Raspberry Patch Customer Reviews

Like fresh homemade jam: juicy and tart, slightly sweet, not overwhelmingly tangy and a lovely fragrance.

Delicious and fruity raspberry tea, I quite enjoyed the jammy-ness of this one. I think I'll blend it with some unflavored black tea or rooibos next..

Raspberry patch is fruity blend that has a sweet aroma of raspberry and a tangy and juicy taste of hibiscus, rose hips, and raspberry. The hibiscus and rose hips add a splash of color and tarness, while the apple addssweetness and crispness. Raspberry patch will make you feel like you are picking fresh raspberries.

To be honest this wasn’t my favorite. It was way too sour and no amount of honey could fix it. I’m going to get another sample bag and hope the second is better

Thought the raspberry patch was very flavorful and refreshing. Would buy again

There is a lot of great natural flavor in this tea. It's a little bit too flavorful for my taste. It has a bit of a tartness to it, which is expected. Very fruity, and almost juice-like. I would absolutely recommend it to someone who enjoys those qualities, it's just not my preference.

Really enjoyed this tea - refreshing and sweet with tartness from the hibiscus. Trying cold brew iced tea with this next!

I really wish the raspberry flavor had come through much stronger than it had. The ‘back up’ flavors really overshadowed the raspberries

★★★★★

Wow.. this one is a new house favorite. Everyone enjoyed it over ice with lemon, no sweetener needed. I’ll continue to drink this hot throughout the colder seasons just because the flavor is *just* right.

Was hoping for more raspberry flavor here, mostly I tasted the apple and hibiscus. I also found this one steeped up a bit weaker than other similar tisanes (like Wild Strawberry).

★★★★☆

I used 2 teaspoons and planned to steep it for 10 minutes, but I forgot about it - so it may have been steeping for more like 20 minutes. (I poured boiling water in). I tasted it before putting a teaspoon of honey in it and it was sweet and had no sourness to it. The honey helped bring out even more flavor, in my opinion. If you want something sweet, not tangy, this is for you.
UPDATE: I now add lemon to it with the honey and like it so much better.

Pleasantly tart raspberry flavor is very prominent in this one, not much else is notable. Needs very little sweetening, if any

★★★★★

Such a nice tart tea! If you love fruity and tart teas, this is a MUST HAVE. It is great for making mocktails when combined with other juices like lemonade or cranberry juice as well!

another great for summer drink.. agave as sweetener over ice makes your hot days a breeze. taste so good!

★★★★★

great and very refreshing. you can make as hot or as iced and both taste very flavorful, especially for a warm summer months.

★★★★★

Plenty of great raspberry flavor; you don't actually need that much tea in the diffuser to be able to taste the raspberries very strongly. Great with ice.

★★★★☆

My daughter loves this tea for medical reasons. It reduces cramps! Is also a delicious raspberry flavor. Very relaxing way to hydrate.

★★★★★

This tea is everything it is advertised to be. It's delicious hot or cold, and blends really nicely with other teas or cranberry juice. Really pretty color too!

Loved the raspberries in this tea. I really want to try it iced and add it to my summer teas

I like raspberries, but tart raspberry tea doesn't seem to be for me. I cold brewed it and got a nice red color, but a punch in the mouth flavor that was more like a green raspberry not quite ripe.

It was a little on the tart side. I didn’t think it had as much of a raspberry flavor as I thought it would.

This was a very flavorful raspberry tea. It was not as tart as I thought the hibiscus might be. 212 for 7 min. 3g -12 oz. CT 3-6-23.

5 stars for all the Caff-free Herbals that we can get! Raspberry Patch is awesome in Blends, imo, moreso than by itself. Is it something I would need for my stash?..No, not as a staple. Maybe once in awhile, though. There's other fruity herbals that I like by themselves more. But, I May consider to have a sample bag of it on-hand for a Summer cold brew at some point.

This was a very tasty tisane in my opinion. The apple in this helps to sweeten it up a bit and the hibiscus gives it a tart spark that I really like. I cold brewed mine and it turned out delicious.

This tea is good cold-brewed. It has a nice berry flavor and that tart hibiscus flavor, which isn’t my thing. However, it wasn’t as heavily sour as some blends I’ve tried. I think it is refreshing, and the berry flavor is nice and not at all artificial.

I often don't care for fruity herbal teas. Raspberry Patch is an exception for me. It has a bold flavor (10 minute steep) that isn't too sour or sweet.

Surprisingly not extremely tart, considering the ingredients! Fruity in a light way - the flavour just floats up in your mouth with every sip.

CommuniTEA Review: This fruity herbal tea is fantastic! It’s the perfect combo of sweet and tart. I brewed my sample hot and really enjoyed it. The flavor got even better as it cooled so I know I’d enjoy this one iced as well.

8oz purified water @212 for 10 mins in electric kettle. CommuniTea pouch

The dry tea smells strange to me! Very fruity, but there's also a strange... rubber scent there too. I'm not quite sure what this could be!

The tea steeped to a very pretty dark red color! Not much to say on the steeped scent, it's nearly non-existent and neutral.

Whew! The taste of this one is quite tart! However the notes of raspberry do come through the tartness.

I ended up mixing 2tsp of sugar to combat the tartness with great success! While it is still there, it is far more palatable to drink.

I feel that this tea would be excellent as an iced sweet tea!

★★★☆☆

I decided to try this hot and cold, to give it a chance, because you all know I am not into hibiscus! As luck would have it, my packet was a bit short on that ingredient, and I did not have to take two sips and toss it. However, having the tea hot I tasted more of the raspberry than I did when it was iced. Once iced, the hibiscus was almost non-existent, but the raspberry now tasted like flat kool aid. All in all, it was better than I anticipated, but nothing special.

Fruity herbals are not my jam consumed hot. So I brewed this one and chilled it before consumption. Nice, fruity iced tea with mild raspberry flavor and a tartness from the hibiscus. 210 for 10 min.

This is a wonderful raspberry tea! i prepared it cold. I can't taste the hibiscus at all. Also there is not an artificial aftertaste like with some other teas. I will happily drink this tea this summer.

I don’t care much for tart herbaltea as often, for me, the tartness overwhelms any flavor. I could barely taste the raspberry because of this.

★★★★★

I cold brewed this tea, as I do most fruit forward teas, and I am in love. So fresh and yummy.

Tart, just the right amount of sweet, and fresh. I found it to be concentrated enough for several steeps. Huge fan! Will buy this for a summer iced tea.

CommuniTEA portion: 195 for 7-1/2 minutes. Enjoyable blend but just too tart for my palette. I would like to cold brew this next time to take some edge off.

I cold brewed this overnight as a lot of the fruit teas seem to do better this way. This was really tart and refreshing, with the raspberry, hibiscus and apple all mixing to get a nicely blended flavor. This is one of the better fruit herbals I've had, and I really like that I was able to taste the raspberry as a main flavor rather than something in the background from the hibiscus.

Normally not a fan of raspberry flavored tea, but this one is delicious! All the flavors mesh well together and it's very refreshing iced.

If I had to pick a hibiscus tea, I would pick this one. It has a nice balance of tartness and sweetness to it, and I feel that the raspberry flavor is strong enough that the hibiscus flavor, which I am not typically a fan of, is more muted. Overall, while this is perhaps not a tea I would order more of, I enjoyed the cup of it I had today.

If I can get past the nastiness that hibiscus is, this tea is actually ok, a bit sweet, think it would be better iced.

CommuniTEA Sample: Fruity notes filled the room when opening this sample. When hot, sweet notes filled the cup and as it cooled, more of the tart notes were revealed. A very nice sip!

UPDATED from 3/26/21: This smells so fresh and fruity as the CommuniTea packet opens. It steeps into a vibrant bright red tea! It has a full, tart flavor. No astringency, bitterness, or caffeine! Adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) allows the sweetness to balance better with the tartness. Now it tastes just like a sweet/tart candy, and it will be great as an ice tea. This will be one of my “go to” summer teas with Berry Blast, Peach Bellini, Wild Strawberry, and Fleece is the Word (fandom blend). (10 mins @ 212ºF + sweetener).

When I opened my CommuniTEA packet, I was met with delicious aromas of raspberry. I steeped the tea for 5 minutes and it produced a beautiful magenta cup of tea. I love the flavor of this tea! The raspberry flavor is the perfect combination of sweet and tart. This tea is such a treat!
