Absolutely one of my favorite teas from Adagio! My only complaint - I wish it had some caffeine. It absolutely doesn't need any extras such as milk, honey or sugar. It's perfect the way it comes out of the pouch!

★★★★★

A great tea for a crisp fall day, I love the apple flavor, with a cube of sugar, it's like a warm candied apple. This tea is one of my favorites.

★★★★★

Sour apple is definitely my favorite herbal tea!!!

★★★★★

This tea has definitely become one of my favorites. The flavor is strong and not overpowering at all. I love the apple taste! It's an absolutely wonderful tea!

★★★★★

I was hesitant to try this one, due to the name, but it
s a perfect blend of apple with just a hint of sourness to it.

★★★★☆

I was a little worried about this because the tea itself smelled like apple cider vinegar. Once I made a cup and tasted it I was pretty pleased with the taste. It tastes like apples, but its not too strong.

★★★★☆

This tea is awesome. It tastes like a granny smith apple. I love this tea!

★★★★☆

I was pleasantly surprised with this tea. I will definitely be ordering this again

★★★★☆

I love this apple taste! Its really good mixed with other teas to give them a fruit tart kick.

★★★★★

This is a great tart tea. Unlike other similar teas like the fruit medley, berry blast, mango melange, etc this is less fruity and just as tart as the wild strawberry (which is my favorite herbal tea).

On its own: It was nice, but nothing more. Sort of like very very mild apple cider? Not sour except when I cold-brewed it for 24 hours.

Blends: I love it blended with Blood Orange and Mandarin Green. I drink raspberry leaf tea daily for health reasons, but I really really don't like it, and I struggled to find something to blend it with that made it more palatable. on a whim, I tried Sour Apple, and it was pretty tasty - so tasty that I make it iced by the quart, steeped strong on the stove. Sour Apple would probably also be really good in a blend with cinnamon something.

***I recently added to my review that I found a chunk of charcoal in my tea. I discovered that it was actually from our icemaker, so I need to correct this! There was NOT charcoal in my Sour Apple packet!***

I love love love the flavor of this tisane! Along with Dewy Cherry, it ranks as one of my all-time favorites! I can drink this at any time, day or night!

I LOVE anything apple, and this tea is no exception. Perfectly sweet, tart and apple-y. precisely what I would ask for out of an apple tea. Blends exceptionally well with Cinnamon black tea.

Got it as a sample when I ordered a tin before. Not as good as it smells, but with a couple teaspoons of sugar it's pretty good. I'll definitely order again, but I still like it better with blends than I do by itself.

★★★★☆

Initially, I wasn't sure about this tea when I first opened it and smelled it. It smelled a bit like cranberry, which is a flavor that I don't like all that much. After brewing though, the tea is delightful. Sweet and tart, good hot or over ice.

★★★★☆

Good tea, just doesn't have a strong apple taste. Like with the Wild Strawberry, I get a strong hibiscus flavor. I think these 2 teas have a stronger, and better, hibiscus flavor than the actual Hibiscus tea. I'll probably just use this tea for blends.

★★★★★

This herbal tea is very different. It's good iced!

Tastes just like a granny smith apple! A tea you must simply try. Could be a bit stronger.

This may be one of the best teas I've ever had. It's light and sour, but not too sour. It smells so good I want to use it as potpourri.

★★★★☆

Tasty and sour with hints of sweetness. Good around fall.

★★★★★

I really enjoyed the smell of this tea while it was seeping. The scent of apple with just a hint of tardiness made me think of fall. I figured I would like a little more tartness so I added a couple of drops of lemon juice to my cup and it just enhanced the flavor even more. I really enjoyed this cup of tea...umm actually that was three cups of this tea, lol!

★★★★★

This stuff smells EXACTLY like those green sour-apple lollipops with the caramel on them, but taste like a MUCH more mild, sweet version! They're just a little tart, but it's exceptionally refreshing!

★★★★☆

I do really enjoy this tea and will purchase it again. It is a nice addition to the variety of flavors that I order regularly.
However, I should mention that the flavor slightly reminds me of apple cider vinegar. Not sure if everyone will enjoy it as much.

★★★★★

This tea is one of my absolute favorites! It's the perfect combination of tart and sweet.

It is probably just my taste but this one was super sour. I know it says sour apple but it was way too sour for me. I probably wouldn't order it again, that said if you love sour stuff this is probably for you.

★★★★☆

Juicy blend, great for summer. I drink it when I'm looking for something caffeine free and refreshing.

★★★★☆

This smells quite sour when you open the bag but it brews up pleasantly tart with the faint aftertaste of apple. I would like a stronger apple presence and maybe a hint of cinnamon and cardamon. I think this one would be nice blended with apple chai.

★★★★★

It's not very sour at all. It's more like historic apples than the over bred apples you get in supermarkets today. Great iced or hot.

★★★★☆

I'm shocked at how good this is, its like having a liquidized version of a sour apple hard candy.

★★★★★

I have never had a tea quite like this. It's always great to try something unique! When I first drank this tea, the hibiscus notes were very strong - it is definitely a tart drink! The apple flavor is subtle and more of an after note. I think this tea is begging for a touch of cinnamon, and I may add it in my next cup. This is a very complex, interesting tea, and I would suggest it if you are interested in trying something new.

★★★★☆

I ordered this one but could not have it after the one cup because of a 'gut condition' that really hurts when I drink it but was so disappointed I couldn't have it. Smells great!

★★★☆☆

As far as tart herbals go, this one is just OK. I much prefer the blood orange tea who's flavor feels a bit more natural. This tea tastes a bit too much like a sour apple jolly rancher candy for my taste. It was fun to try, but won't be a regular fixture of my pantry.

★★★★★

AHHH! This tea is absoultly amazing, I couldn't get enough of it. If you know what it tastes like to bite into a granny smith apple, it's just like that taste! It's so delicious!

★★★☆☆

Good flavor not a strong apple taste. This one is ok

★★★★☆

Be careful not to oversteep this tea. It is almost better to steep for less time at a cooler temperature or else the ingredients become too powerful. A little sugar doesn't hurt!

My favorite to add into drinks. I even brewed this and added it to my sodastream bottle, it was great.

★★★★★

One of my absolute favorite, and I am very difficult to please with an herbal blend. Sharp and crisp. Very much like biting into a good granny smith apple. With a bit of added sugar, tastes like a less-sweet, full-bodied cider. Good both hot and iced. Will buy again... and again... and again...

★★★★★

Tasted like the best apple juice, minus the calories. Added a bit of sweetener to it and it was perfect! Good hot or iced!

★★★★★

Smells just like a sour apple jelly rancher and tastes just like one too. So worth it.

★★★★★

I add this to the caramel, makes it delicious, sweet and sour!

★★★★☆

The bark is much worse than the bite. When you smell this one, you expect something that's going to be bitter, but it's surprisingly sweet (especially with sugar added). The Berry Blast tea is MUCH more bitter than this tea. It's still a little sour, but I did not find it overpowering. This hasn't been my favorite tea, but I would drink it if I had it.

It smells weird and taste old and moldy. I pawned it off and the first person that would take it.

★★★★☆

This tea is kind of weird. Not necessarily in a bad way, but I don't think I'd ever drink it on its own. It's great for blending with other teas.

I bought this tea for my boyfriend and he loves it. It has a great apple flavor and the smell is beyond heavenly!!

I really enjoy this tea. The flavor is a bit artificial, but not unpleasantly so. It tastes something like sour apple candy, but of course has no sugar. It also seems to be a pretty unique flavor. I've never run across another sour apple tea. As someone who likes to keep a variety of herbal teas on hand, that's a bonus for me.

★★★★☆

When I brew this - I think 'jolly rancher'! I have not been drinking this tea buy my teenage son has been asking me to brew it so he can drink it over ice - he loves it and plans to take a bag with him to college in the fall.

★★★☆☆

It is exactly what it says, sour apple. I didn't care for it by itself but mixed with other flavors for an iced tea it was good

★★★★☆

Tastes like candy, but I knew that going in. It hit my sweet tooth without the extra calories.

★★★★★

very sweet of apple and has a very nice firewood red color
