Spearmint Customer Reviews

Refreshingly clear, soothing aroma. Slightly smoother, more grounded than peppermint, gentle to the palate.

★★★★★

Bright and minty, great to use in plain tea and blends to kick it up. The flavor gets more intense the more it cools down as well.

★★★★★

I use this with green tea to make ice tea. It is so good and has the added benefit of making my whole house smell great when I brew it. I use a Mr. Ice Tea machine, 2 tbsp Spearmint tea, 2 tbsp Green tea.

★★★★★

Absolutely the best mint tea. Clean, fresh and bright. @adagioteas

Spearmint is amazing. Gets me up in the morning even though it doesn't have caffeine.

I love spearmint so much. It has no caffeine in it but it can easily wake me up

A staple in our house. Always have to have some spearmint.

★★★★★

I'm really impressed with the quality of this spearmint. It smells strong, and it doesn't take much to add a minty coolness to any tea.

Nice tea for something different. Not something I’d want all the time though.

I needed something bright and cheerful to lift my spirits this morning, and this tea fit the bill perfectly!

A deliciously refreshing mint tea! Very enjoyable inn is own or blended with either black or green tea!

This needs a little pickup from Lemon grass, but is still tasty on its own.

★★★★★

I always have spearmint tea in the tea cabinet. This is my favorite mint. It is mellow and sweet and makes a great tea. Does not need sweetener, but it is brightened a bit with sugar or honey. How many teas can pep you up a bit in the afternoon, but also can help you relax before bed. This one can stand alone and does wonders for heartburn or a sour stomach. It is also great to blend with other teas since it is not overpowering. I love it with wild strawberry and also with chamomile and lemongrass. Enjoy the wonderful minty sweetness.

Exactly what you can expect. Spearmint. Used for simple syrup.

... I actually brew this Spearmint tea and the Peppermint tea and then combine them. But they are both fantastic!

★★★★★

I honestly can't tell the difference between this and the peppermint. I now just blend the two to optimize the flavors. Love it nonetheless.

★★★★☆

I really like to mix this with peppermint tea as a nighttime tea.

★★★★★

Tastes like spearmint gum. so delicious and it tastes great when mixing with other teas.

★★★☆☆

Fairly good quality spearmint tea! Especially good for drinking at night.

★★★★★

Bought as a present for a friend. I had a cup of it before handing it off and regretted not getting myself a bag as well. Sweet on its own and not too intense. Makes for a mellow and satisfying cup of tea to relax with. Good for when my stomach isn't at 100%

This is probably the best spearmint tea I have ever tasted, smooth and great for my tummy! I also add chocolate extract to it and this makes it extra perfect. I have given gifts of spearmint tea and chocolate extract to relatives, friends and they have thoroughly enjoyed.

Classic spearmint tea, it will not disappoint. Smells amazing

★★★★★

I usually purchase peppermint tea but decided to give the spearmint a taste. It was more refreshing, and lighter. I also cold brewed it with gunpowder (1 part spearmint/3 parts gunpowder) and it made the best mint iced tea! So smooth!

Absolutely delicious. A deep and rich spearmint flavor. Fabulous chilled too. I get my best health benefits from it, though, when it is steeped for 5 minutes, and honey to taste is added.

★★★★★

Smooth and refreshing minty taste. Great tea to have after a heavy meal

★★★☆☆

Basic tea. Has it's uses, but doesn't live up to the other flavors available on this site.

★★★★☆

It is okay, but I'm not a one ingredient herbal tea person. My sample came in a communitea box. Only one teaspoon by itself went into my infuser. The rest was combined with raspberry green tea. The latter was better. UPDATE: I got this stuff again in my Communitea box some months ago but was unable to update this review. Now that I have Gunpowder Green tea, I went ahead and ordered the sample as my oldest likes Moroccan Mint tea.

It has a nice minty flavor and I don't have to go out and cut any spearmint to add to my green tea, great flavor

★★★☆☆

Spearmint has always been one of my favorite go to herbal teas. This tea is smooth, light and refreshing. The only complaint I have with this tea is it's a little weak. More leaves are needed then the recommend amount for a good strong cup.

I bought the biggest bag I could after tasting a sample of this tea. True spearmint flavor. Excellent!

This spearmint tea is wonderful with great flavor. It's great by itself, but I especially like adding it to green tea, and I generally use the gunpowder.

★★★★★

Milder mint tea compared to the peppermint so it is nice to have for people who want a less intense mint tea.

★★★★★

Initially I started drinking this tisane with supplemental health benefits in mind, but it has quickly turned into a calming nightly ritual that I savor each evening before bed. The spearmint leaf is pure and cut finely, resulting in a wealth of minty flavor without the menthol of peppermint. It is also excellent blended with gunpowder green to make Moroccan Mint. I really can't recommend this product highly enough!

Unlike peppermint that can be too harsh, this spearmint is soothing, smooth, and grounding.

So good! I’ve got to remember how important it is to use fresh tea. It really makes a difference in the flavor. The spearmint flavor was full and so satisfying.

One of my favorite teas to enjoy before bed. I like this better than peppermint

★★★★★

Exactly as I expected: lots of lovely, fresh spearmint flavor. A great change of pace from regular peppermint tea!

212 degrees for 5 minutes. The smell of the dry leaves reminded me of how my mom's purse smelled when I was a kid. She always had that extra spearmint gum that scented everything, lol. How cool and refreshing! Smoother and sweeter than peppermint, with a calm vibe. I can imagine drinking this iced in the summertime sitting on the back porch.

I have always enjoyed Mint teas, this is much better than any I have purchased in stores.

★★★★★

A very nice mint flavor. Kind of like gum without the artificialness.

★★★★★

a lovely take on a mint tea. Very refreshing and lots of flavor

Reminds me of spearmint gum. Sweeter flavour than peppermint.

So nice and smooth. I like this even better than the peppermint...not so harsh.

★★★★★

I love spearmint in general and this tea is no exception. I find it refreshing and a lovely cup to have at night since there’s no caffeine.

I actually prefer peppermint tea over spearmint tea, but this is still a really good tea. Tastes just like spearmint gum and is delicious without sugar.

★★★★★

Sweet mint with mild menthol flavors. Much milder than the peppermint. There is a slight acidic aftertaste that reminds me of citrus fruit. Pretty good but I prefer the peppermint, to be entirely honest.

I've had peppermint tea many times but I think this is my first time having spearmint on its own. Smells deliciously like gum and is great for an upset stomach.

★★★★★

This spearmint is pretty straight forward, but also fantastic. It tastes bright and refreshing, and I think would be fantastic iced. If you like spearmint, this is high quality mint, and brews up into a delicious tea.
