like, my soul aches with each sip in the pure bliss that washes over me. I m a matcha enthusiast as well as loving apple cinnamon anything, so this is truly heavenly.
I love matcha tea, so I thought apple cinnamon would be a great flavor enhancement. Sadly, the flavor is so subtle it’s nearly impossible to taste. The aroma opening the canister is lovely though extremely light. That should have been an indication of the lack of flavor to come. I rate this 3 stars because it’s good matcha, but does not live up to the flavor as advertised.
I'm not much of a matcha fan, but his is a decent matcha tea. The only bummer is that the cinnamon apple flavor is very light and almost unnoticeable.
You might need to have acquired the taste for matcha to like this well. I m sensitive to bitter so I detect it here, as in a lot of green, leafy things. Definitely needed sweetener to cut that. I use one of those battery operated whisks in it.
Before making the tea I can smell a little bit of the apple cinnamon flavor but I really can't taste anything distinctly apple cinnamon unless I pay attention a whole lot. Good matcha but If I want a flavored one I will go with peach or something.
Still playing with how to make matcha, it's my first attempt, but it was pretty good. Not perfect, but I'm still learning.
I mainly use the matcha in smoothies and lattes in the morning for a morning pick me up. I absolutely love this. Sadly, this does not taste any different than the regular matcha. I could not really taste the apple or cinnamon. Still a very tasty matcha.
I really enjoyed this! although it was kind of annoying that soon as I opened the bag, it spilled all over me. Next time I will get a tin. I made this as a latte with around 6 scoops of matcha powder using a matcha spoon (1/2 tsp each), around 3 tsp of sugar, and around a half cup to a cup of hot water. Then I poured that mixture into a 16 oz mug and topped it off with hot milk and a dollop of agave. It was perfect! But NEEDS sweetener!
I add a little sweetener and vanilla almond milk and this is so good!
This is my fall season matcha! It gets me going every morning!
Pretty good! I like the peach the best but this one is nice for autumn.
Third Adagio Matcha I've tried and it's 3 for 3. Love the aroma of this one as it evolves and unfolds inside the cup.
i enjoy the taste of the cinnamon apple in every sip
This tea has a hint of apple flavoring that is sooo good.
Subtle cinnamon flavor, this matcha is very smooth and creamy, with no bitterness.
Very different tasting. Was supposed to help my metabolism, but I haven't seen any difference.
I'm sure it's good if you like matcha but I discovered it's just too strong for my taste.
I think the cinnamon apple flavor works really well with the matcha
The apple cinnamon is very subtle, just enough to add and not take away from the matcha its self.
This is very good matcha, in my opinion. It's a pretty bright green color, and the cinnamon apple flavor is very subtle. I made this into a latte and added a bit of vanilla stevia, as that's how I normally drink my matcha. It's better than the stuff I had before (not from adagio) by far. Much brighter in color and less bitter.
Tasty. I like to put a scoop in a smoothie for an extra caffeine boost in the morning.
I Love how the cinnamon apple hides the matcha strong green tea taste so well. Very surprised it did this so well.
I love the cinnamon apple flavoring in this, I never had flavored matcha before but this tastes nice, its very good in the fall
Drink it first thing in the morning. Want to try the peach next
AFTER 3 days of drinking this tea, my energy level and mood was off the charts! Love it. I drink it everyday.
Just ok. Decided I don't care for flavored Macha. Wouldn't reorder.
Not for me sadly. I don't think I prepared it right though.
This was my first matcha! I originally came to buy the plain matcha, but the sample was sold out. So I got this instead.
It's very strong! I highly recommend steeping at a lower-than-recommended temperature. Otherwise, it gets VERY oceanic and seaweedy. Also, being as western as I am, I enjoy this as a latte way more than by itself. When given milk and a little stevia, this turns into a lovely treat that is reminicent of Apple Jacks. I recommend it, especially if you're new to matcha.
It's powder has that strong smell of apples and cinnamon, when brewed it is a nice sweet cinnamon apple. The flavor holds up to the matcha.
