this is sorta close to the classics teavana samurai chai mate.. my memory is good enough to know that it's not exactly the same. Ingredient list will point to differences as well. I like to put extra in to help i also like to grind a little bit of black pepper corns in it. It's great.
This is a very flavorful and aromatic blend. I drink this one on the mornings where I'm feeling extra ambitious

I love the energy this tea gives me but a little unsure with how much cinnamon is in it but thats just my personal preference

While I don't often use this Mate by itself, it has excellent flavor, with strong citrus notes. To step it up a notch, try it with Samurai Mate, Raja Oolong Chai, and Masala Chai in a 3:2:1 ratio, respectively. That has been my go to in order to replicate the long lost Teavana tea, that they would sample at the door. Make sure to add some belgian rock sugar (or my personal favorite, Vermont maple syrup) to bring out all the nuanced flavors of the blend.
I was hoping this would truly be like the Teavana version. It is not. Disappointed. Will not be buying again.
One of my favorites. A little citrus, fruit background, cinnamon, and sweetness make the perfect blend. Definitely worth a try.
this tea has a flavor that is all over the place. I have only brewed a single cup of it, but the tea had a lot going on when i made it. I like to challenge my palette and try new different teas. This mate in particular could go either way for me, I need to brew it a few more times to really understand the flavor profile. It's that complex in my opinion.
This is a nice, lightly spiced tea, not overly strong. I hadn't tried spice flavors with mate before, really like it.
I buy this for my wife and blend it with the Raja Oolong Chai 50/50. She absolutely loves it and it is a perfect replacement for a blend we used to get from Teavana years ago.

This is a good replacement fore the samurai chai that Teavana used to have. It's not quite the same, but it is close enough to be satisfying.
This mate with chai spices and fruit has a lot going on in it. It's a little spicy, a little fruity, a little sweet, and a little sour. What easily could become a muddled mess actually works well here. The combination of flavors results in a drink that I enjoy quite a bit.

The smell of the tea came through so strongly that it almost felt like I was smelling a baked good instead. The taste then felt like a milder version of the smell. Interesting experience!
This was my first sample into the mate world. I mainly bought this for a friend, who loves a “stiff/spice” tea, and she was very impressed. I was a bit overwhelmed with the level of spice, and did add a bit of honey to my cup. On second tasting, I could detect some of the fruity notes of orange and maybe papaya. Thankfully, the anise wasn’t too bold and I didn’t find a heavy smoke flavor. I’d encourage anyone to sample this if looking for a bold tea to warm up your palate.

Great blend of flavors the cinnamon and the peppermint was great touch to this tea great if add you want to add more sweetness honey so u don’t screw up the flavors
This one was an amazing tea for me. I love yerba mate and I love chai spices. This one has the added little bit of citrus and fruity background flavors that manage to not be overwhelmed by the rest. The yerba mate is present, but does get a bit pushed around by those strong chai spices primarily the very prominent cinnamon which I love so don't mind at all. Definitely a new fav for me. Added nothing to my cup. 212° 10 min.
A delightful chai blend! The yerba mate is my preferred caffeine kick I need in the mornings to get going. This seems like it would be good if iced too though I'll have to try that another time.

The mate is too faint, or possibly overpowered by everything else. I love the cinnamon spice, but everything else just muddles into a fruity essence. Even if I could drink safely, regularly, I wouldn't seek it out. but it's making me want to try experimenting with good yerba and something cinnamon!
The cinnamon and cardamom is so prevalent I honestly thought i was drinking a chai at first but this was such a pleasant little drink. I greatly enjoyed it
CommuniTEA sample: 5 min @ 212 F, second cup for 10 min @ 212 F. I think this tastes good, but I think it's too much in too many different directions. It's got tropical fruity notes, it's got herbal and medicinal notes, it's got Chai spices, it's got the almond flavoring, there's a lot going on here. It's generally sweet and fruity, and the spicy cinnamon flavoring is notable in the aroma, but I think that flavoring smells artificial and like candles more than real cinnamon. Some of the ingredients get drowned out because of the amount of things in here. It's not bad, but I don't think it has a solid identity.
When I opened the packet, the smell of the blend of spices was wonderful. It transfered over to a great flavor once brewed.
Smelled of ginger and cinnamon. Tasted slightly of cinnamon with a ginger spice aftertaste. The mate was a good base to the spices.
I am new to this tea tasting! I have been using tea bags. Not sure if it is the cup infuser but I like this - for the morning. Smells wonderful. The flavors blend together so well.
I tried this because I was reading about all of the health benefits of Yerba Mate. Sadly I have found out Mate is not for me. This one was the best of the ones I tried though.

Love this Chi blend, it is soft and mellow with very nice earthy notes that blend really well with other teas. You can use it to add depth with spice or brighten it with fruit tea blends or all on its own. Fantastic blend.
No flavor, loose tea. I will stick to organic teabags purchased from Walmart, target or whole foods.
