I expected more fruity flavors. The cinnamon and ginger were overwhelming and hid the other flavors.
First whiff smell like my grandma perfume and was worried but after my first sip it actually grew on me! Sadly I Didn’t taste much pomegranate ☹️but thankfully the other flavors rounded out nicely with a little hint of spice. (10 mins @ 212°F) Gorgeous in a clear glass, reminds me of Chrismas.
I absolutely love pomegranates and am sorry that they are only available for a short season where I live- so I was excited to try today's communiTEA. My packet had many lovely aplle peices and some other dried red fruits, thankfully very few rose petals and a ton of dried ginger. The scent was overwhelmingly apple with spices behind it. I brewed it up as per the directions and the lovely pink color is very nice. Unfortunately, when plain, all i get is the tart rosehip and hibiscus (not my favorite). I added a splash of maple to see what I could coax out of this cup, and now I am getting the apple and spice coming out- mostly cinnamon with a bit of gingery bite. I get no pomegranate from this at all, this tastes like a weak apple spice tea to me. I am a little disappointed, was hoping for more.
This for me wasn’t fruity at all. It was a different cinnamon than I am used to with chai teas that I usually drink. More of a sweet cinnamon than a spicy one.
I enjoyed this tisane without anything added to it, although it's also good with a little bit of sweetener if you want to indulge. I get mainly the tart hibiscus flavor with some hints of apple and pomegranate, and an overlying floral aroma from the rose petals. I couldn't detect the cinnamon or ginger other than a very slight warming spice, so if those flavors were stronger it would be a perfect fruity spiced holiday tea.
Bright, sweet, tangy and juicy! The dry tea blend smells fruity and sweet with a little spice mixed in. Once brewed, it is reminiscent of mulled cider with aromas of apple and cinnamon and touch of ginger. The color is astounding! The first bit poured is a bright pink and it darkens into a sparkling, vivid fuchsia color. The tangy flavor is a surprise compared to the aroma with the tangy hibiscus, tart pomegranate and jumping to the front with a slightly astringent feel. The finish has apple and warming spices toning it down. A very charming, well-blended herbal that will brighten up any day!
This tea smells and tastes amazing! For me though, it tastes more like warm apple pie than pomegranate. The cinnamon and ginger really bring out the fruit taste, but the apple pieces seem to overpower any pomegranate flavor. But that's ok with me - tastes great!
This tea tastes far better than it smells. The smell (once brewed) was very off-putting to me, but the flavor is actually pretty good. It reminds me of the passionfruit tango a little, but with a bit less cinnamon. Honestly though, I would prefer this without any cinnamon and ginger, but it's still a nice herbal for a chilly fall day.
I had this in the communiTEA box. This smelled great upon opening (smelled just like apples) and did not disappoint upon tasting. Definitely hibiscus in it, but the other flavors came through. I’ll have to add this one to my wishlist.

This tea was really good hot. Very fruity and somewhat tart but with warming spicies of ginger.

This tea is exactly what you would imagine for a pomegranate tea, the tart but somehow sweet and indulgent flavor of pomegranate. Wonderful!

Nice smooth flavored tea. I add dried cranberries to my cup to give it a little sweetness. Honey complements this tea as well.
It tastes like Christmas, fruity with a hint of spice. Its good as-is but I add some ginger inclusion because I prefer a little more spice. Excited to sip this all winter long.
I love the pomegranate as a fruit so I was extremely hopeful for this tea. The hint of cinnamon and ginger make this a tea that warms you down to your soul.
I have always enjoyed pomegranate and this bland is just perfect. I ordered this so I could send it home to my father who also enjoys pomegranate

This tea reminds me of Chrismas. It has a fruity aroma rounded out with nice spice on the nose, but they're not too forward when drinking. My sample had a LOT of apple pieces, though, which is why I'm only giving it 4 stars.
This tea is amazing! I brew it a bit stronger and really enjoy it. Also add steamed lemonade to it. Great hot or iced!

Lovely fragrance, but not as bold of a flavor as I would've expected from a pomegranate blend. Just okay to me, there are a lot better herbal blends out there. Not a specific fruit flavor that I'm picking up and it's pretty weak especially considering the fact that I put in a large amount and steeped for 10 minutes!
Delicious, slightly tart, gorgeous in a clear glass. Ginger isn’t overpowering.
This is now my favorite tea. Sweet and sensual with no bad aftertaste. Taste of fruit lingers after you finish a cup or three!

This is my favourite iced 'tea'! 2 heaping tsp/cup, brewed overnight in the iced tea pitcher sold on this site. Nothing added, nothing needed. You can really taste the pomegrante, and the cinnamon and ginger are a heavenly spiced touch. I can t recommend it highly enough!
bought this for a friend for her birthday as she is a fan of pomegranate and it was a hit! tried a bit myself and i feel it could have been a little juicier. drank it very sweet.
Good tea. I liked the cinnamon in it. I had not read closely on that. It s different than most of the fruity teas on here. It makes a good hot tea but is a little strange as an iced tea because of the cinnamon and ginger.
the taste is soft and light. Sit back and chill with this in your mug or glass and I think you ll enjoy.
