My favorite chai. It is packed with a bang! My kind of chai for sure! Every sip is good and a aha moment.
Traditional yerba mate elegantly balances the spirit of chai spices with the essence of tropical fruit undertones.

My favorite chai. It is packed with a bang! My kind of chai for sure! Every sip is good and a aha moment.
This may be one of my favorite teas. The almond flavor is strong, if you like marzipan you’ll love this
I love mixing Samurai Mate with Ayurvedic Chai. It is a staple in our house, loved by myself, my husband and our adult kids. It is aromatic and smooth. It is soothing when your throat is scratchy and refreshing when you need a pick me up.
Fruity and a bit citrusy. I taste and smell the earthiness of the mate. An interesting blend but tasty none the less.
This tea has the right amount of spice without being too spicy. Honey helps to really bring out the flavor of this tea. It has quickly become one of my favorites.
This is nostalgic to me for reasons I can’t explain. But the tassel resembles orange and cinnamon. One of my favorites to have in the morning to help get my day started.
I love the flavor of this Mate. It's not over powering. It has a strong nicely balanced spicy flavor.
I mix this with a teaspoon each of White Ayurvedic Chai, Raja Oolong, and sugar, and it makes an amazing cup of tea.
love this flavor so bold and tasty, it even has my husband drinking herbal tea often and loving it!!
I like to have a different tea, at least every 2 days. And I love the teabags...so easy
Kind of a tropical chai. It's very good, sometimes great. I love that it contains mate which offers caffeine to get me through an EARLY morning (3 a.m.) yet offers the intriguing taste twist of a good blend.
Most of Adagio's teas taste the same to me each time I try them-- they're dependable that way. This one varies a bit though. I'm sure it depends on the presence and quantity of each ingredient in the spoonful of 'tea'. It's NOT highly inconsistent, but it IS a little tougher for me to rate. I'd prefer to give it 4.5 stars instead of 4. Just know that sometimes it rates as low as 4 stars and other times it earns the full 5. I enjoy mine plain (nothing added).
Rich, smooth, a wonderful light Chai type tea. Great with honey and oat milk.
I am new to the Mate club, but this blend has made me a permanent member. The level of spices is just right for me
Strong, bold flavors. Not my absolute favorite Adagio Chai but very enjoyable. Best with honey to bring out all the spices.
This is one of my favorite mates, it's just spicy enough to wake you up without over doing the kick. The blend of fruits go wonderfully with any orange tea.
Nice mid day blend that gave me great energy! Fantastic booster!
This is probably my favorite tea they sell. I looked forever for a replacement ot the Saurai Chai from Teavanna and this is the best replacement I have found and it's amazing. I use it as my morning cup almost every morning.
A wonderful chai blend, I mix it with Raja Oolong Chai and Masala Chai.
This was really delicious. I had it as a sample and I had to buy more. It tastes like a traditional snickerdoodle, not the store bought ones, but not too sweet. Good with honey. Great morning tea.
This is one of the most complex and delicious teas I have had from Adagio. Lots of spicy herbs with a light hint of tropical fruit.
A great warm tea. I love this mate a lot. It never disappoints and is a tea you'll want all year around.
I mix the Samurai Mate with the Masala Chai and Raja Oolong Chai. The mix makes the perfect cup of chai tea with just enough spice and caffeine to get me through the day!
Phenomenal tea! A lovely warm spice flavor, pairs well with some milk and brown sugar and works well hot or cold, i was so e static to find my favorite tea here after so long!
My son fell in love with this tea, it's great hot or cold. Very refreshing
We love this tea, which is very similar to the late Teavana's Samurai Mate. Subtle spicy, sweet, and mildly nutty flavor. Recently, we just finished off the largest bag brewed exclusively as cold brew iced tea. The flavors surface more with a well heated steep, but cold brewing in the fridge for several days also creates a crisp, light, and refreshing beverage!
Love the smell of this cinnamon tasting Herbal Tea. If you like spicey-teas ... With all of the other spices (ginger, cardamom, and anise) this is a great tea to invigorate your taste-buds.
One of my favorites. But I can’t drink it alone. I pair with a black tea
This is a complicated blend that I can’t decide if I like or not. One time I do, another I don’t. Maybe I just need to develop my palate to appreciate it
Tastes better than the teavanna samurai Mate Chai!
This is without a doubt going to be a staple tea from now on. Such an amazing flavor pallet and works so well, hot or iced. My favorite Mate offered. I believe Teavana used to have a tea that was similar to this but adagio's version is far superior.
This is a very fun mate. It’s not too spicy but still bold. A definite reorder!
A perfect replacement for the samurai chai mate from Teavana. One of the only chais I drink
This blend is perfect for those looking for a mate chai. Highly recommend.
My absolute favorite tea
I drink this on my stress filled days to help me relax
Just love it
Again another Teavana sub that is ok on it s own better paired with White Ayvirek Chai and best with paired with Raga Ooloong Chai.
This has a really great flavor combination. The spices are evocative of chai but the citrus provides a different direction for the flavors to go as well. When cool the cinnamon created a really nice natural sweetness.
I received this tea in a sample and was blown away I love Chais, but this one was a little different with the fruitiness. Went right away to order a bag, as I need this in my life.
My absolute favorite decaf chai. I cannot have caffeine and choose this one every time. I double the blend, and steep the full time to get the spice out of it
Complex tea with a good amount of caffeine. Enjoyed something different and complex.
A delicious tea!! Mix it with some honey and it tastes like a cinnamon candy! @adagioteas
I dont know if any samurai ever drank yerba mate but if they drank this one theyd definitely like it
This is really really good, and I'll probably buy it again, but I think perhaps more than just about any tea I have ever had, it needs to be hot. I thought it bordered on undrinkable when it was cold.
Very flavorful and has a great aroma. Definitely try this one!
Spiced, warm, and oddly sharp. This is one I do like to start my day with, if I want something stronger than my usual greens
I enjoy Samurai Mate daily, brewed together with Raja Oolong Chai. Samurai Mate's cinnamon compliments the Chai very well, and the fruit pieces in the Mate give the blend more robust flavors.
soothing, relaxing. Takes you to a tropical place in the south seas...
spice like a chi, balanced fruity notes choreographed on the back drop of an somehow elegant mate. something like perfectly planned fireworks over a royal flower garden ostentatious and elegant at the same time without trying to hard. The energy boost is slow building and sustained perfect every day starter steep long don't sip hot drink warm.
I won’t mention that other tea place that shall not be named, but they had a white Ayurvedic chai… and this is similar enough to make me happy. Beautiful blending of flavors here makes this a tea that I crave on cold days.
really interesting tea! the flavors come together really nicely
Love the little 'bite' this tea has to it. Afternoon pick me up.
