I'm not a big herbal fan, but this stuff really surprised me. The sour quality makes it much more interesting than many other fruit 'teas.' I'll probably order this again.
A celebration of the apple! Sweetness like a candied apple, fresh tart-floral notes of crispy crab apples.

It doesn't exactly taste like sour apple, but if you a tiny bit of cinnamon to the tea before brewing, it'll bring the flavor you might be hoping for out.
I brewed some of this iced in my Mr. Coffee Iced Tea maker and think it tastes plenty sour. It is a good change of pace and might be better in the summer. I believe somebody else mentioned it tastes like kool aid without the sugar, and I think that's pretty spot on.
Strong smell and extremely tart, I really like this when mixed into other herbals. I add this to the spiced apple chai frequently to give it an extra sour apple kick.
This is my first tea from Adagio. I'm looking to replace a blend I get from Teavana that is just too pricey. WOW, this tea is fantastic. I added just a dash of raw sugar and this is one of the best fruit teas I've tasted. I will certainly be reordering.
Not one of the best in the herbal category and I'm not sure why it's called 'sour' apple. Like the mango melange, this was lacking a necessary tartness.
Pretty tastey. . . Not one of my favorites but mixed just right probably good!
The rose hips were a bit overwhelming, but if you steep it a little longer with less leaves, it's a little better.
I bought this years ago and just loved it. Then it went away for awhile. I was so glad to see it back that I bought the biggest bag. This satisfies my autumn apple fix with every cup.
A little tart and the sour apple taste overpowered the white tea. A little goes a long way and you want to experiment with the brewing time.
Oh my! Just like an apple! Usually I am derisive of 'herbal' teas but this was my converter.
Great afternoon tea!!! It also is nice in the warmer evenings.
Ordered this, in a sample size, as a birthday gift for a tea fan. He loved it.
It was a little too sour for me, but then again it is called sour.
Perfect balance of flavors. Not too sour, just right! Tart, but with a bit of sweetness. Very refreshing!
Did not have the taste I was expecting. More tasted like warhead that had been dissolved in water. Still decent though.
This is probably my all time favorite herbal tea!! I love it so much!!
So far this is by far my favorite adagio tea. Its not artificial tasting and makes me happy
Not bad-- tastes more of a tart, red apple than a Granny Smith apple.
Definitely not my favorite tea. It tasted waaaay more like hibiscus than apple. It got sour quick too. Although this is my first herbal tea, so I have to play with it. Much better cold with a teaspoon of sugar over ice.
This one had the sour apple flavor without being too overpowering.
was good my wife liked it more than me good smell though
I mixed a teaspoon of cinnamon tea in with four teaspoons of the sour apple (I made a large batch) and it was delicious! I am really enjoying mixing tea flavors! I have never used loose teas and I'm having a great time experimenting! :)
A light apple taste, mixed with other flavors. Not a super strong apple, but I still like it a lot. Great for fall!
i may just not be a fruit tea (or tisane) person, but this tasted pretty much like watered down apple juice to me.
had an amazing smell while steeping, and was kind of disapointed that the favor wasn't as strong.
Very fresh and tangy, but not overly potent. Awesome with a little caramel to sweeten it
Like biting into a granny smith apple. I like it twice as strong as the recommend and with two teapsoons of sugar. It smells VERY sour, but it's actually just the right amount of sour. Two thumbs up.
This is one of my all time favorites. I'm a sucker for anything sour. This is great before bed.
This is one of my favorite herbal teas. The sour notes give the drink a nice complexity.
Tried this because the Spiced Apple Chai was out of stock.Just not the taste i was looking for.
I really wish I liked Sour Apple more. I wanted to like it. I tried it several times. But I just can't get past a taste of slightly-off apple juice.
This is another really great tea to blend with other fruit flavors and put on ice for kids.
I'm more of a green tea type drinker, so this really wasn't my 'cup of tea'.
Nice tea, I really like it mixed with Blood Orange.
Very strong sour apple flavor...tastes like Granny Smith apples!
Like a fall day spent in an orchard gathering apples in a basket. Tart, refreshing and sour! It is very good with a cinnamon stick and a bit of clove.
I really liked this tea, but then again, I always like the herbal flavored ones. It may just be my pallate, but I can't really tell the difference between this, berry blast, and berry blues.
Not a fan of this either. I don't think it is the tea, it is me. I don't like the warm fruity taste, it just seems odd.
The tea in its dry form has the most pleasent apple smell. There are a LOT of little apple chuncks in the mix. This tea is tasty by itself, or mixed in with other teas (like rooibos)
My first experience with non-peppermint herbal teas. Tasty, but tart (as the name suggests). I have not tried it with sweetener, but I don't think it needs it. Will definitely buy again for an uncaffeinated fix.
until Adagio I was not a fan of fruit teas, but here's me, loving them!
Amazing. Very sweet and tangy. Mixed with rooibos caramel to make a Caramel Apple tea.
A little too strong of a sour taste for me. Not too bad though- I enjoy it with a little mixed in with some green or white tea.
The sour is this blend was way too sour for me. I don't think it mixed well with the apple flavor.
The smell was just like sour apple. It tastes kind of like apple, but not quite like sour apple. I probably would not reorder.
Very nice herbal. Lovely smell, too! I like to munch on the bits of apple. Wanted to mix with my caramel sample (changed the steep time and temp to accomodate a black), but there was only a little bit left in the caramel tin because it popped open in shipping :( So it hasn't got as much caramel taste as I would like. Shared with some friends when I brewed it, they liked it straight, but I rather prefer it sweetened. Vive le difference1
May order this again :D
I have been on a apple kick lately and this tea has a very good apple flavor. It smells like a jolly rancher, but I don't really think it's that sour. I can drink it without adding any sweetener. This will be a reorder for sure.
I'm not normally an "infusion" fan - I like my tea. But I had this at a friend's house and had to add it to the collection. Delicious.
Jolly rancher's apple candy. That's what this tea smells like. I freakin love this tea. It's really tart, and sharp, and delicious.
