We love all the matchas from Adagio, and this is our favorite. It's shocking how good it is.
Only the finest, young, shade-grown gyokuro tea leaves are used to create matcha. The leaves are plucked and laid out flat to dry. Veins are removed and the leaves, now called tencha, are carefully ground in granite mills until they become the precious powder.

The flavor of the matcha blueberry is fantastic. I definitely recommend that you try this as a latte (steamed milk + hint of sugar + matcha). My only word of warning is that you are essentially purchasing a powder - the sample packet is a little difficult to work with if your goal is to keep your kitchen counter clean. ;)
This tea is okay. Doesn't have as much blueberry flavor as I expected or hoped for. Definitely like the chocolate better
The flavor in this is very subtle, I think. If I didn't already know that this was blueberry matcha, I probably wouldn't be able to tell. It just has a hint of a little something extra. I enjoy it as an alternative to my daily plain matcha latte, and I may buy it again sometime.
light in smell only wish it was stronger in flavour.
This is my first unsweetened matcha. I’ve enjoyed the flavored matcha from David’s tea and really enjoyed them but they are way too sweet for my taste. Besides I felt that may have took away from some of the health benefits of the matcha with all that added sugar. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this tea. It was very creamy and you could taste the flavor of the blueberries. Full disclosure I did make it as a latte and added about a teaspoon of sugar.
I was unsure how I would like this blueberry matcha because I did not enjoy plain matcha. The gentle blueberry flavor and aroma cuts the grassy flavor of the plain matcha and makes an enjoyable cup.
This stuff is awesome hot or iced! I just add a spoonful into my tumbler add filtered cold water, slice lemon and lime, ice and shake, It is delicious!! * * * * *
This is very yummy, has the same nice fresh blueberry taste as the blueberry white I've been drinking for years.
The blueberry flavor is much stronger than the peach but still delicious.
Had a very sweet and tangy taste all the while keeping the tradition of matcha.
The only reason why I didn't give this matcha 5 stars is due to the fact that I love the Uji matcha even more. I really do like this matcha. It is has a smooth, non grassy flavor with just a hint of blueberry finish. It takes me about 30 seconds to make with my matcha bowl and whisk. How's that for instant gratification!
Love this matcha! Sometimes I put it in a chocolate shake and it adds a hint of blueberry to the shake. Sometimes I add it to cashew milk and water with sweetener and a pinch or 2 Himalayan salt, gently warm -- very nice! It does add to my alertness without a caffeine crash
I make this with a matcha whisk then throw it over ice. Delicious!
The blueberry taste is pretty subtle, which makes me happy. We don't want to forget that this is matcha! The light blueberry taste was pleasant, and had me coming back for more.
I’m new to matcha and I just don’t quite get it. Maybe I’m making it wrong. The blueberry smell was heavenly though. I may save matcha teas for adding to smoothies
Trying to get on the matcha train, hoped that a flavor would make it better, butnin still working on it.
I've never had matcha before. However, I added some sweetener and it brought out more of the blueberry flavor. This tea took some warming up to but I enjoy it a lot now.
Absolutely love this Matcha with just a touch of blueberry. I look forward to this each and every morning.
Excellent flavor! Very smooth! The blueberry flavor helps balance the matcha well.
Let me start off by saying I am not a matcha connoisseur. I found this very strong and the blueberry flavor seemed odd. Will pass along to someone else to enjoy.
Yummy matcha tea with nice notes of blueberry that you notice at the end of a sip.
First matcha purchase and it was a good one. Blueberry flavor is very slight, and you want it to be: the matcha itself is front and center w/ sweet, mellow grassyness. Great fun to prepare, love the vibrant green color.
I don't taste the blueberry, but as far as matcha goes, this is a smooth tea with a good flavor.
I like matcha but didn’t really taste blueberry flavor. The raspberry and peach are more flavorful in my opinion.
LOVE THE BLUEBERRY MATCHA THE BEST!! I drink it daily with Vanilla Almond Milk iced and its one of the best Matchas I have ever had!!
It s OK. The blueberry flavor is kind of too sweet. I prefer regular matcha or the chocolate. Maybe it d make a good matcha latte?
Although I’m not a matcha lover, this blueberry matcha gives enough flavor to mask the grassy taste I get when I drink plain matcha. I love this flavor. To speed up whisking/mixing time, use a tiny mesh strainer or even the mesh tea steepers and push or “sift” it through the mesh for a finer powder...saw this at the store being done. It makes whisking much quicker. Small clumping can occur the more matcha is exposed to air, but this little trick eliminates the problem.
I am surprised how much I am enjoying these flavored matcha teas. This entirely about aroma. A good match and a hint of fruit. Lovely.
As a tea it wasn’t my favorite but the subtly hints of blueberry were lovely. I made a majority of the tea into matcha cookies and they were absolutely delicious.
Full of berry flavor!! A tasty addition to my morning breakfast smoothie!
Excellent matcha tea. I love blueberry so this really hit the spot. Excellent used in baking.
The blueberry is more of an aroma than taste, but still wonderful!
I wanted to love this since I always have high praise for the blueberry teas on here. It has a very little bit of blueberry flavor. It s a good matcha, but it doesn t have a ton of flavor. I wouldn t want to drink it straight, however, it does give a whisper of blueberry flavor in a matcha smoothie or green tea lemonade. I enjoyed that very much.
Delicious! I was very surprised by the blueberry flavor.
I KNEW I was going to love this one, and I was right. Just like with the peach, it has enough flavor to compliment the smell and taste of the matcha, but not enough to overpower it. Once I've tried all this flavored matcha, this is one I will probably get again.
This matcha smells more like blueberry than it tastes, but the taste is there. It's light, just a little sweet, but it still tells you that you're drinking matcha. I enjoy a cup of this with breakfast each morning.
I use this in my yogurt smoothies in the morning- it has an earthy taste like all matcha, but add some agave or honey and it balances out very nicely. Add fresh or frozen blueberries to your smoothie plus blueberry yogurt for a blueberry overload. Mmmm.
This is by far my favorite matcha. It has a very subtle hint of blueberry. Smooth & delicious.
Personally, i think this is by far the best of Adagio's flavored matchas. The blueberry is super light, but it blends so well with the matcha flavor.
The best flavored matcha I've had thus far. It's almost like drinking blueberry tea because the matcha's bitterness is super gentle.
I wanted to like this tea so badly. It's not horrible I just do not taste blueberry flavor at all.
Awesome! I am definitely ordering more of this tea
I prepared this blueberry matcha the traditional way and as others have noted, the blueberry is more present in the aroma than in the flavor, but that’s a positive thing, in my opinion. Having a matcha with a super fruity punch would be weird. Matcha is not for everybody as it’s a very pure form of tea, so having this sample is awesome for people to try without commiting a lot of money. The flavor of this matcha was very clean, I really enjoyed it. It’s right on par with any other ceremonial grade matcha that I’ve tried. I plan on trying a few of the other flavored matchas soon!
I LOVE this stuff! It s my first experience with flavored matcha and I can t wait to try the other flavors. There is still a bitter after taste but overall it s really good!
I mixed mine in fruit smoothies and it was delicious! I think I prefer the peach though.
This is so good! The blueberry taste is really natural.
Ordered a sample based on this being the best selling flavor. I was hoping for a natural berry flavor, but it tasted a bit odd to me. Definitely preferred peach.
Great blueberry flavor - makes great lattes! One of my new favorites!
The taste is unexpectedly great. One of the gems in adagio that you cant seem to find elsewhere. Blueberry taste is very subtle so it dosent overpower the matcha. You will love it if you like matcha. My Japanese and Korean friends were very surprised by it but they liked it as well.
