This was really interesting and not what I expected. Very herbal and smells heavenly, but not to my personal taste. I ended up giving it to my best friend who LOVES it as a bed time tea, sometimes with a little spiced rum.
This herbal blend is a lovely duet of classic holiday flavors (cranberry and orange) with the added sparkle of cinnamon spice.

This tea gets me in the holiday mood. I love it and it makes a good addition to hot cider simmering on the stove, or even mulled wine. I understand other's comments about the 'bubble gum' odor, but once the tea is brewed, it doesn't taste like bubble gum, just delicious caffeine free comfort in a cup.
Sweet and flavorful. Perfect for the upcoming cold nights.
Edit: Just finished my tin of this. I hope it makes a comeback next winter. I'll definitely get a bigger supply to last me longer.
Love the aroma! I do really enjoy this tea, but tend to stick with less of a berry-flavored tea. The berry really overwhelms the rest of the flavors for me.
Nice end of day tea, great flavor and bonus, no caffeine.
it helps me sleep at night and relax as well. definitely will get it again
A fun, fruity tea! Looks as beautiful as it tastes, warm and nice in the cold.
Mix of herbs is very delicate, like the smell of this tea
A little strong for me, especially the cinnamon. But I mix in some white tea to mellow it out.
I'm a big fan of Adagio's fruit teas. This one did not disappoint. I made it in a Teforia machine. The cranberry flavor comes through with a hint of cinnamon. I add a dash of turbinado sugar and the result is a holiday drink that is as warming as apple cider would be.
This tastes like Christmas!! My whole family enjoyed it!
Very fruity. I like a more herbal flavor to my tea, but I took a chance on this anyways. Don't get me wrong - I like it, but just not my style.
Even steeped for 7 minutes at 212 and it was really pretty mild. Not entirely sure what about it was supposed to make me think 'yuletide' or 'toddy.' I'll finish the sample but I won't buy it again.
Both the color and the aroma of the brewed tea remind me of my aunt's Christmas wassail. Although I let this steep for ten minutes, I found the flavor weak. I will double the amount of tea next time I brew this.
I taste the orange and cranberry. Very nice tea during the winter and holiday season.
very refreshing and energizing despite zero caffeine
This tea warms you from the inside and smells like the holiday. My family wanted a full pot brewed each day during this Christmas season. The fruit is not too sweet and is balanced with the spices.
I bought this tea as a sample size as I was just introduced to Adagio. I really like this tea and will likely be buying more teas from Adagio. The apple really pops in this, and it's a nice tea to help keep you feeling cozy on a winter night during quarantine.
I received a small bag of this tea in the Winter Box. I enjoyed it so much, I ordered a large bag because I want to have it around to drink longer than the holiday season.
This was fantastic and an immediate favorite. It needs nothing but hot water and steeping time. I love it in the evenings while reading or playing games.
Pretty tart for me. There’s some underlying sweetness that helps, but I wouldn’t get this again for myself.
this was good, but not in the favorite class for me. It is a nice change of pace though. Not something I would drink on a daily basis.
Though this is exactly the kind of tea I tend to like, this wasn't quite a winner for me. Based on my CommuniTEA packet of this tea, I prefer the pomegranate grove for a spiced, wintery fruity tisane by a lot. I might still get a sample of this, though, just to figure out if it was my packet that was out of balance, or if this really doesn't speak to me. I do like all the ingredients and have liked them in other teas. The only one that's usually a miss for me is cherry in teas, with rare exceptions. There was a bit of an element of the flavor that tasted a tiny bit medicinal for me that I didn't love, and I think it has to be the cherry. I can see others with slightly different taste buds really enjoying this though.
Dec 23 Yuletide Toddy 5/5 No caffeine | Steep at 212° for 5-10 minutes +10
Wow, the fruitiness and spiciness emitting from the CommuniTea packet is delightful. It smells like a dessert. The tea steeps to a beautiful scarlet color and the aroma is all spice and fruit. Now there is a three ring circus in my mouth. In one, the orange and cranberry frolic freely on a trapeze, soaring high and low. In the second, the rose hips, cherry, and hibiscus are busy juggling sour and tartness. In the third, the apple, cinnamon and ginger tumble together making cider. The tea is delicious hot, but it is also wonderful cold and reminds me of one of my favorite Adagio ice teas - Berry Blast. Since I have a small sample bag of this tea, later I make another cup and add Jim Beam Honey to enjoy a delicious adult hot toddy. Wow, this is good.
The Yuletide Toddy tea is a lovely slow-sipper. It is fruity and festive. I steeped for 10 minutes, added honey and lemon, and didn't get any of the bubblegum smell that others have noted. With a cinnamon stick, it becomes festive enough to serve at a Christmas party. Later, I did a re-steep and iced it. Good that way, too.
A nice mix of fruity and spicy. Add a little sugar to bring out the flavor but go easy or it'll mask some of the more subtle flavor. Sipped with the CommuniTEA on December 23, 2020.
This was an interesting tea. It was fruity almost too sweet fruity, (Be careful when adding sugar). But what saved it from being over powdered by the fruit was the spices. The spices lingered on your tongue. I enjoyed this tea hot as well as cold.
Tangy, all the good christmas flavors. Reminds me of wassail almost.
It's nice, honestly, but it mostly makes me wish I had put some apple cider in it. It feels like it's supposed to be an apple cider accompaniment, not a standalone beverage.
I love this one! First of all, the color is so pretty - pink, bordering on purple, love it. It's fruity with just enough spice to make it taste like Christmas. Of the fruits, the orange stands out the most to me and it blends beautifully with the spices. Next time I might add some honey and maybe a cinnamon stick.
Upon first sniff of my Communitea packet I smelled.. bubblegum? A check of the ingredients still leaves me wondering why I thing “bubblegum”. Other than that, I seemed to have a good sampling of the ingredients. So it all gets a good hot (212F) steep for good 5min -ish, was probably a minute or 3 longer. And the taste is .. tart, & still with the bubblegum scent, though not as strong as it was dry. I can’t pick out any distinct flavor, except fruity & tart.
I'm discovering I prefer summer-fruity to winter-fruity.
However .. given that it’s called a toddy, I decided to give that a try. The addition of some honey whiskey & a lil sugar turned it right around for me.. Much better with those addictions. I added just enough to get a taste of the sweet whiskey, I don't make it the main event. It paired so well, the sweet balanced out the tart. It was the saving grace for this tea.
I really enjoyed this one! My CommuniTEA packet seemed to be well balanced; there was a fair amount of apple, orange, rose hips and spice. I let it steep for a little over 10 minutes, and added a bit of sugar. It was a very pleasant fruity drink. The cinnamon was there, but not overpowering. For an herbal tea, this was full of delicious winter flavors!
It’s...ok. A weird punch that had either too much spice or not enough fruit for me. I don’t hate it. I don’t love it. I’d drink it again, I just wouldn’t order it.
Its not sweet, doesnt stand out, a mild fruity spice that lets you drink alot of it without realizing it, in between drinking caffeinated teas. Like a background tea.
Yummy and tangy. Tastes like Christmas in a cup!!!
This is a very comforting cup of tea perfect for before bed. Tart and tangy with a nice blend of apple and orange flavors all infused with spice. Definitely reminds me of mulled wine.
Nice, light fruity tea with a hint of spice. Would love to try it iced.
A nice blend of apple cider and cranberry flavors, with the spices being very subtle. A hint stronger on the spices would be a 5 star review.
Yuletide Toddy a nice festive tea. It is similar to hot apple cider. The orange, cranberries and cinnamon are enhancements to round out any tea celebration.
Delicious! It tastes like a hot, spiced cider with orange.
Too tangy for me but my husband really enjoyed this blend.
Perfect for a chilly winter night! It would even make a great tea latte.
I enjoyed this tea. It was well balanced and made a delicious toddy with honey, lemon, and bourbon
Really a keeper. Just add a bit of Splenda and enjoy. I love rise hips and hibiscus and the orange and cinnamon and cranberries and touches of ginger enhance the tea. Perfect. 💗💗💗💗💗
Wow, this tea has a lot going on! A 7 minute steep makes a gorgeous dark pink tea that looks festive and inviting. It does have a bit of a bubblegum scent, but I find the flavor much more complex than that. It's tart and juicy from the fruits and hibiscus. Just when I think it's too sour, the sweetness from the apple comes to mellow it out. At the very back end, there's a teeny bit of heat coming from the ginger and cinnamon. I found the plain cup delicious but it'd also do well with some sugar or honey.
I'll buy a bag of this and hope I can ration enough to last til summer, where I can enjoy it iced too!
This smelled AMAZING - but the flavor is just all right. I think it might be better iced than hot.
I liked this tea today in my CommuniTea. I was really getting the cinnamon, ginger and cranberry. Someone said it tasted like apple cider it did kind of remind me of that at first. I’m not sure if I would buy it but if I did, maybe a splash of brandy or some Maker’s might add a little zing to it.
Interesting tea for sure, so rich looking all dressed up in a Christmas Red. I’m enjoyed the incredible apple cider scent that flew through the air. Sipped Warmed the tart hibiscus seemed to malt with hints of cranberry or cherry can’t put my finger on that one, followed lots of apples & a little orange spice. All these flavors seemed to be doing the “two step” around my cup today! So happy Adagio added this in our collection. To bad it’s not snowing out yet.. I’d have added a little spiced rum,and sipped on a yummy hot toddy to warm up! Delicious!
(8 mins @ 212°F)
I enjoyed this tea. Tasted like apple cider to me. Did not really taste any of the other flavors though.
My packet looked just lovely in the steeper, nice chunks of dried fruit and an apple/spice scent. The colour brews up to a lovely pinkish tint. The first sip, I definitely get the rosehip/hibiscus vibe, but I felt it needed something to bring forward some specific flavour, so I added a bit of maple syrup. Yuck, I totally tasted a weird, sweet, almost chemically taste and once I read other's reviews, I can see why it has been likened to bubblegum. This in no way tastes like a natural flavor of any fruit or spice I know of. I did not enjoy it at all, and had to toss the rest down the drain- adding any alcohol to this would be doing the alcohol a disservice... I think this is the first tea from Adagio that I truly dislike.
