enjoyable and seasonal, add your own dried oranges and/or cranberries too. not convinced apple does anything at all...

This tea was pleasantly tart and spiced but not as complex as I had hoped it would be at first glance of the ingredients. While it's not a bad Christmas-flavored tea, it's just not as great as I had hoped it would be.

Like many have stated, I also get the bubblegum smell upon opening this tea. The orange peels go nice with the cranberry and cinnamon. I do detect a hint of cherries in this blend as well. Overall, a good blend for drinking on a cold winter’s night.

This tea exemplifies the holidays! The aroma is that of a spiced cider or a Wassail or some hot mulled drink. Good sweetened or not, but sweetened brings out the fruity flavors just a bit more, then the spices kick in for a lovely afterglow. Not a tea I would buy for myself, but enjoy giving or receiving as a gift. That's just my weird quirk. This one is lovely, and today is a perfect day for it.

I got the bubblegum that others got, though more in smell than taste. It did smell great, and I was hoping it would live up to them smell. It didn't. I only had one tiny orange peel, so I added a few more, and I still didn't get any orange or cranberry or cinnamon flavors... which were the three promised in the description. I got a spicy burn left on my tongue after each sip, but didn't taste the ginger or cinnamon that put it there. Overall, it tasted fine, but it wasn't different enough from any of the other fruity, herbal blends to stand out. Would I drink it again, sure, but I'm not going to purposefully seek it out. This makes an amazing cup that is perfect for the festive holiday. Sweet with just a touch of spice. Over all a great tea.

If this tea tasted like it smells, I think it would've been more up my alley. Instead, all I really got out of this was kind of a bubblegum-y sort of flavor. I thought at first it might be my CommuniTEA packet but it looks like I'm not alone. Shame, really. I was looking forward to trying this finally.

Perfect balance of fruits and spices; Orangey, cinnamon spice, and cranberry. An ideal herbal for the holidays, caffiene free so you drift off and Santa knows your sleeping. I sampled this Tea as part of the CommuniTEA December box (and Advent Calendar on the same day)

This was a nice tea to try, it wasn't something I would buy to keep in my tea collection.

This is a nice wintry spiced herbal tea. I primarily taste orange, cinnamon, and a hint of ginger and a bit of the tartness of the hibiscus. Unlike other “red” teas, this one isn’t mostly hibiscus and therefore is more pink than red once steeped, which makes it unique in my book!

The first taste was fruity, but the more I drank it, the more it tasted like bubblegum. I thought I was off, but then after reading other reviews I laughed when I saw other people also tasted bubblegum!

An extreme amount of apple pieces and rose hips were the first thing I noted upon opening my communiTEA packet. There were two orange and cherry pieces noted. My packet contained more total product today ... four instead of the normal three grams was noted. Spicy holiday apple cider aromas were pleasant.

When hot, apple cider and cinnamon/ginger flavors were forward and moderate. Other fruit flavors hadn’t made a show yet. Hibiscus and rose hip tart flavors were moderate. No other fruity flavors were noted. Sugar was added to hopefully bring out the flavors of the other fruits and tone down tartness.

When warm, moderate spicy apple cider flavors continued. I couldn’t detect any other fruit flavors except apple as they were overpowered by heavy floral notes from the rose hips.

In the end, this was not a very enjoyable drink for me. (7 mins @ 212ºF, 1/2 tsp sugar)

Got this in the December Communitea sample box. Definitely tasted the cranberry and orange, it had only a hint of cinnamon... and I tried not to taste bubblegum but I get what a lot of the reviewers are saying about it. Might be the hibiscus? The cup brews up dark pink, and didn’t remind me of toddies. If you want that effect you might need to add lemon, honey, and bourbon. I think, if I was to brew it again, I would try it with some hot apple cider and extra cinnamon. There’s no tea leaves in it, so who’s to stop me?

Nice fruity and spicy tea. The color is rosy pink, which I find really cute. I brewed this tea in a thermos bottle for 5 minutes.

CommuniTEA 12/23. One of my favorites so far in this month's CommuniTEA box! The packet smelled like there was an intensely fruity and spiced cup of festive tea in store for me, and I definitely liked where this was heading.

Brewed up, I had some initial disappointment, since the first sips gave me mostly apple and cinnamon flavors like mulled cider. That's not a great thing, since I tend to get bored with cider pretty quickly. There's only so much apple juice with a cinnamon-heavy spice blend can do to hold my attention.

This tea came through with some more dimension, though! It wasn't long until I was also picking up a good dose of ginger, more than is usual in cider spice mixes. That alone would probably have kept this ginger lover happy, but there was EVEN MORE.

The tea also had juuuuuust enough rosehip/hibiscus tang, plus a nice bit of orange, that kept it from cloying like cider. It did this without veering into one-note, nothing-but-tang Red Zinger territory. Now that's a balance I don't find very often; IMHO many teas overdo the tang and it downs out all other flavors.

I was very pleased with the combination of flavors! Fruity, spicy, and just the right amount of tangy. It made for a very cheery cup, and I'm glad I also have a sample packet on hand for a few more rounds.

Sooooo good. A satisfying, delicious treat on a cold day. Perfect to warm yourself up after frolicing in the cold. All the satisfaction of a decadent dessert without the trainload of calories.

This is a really delightful and flavorful hot drink, especially great for winter evenings.

This tea very much lives up to it's name. The aroma is strong, but not overwhelming, and the flavor certainly reminds you of Christmas.

I don't think I would enjoy drinking this on it's own, but I mixed it with red wine and it was a delicious mulled wine situation.

This is a great blend for the holiday season. The tart hibiscus and rose hips pair nicely with all of the warming spices and the hint of sweet citrus. It reminds me of a mulled cider. I like adding a bit of sweetener to tone down the tartness and bring out the spices. I do wish the cinnamon was a little stronger, so I think I'll try making it with an extra cinnamon stick. Will definitely order more to have a bag on hand for the holidays.

My girlfriend and I were very impressed with this herbal tea, and it pairs extremely well with some bourbon, which is probably why it has this name! I just ordered a big bag of this to get us through the cold winter. Highly recommended!

My favorite from this order. It has just the right blend - balanced - of all the flavors for a nice relaxing cup of tea during the holiday season.

Yuletide Toddy has the same Christmas flavors of Wassail, without the liquor. It is a delicious winter tea that I will enjoy during the cold weather. I love the cranberry and orange flavors.

★★★★☆

A wonderfully warm slightly tart tea perfect for the holidays and winter months to come! The tartness of the fruit is present but doesn't overtake the flavor of the tea. The cinnamon and ginger give a slightly warm but not overwhelming spice to the tea that mimics the tart and spice combination of apple cider. I'll definitely be restocking this in my cabinet every winter season!

I really like this tea! It is much better when brewed for the whole 10 minutes. It does smell and taste like bubblegum--it isn't terrible, but it was surprising. I love it so much that this tea has become my default drinking tea.

This has become a night time regular tea this winter. I add in a little red wine sometimes and it's delicious. The cinnamon is not overwhelming which is why I went back and got more.

★★★★☆

Tastes a lot like mulled wine. Sweet and fruity and complex

★★★☆☆

I don't think I really like this one. It tastes like watered-down cherry-flavored apple cider. I put two teaspoons in my 16oz cup and let it steep in hot water until cool enough to drink. Unlike many other Adagio teas, the added flavoring isn't way too strong, because if I wasn't told there was cinnamon, orange, and ginger in this, I wouldn't be able to guess. I was hoping it would be something like an orange spice tea (which I still buy from the supermarket because I haven't found an equivalent here), but I really can't detect any spice at all and I'm not a huge fan of cherry. I'd probably like it better if it tasted like bubblegum like other reviewers mention, but I'm not tasting that at all. I'll try doubling the amount next time and see if that changes things. 3 stars = I'll likely finish the rest of the sample, but won't be ordering more.

A little bubble-gummy, but overall pleasant. The orange went nicely with the faint cinnamon

It's OK. The cranberry and orange smell is great and makes you look forward to the tea. Unfortunately, the taste is sweet but very undefined and a bit candy-like. Definitely does not need sugar.

Since apple, cherry, orange and cinnamon are some of the prime ingredients of bubblegum flavor, I’m not surprised that some folks take away bubblegum from their Yuletide Toddy experience. For me, it tastes like Christmas!
