I ordered this as a sample and had to order more. A delicious evening tea or anytime you're wanting and herbal.
I mix this with Raja Oolong Chai & a little sugar. The flavor is a pop of cinnamon spice deliciousness. Really, it is my go to, I don't want to think about it, I know it will make me happy cup of tea.
Wasn't too sure about this one at first but the longer I left the tea steep the better we r it got
There’s something familiar about the flavor of this tea, but I can’t quite place it. Reminds me of a chai tea with lots of cinnamon, and it has enough fruity sweetness so it doesn’t need anything else added. A nice spicy and sweet brew. Steeped 5 mins @ 200°
This smells delicious. I love Adagio's spicy cinnamon flavor. I don't taste mate, which works for me. But too much caffeine for me. Cheers.

Nice bright fruity flavor, very little chai. Mate teas aren't my favorite but this one is ok.
I liked this one a lot! The spices were mild, but the sweetness of the cinnamon worked very well alongside the sweetness of the fruits to give it some nice depth. I appreciated this CommuniTea cup enough to wish I had a second one at the end of it.

This tea was very pleasant to drink. There was a lot going on when I smelled the packet before steeping. I wasn’t sure I’d like it. I was wrong. I really enjoyed it. i added a little honey. The spice was mild and not overpowering. I could taste fruitiness but the flavors married together and I wasn’t able to pick up any specific fruit. All together a great blend.
Spiced, but not overwhelmingly so like the triple pepper one from a few days ago! Big fan!
I really enjoy this tea, the flavors blend very well together, unfortunately for me, mate makes me jittery so I can't drink this often
I wouldn't call it a Chai in the traditional sense. But it is fruity and delicious!
A nice cup of mate is exactly what I needed on this Monday morning after the DST switchover. Yuck to Mondays! After reading the ingredients, I steeped at 212 for 12 minutes, and waited impatiently. This tea is so, so good. It's got a fresh and clean taste but it's so flavorful with all the spices. It's cinnamon forward, but not overpoweringly so. You can taste the mate. I didn't get any cardamon (boo) but I got clove. It's a solid cup. Loved it.
This tea is very delightful. The tropical fruit flavors blended so well with the chai. My only complaint is that it's a mate and i can't drink them.
I bought a samurai mate chai from Teavana years ago that I loved, and I haven't been able to find anything like it until now! I like the combination of spiciness and earthiness. I recommend adding a bit of honey.

I really enjoyed this tea in my Communitea today. The chai flavors mixed with some fruity notes hit the spot. I don't drink a lot of caffeine and this is high caffeine. I wouldn't drink this on the regular but it's good for a needed boost on the first Monday after Daylight Saving Time.
I love the complexity of flavors in this tea and how each cup is just a bit different. My CT sample today was at first very cinnamon forward, then I could detect sweet pineapple and mango. As the tea cooled, I got a nice licorice undertone from the anise. So good! I steeped for 10 minutes at 212° and added two rock sugar crystals.
Loved this tea -- nice and spicy, really invigorating. Perfect for a mid day pick-me-up. I don't know if this would be something I drink every day because it's the spice can feel a bit overpowering, but it is a lovely tea every once and a while!
Honestly this is my go to tea. The flavor is heavenly. The notes of cinnamon and cardamom are balanced with that slight citrus notes. It sometimes replaces that second cup of coffee in the morning. It's great sweetened with honey.
I thought this mate would have more kick, but maybe because blended w citrus tones, it is good for afternoon sippers.
As far as mate's go, this is a good one. Lots of exciting/interesting flavors in this cup and I really enjoyed my first cup. It's not a tea I could drink all day long, but I like it better than regular mate.
I bought this to blend with nother tea to recreate a blend from another brand that no longer exists. I cannot speak to how it taste on its own, but the blend is really nice.
This is my go-to tea after all these years, and it never fails to disappoint. Spicy and herbal, I like it best with a few bits of rock sugar.
I didn’t care for this tea as it’s too spicy. However, the energy boost was worth brewing the cup for the afternoon slumps
I am a fan of this tea from an energy perspective. Great coffee alternative and provides a nice afternoon energy boost. However, its not my favorite taste. That is probably a me thing though.
I discovered this in portion samplers and it was a lovely surprise. I ordered a sample just to verify that my tongue hadn't fooled me and I was thrilled that it hadn't. I had always been hesitant to try Chai teas because I'm a scared cat. If you are the same, and love a a litte bit sweet & strong, please take the plunge with this tea
Adagio is the only place I can get anything similar to (the discontinued) Tevana's Samurai Chai. A great spicy yet fruity tea, with great energy benefits. While this blend is more floral, I like to add some loose-leaf chai I have on hand to add more depth.
Great spices, fresh 2 pound purchased in less than 30 days, 4 stars cause I dont give 5.

Oh, Samurai Mate... this tea has a special place in my heart. It's absolutely delicious. You can taste the different spices, and the almond is definitely prevalent in the scent and flavor of the tea. Great caffeinated tea with a spicy kick to it. I recommend blending it together with Raja Oolong Chai in equal parts for a truly decadent, spicy, and rich tea flavor. One of my staple go-to's in my tea dungeon.
I had a sample of this tea and bought myself more. I love the flavor and it's just a lovely cold day tea. I highly recommend this tea.

This is one of my favorite mate teas. The blend of spices and fruit flavors in this tea go perfect with a bit of sugar and milk in it for a cozy drink on a cold day. Possibly one of my favorite teas in general to be honest.
I like the warm spicy and citrus taste. The rooibos tea is adds a sweetness and nice color. With the green tea and yerba mate it brings an interesting combination. I like this unusual tea.
Great tea! Lots of flavors that mingle really well together. I prefer to brew it on the strong side and drink it iced.

I took the recommendation that I might like this and they were right! Mixed with Raja oolong, this stuff almost tastes like non alcoholic fireball lol
I was a fan of the teavana tea and have found that this mixed with the raja oolong is the closest thing. its the perfect warm tea without being too spicy, its good sweetened with rock sugar but also good with milk.
Well, if you were a fan on Teavanas’ Majarajah Chai mate combine this tea with Adagio’s Raja Oolong chai. OMG! It is perfect! Please, please try it!
I missed my Samurai Chai Mate from Teavana and a friend of mine bought a bag of this for me for my birthday last year. Recently started working from home more so doing loose tea every day. Just signed up to get a bag of this every month as it's my favorite morning wake up tea.
This is a Very good tea. Has a nice spice to it. Great pick me up tea. Will order this again in the future.
