I love the hint of coconut, it would be good iced, but I am drinking it hot.
A mouthwatering tropical treat for your island (or local) getaway. Vivid flavor and succulent sweetness.

I love the hint of coconut, it would be good iced, but I am drinking it hot.
I am a huge Pina Colada lover and I was genuinely shocked. It tastes just like the drink.
It’s pretty darn good. A little more better than I was expecting it to be. I wasn’t crazy about it at first but it really grew on me fast.
I liked this flavor. Strong coconut and pineapple combination.
I first drank it unsweetened and it was good. Then, just to see what would happen, I added a little simple syrup (I made it using equal parts honey and water) and that cut down on the tartness and I enjoyed it even more. (I use Adagio raw fruit tisanes honey.)
1 & 1/2 tsp tea in 10 ounces of water. Cold brewed overnight.
I drink this iced, made overnight in the fridge. It's tropical and flavorful - we love it!
I absolutely love this stuff! I really really like tropical tasting flavors and this stuff is full of it. The coconut and pineapple is very noticeable.
This is a perfect summer tea, as iced. Smelled fantastic, too.
Fresh and great for summer. Brew and add some ice for the perfect getaway
This tea was just... kind of fine for me. I normally love pina colada flavors, and I love hibiscus and all the other ingredients in this tea. But combined? I dunno... it was just... ok? I didn't hate it. I finished the glass. But would it buy it? Or even drink it again? Nah, probably not.
I'll be darned if this isn't the true to life taste of a Pina colada! Alcohol, calorie, and guilt free.
Absolutely intoxicating smell and taste! The rose hip and hibiscus break up the coconut and pineapple flavor without it being over powering. I had it hot this time but will definitely try a cold blend next time! 😍
Pineapply, coconutty, and oh so delicious. I wasn't sure it'd work hot, but it surprisingly did.
I honestly do not love any of the flavors in Pina Coladas. I hate pineapple and coconut. So its just really not my cup of tea.
One of my favorite summer teas I have tried so far. Rated this a 9.5/10 and it tastes just like a pina colada!
Enjoyed the Pina Colada tea as a CommuniTEA sample. I cold-steeped it overnight in 12 oz of water. The resulting beverage was rosy red and tasted predominantly of tart hibiscus and sweet coconut. I didn’t note any pineapple flavor, and wonder whether a little sweetener would have be brought that forward. A refreshing summer beverage. Not sure I would like it hot.
A light, delicious and fruity cup of tea that is amazing iced. The communiTEA packet was a little under-filled, but still satisfying!
This was an easy five star blend for me. My CommuniTEA packet smelled like a tropical paradise. The pineapple and coconut flavors were in perfect harmony and the brew was a gorgeous red color. This makes an excellent mocktail and would also be a great wash for a rum cocktail. Happy sipping!
I can not hear or see pina colada without starting to hum. So, I hum the happy tune while opening my CommunTea packet. Hello coconut, you smell lovely. Brew for 10 minutes to pull out all the fab flavors in one go as second steeps of fruit teas just never taste as good to me. Hot, coconut took the forefront with fun hints of pineapple and hibiscus. After a few sips, popped in the fridge to try chilled. Cold, there is the zing of hibiscus dancing with the pineapple and coconut. I keep humming... Yes, I like pina coladas... while happily sipping away.
The scent in the packet of this tea was spot on with coconut and pineapple. Once brewed, the scent was toned down with an added tart element. The tartness carried through in the brewed tea and overshadowed the coconut and pineapple flavors a bit. But with 1/2 tsp of sugar this was a nice tea with a pretty pink color. (5 mins @ 212°F)
Had this one iced, and it's lovely. The pineapple really shines through making for a refreshing and tangy summer drink. (10 mins @ 212 F, then placed in the fridge to get nice and cold).
Love the taste of this tea. I can smell pineapple and coconut, really taste like a piña colada, thanks you adagio (212 10 min).
A very strong coconut aroma greeted me when I opened the packet. However the first steep of five minutes was very tart, even with a packet of Splenda. I decided to give the mix a second chance and brewed it for ten minutes and let it cool to room temperature. That was a vast improvement. The coconut really came through, overcoming the tartness of the hibiscus and I actually began to really like it. At the very last, I decided that I’d eventually like to buy a sample to see how much better it would be sweetened with a little cream.
(Review based on the Mocktail Teas packet.) Tropical pineapple and coconut aromas rose out of the packet. An herbal steep at 212°F for 7 minutes created a reddish colored tisane.
The first sip had plenty of smooth coconut and tangy pineapple flavors. The tart hibiscus and rose hips followed through the end of each sip. There was enough hibiscus to warrant a sweetener, if only to tame the tartness down and get the flavor closer to an actual piña colada.
This one’s definitely a different flavor profile than the real thing, but it’s still a nice tropical summer herbal tea that goes well both iced and hot.
This review is dedicated to our damaged camping tent and those missing CommuniTEA packets that blew off into the wind. May they rest in peace!
I cold brewed this for several hours and poured it over ice. This tastes so much like a pina colada ! Coconut and pineapple are my favorite tropical combo and this delivered. After a few sips, I added some rum and pretended that I was in Jamaica. Great summertime blend !
Definitely getting pina colada vibes but I wouldn’t mind less hibiscus.
What a delicious fruit tisane. Perfect for summer drinking, hot or cold. Perfectly balanced hibiscus, fruits and coconut. Definitely going on my shopping list. I steeped at 200° for 8 minutes and added a small pinch of rock sugar for my 10 oz cup today.
DISCLAIMER: I do NOT like coconut. I have the opportunity to review this tisane thanks to CommuniTEA.
A tisane based on a popular slushy cocktail seems to lend itself naturally to cold-steeping, so into the fridge overnight went the contents of my pouch and some water. The coconut aroma is strong in both the dry blend and the brewed tea. The color of the tea, a bright red, seems wrong for a tisane based on a beverage that is usually yellowish-white. Unsweetened, tangy hibiscus and coconut flavors dominate. Any pineapple seems absent. Adding some sweetener, agave nectar in this case, helps bring out the fruitiness from the pineapple and dampen the tart hibiscus, but the coconut flavor is still strong, sitting and lingering in the back of my throat - more like a smell - rather than on my tastebuds. I give the glass to my husband, who adds some rum. I take one more sip and find the rum calms the coconut enough to maybe make the drink tolerable...but I let him have it. If you like pina coladas and coconut, I’m sure this is a wonderful iced tea. But I don’t, so it is not for me.
Neither small one nor husband like it and they rarely agree. Both like pineapple and lime coconut milk.
I wanted to stick my nose inside this packet and just leave it there. The scent is AMAZING. Sadly, the flavor did not live up to the aroma of the dry ingredients. The taste is very heavy and has an almost syrupy flavor to it, heavy on one note, though I can't figure out which one that is.
Great flavors. I normally don't like hibiscus because it's too overpowering, but in this tea it was well balanced with the other flavors. I would prefer this iced as a daily refreshing drink.
I was initially worried about the rose hips and hibiscus as they both have a tendency to take over and make a cup overly tart. In this case, they make the flavor of the pineapple pop just enough that it can assert itself alongside the dominant (and wonderful) coconut flavor. This is a really unexpected love and would be incredible iced.
Makes a great iced tea. Just the right balance of pineapple, coconut, and hibiscus to have a nice sweet, yet tart drink. Added a touch of honey to bring the fruit forward a touch more. Definitely get the piña colada beach side vibe from this beautiful red tea. Very enjoyable treat on a summer day. Steeped 212º for 8 mins. Enjoy!
Opening my CommuniTEA packet was a pleasant experience today! Lovely scents with plenty of coconut. It brewed up into a beautiful deep red color. I liked the taste well enough - it’s sweet, tart, and has a touch of coconut for a more mellow finish.
This was excellent as a chilled tea. Very flavorful without being too tart !
Lovely! I drank it warm, but it would be great iced. A little sweetener is needed to offset the hibiscus tartness.
I actually hate Pina coladas, so I was prepared to hate this tea, but it was great! The rose hips, apples, and hibiscus make this tea more delicious than a regular pina colada! I drank it iced without sweetener.
I steeped this tea for 20 minutes at 212F and drank it iced.
Drinking along with the CommuniTEA today: Strong ripe pineapple with coconut detected from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 5 mins at 212°F, I notice a deep burgundy magenta in my cup. When I take a sip, tangy hibiscus is the predominant flavor with a slippery coconut finish.
This tea wasn't a favorite but it wasn't bad either. Better iced than hot
I like this tea ever since I bought the iced bags. This is the first time I'm reviewing the hot version. With ice is better. I added sugar this time around (I normally drink without). Gorgeous red color will go away in a second steeping. All favors were present.
This tea brews up to a very pretty pink color. The first scent I noted after opening my CommuniTEA packet was coconut. After it brewed, I am able to smell the pineapple. This is a light, fruity tea - perfect iced on a hot day!
16 Jul 2020 review: Beautiful pineapple and coconut aromas noted from the bag. Saw lots of hibiscus and started having bad vibes ... I normally don’t care for hibiscus. An eye catching deep dark red color was noted In the cup and hot. The pineapple and coconut flavors were immediately tasted with a slight tartness from the hibiscus. So I added some sugar to maybe mellow that flavor out some, and it did. When cooled to warm, all aromas and tastes were strong with a definite piña colada flavor. The pineapple added just the right amount of pucker-ness. A very pleasant drink indeed, best when sipped, warm or iced. (7 mins @ 212F)
Super tasty CommuniTea today! Great over ice especially!
Interesting red color, delicious pineapple and coconut flavor!
It was good, but not great. I like coconut and pineapple, and it should have been amazing, but it was a little underwhelming for me.
Adagio Communitea packet - smelled lovely, very evocative of summer evenings and enjoyable gatherings :)
I love this blend. Decided to brew at 180°for 5 mins to keep the hibiscus tame. Lovely tea, nice balance of coconut, pineapple, hibiscus flavors. As it cooled the other flavors peeked through. I think next time I will cold brew it for the full flavors to come through.
Great tea! Loved it! Great with milk.
The coconut and pineapple is delicious but there is a lot of hibiscus flavor that I do not enjoy. Would be better with a black tea or a rooibos as another flavor.
Lovely sweet pineapple, that’s really great cold-brewed. The hibiscus gives it just the right amount of tang.
Nov. 17, 2020: Honestly, I didn't think I was going to like this tea. BUT... I found it to be refreshing and the pina colada flavor was really enjoyable!
Update: I still really enjoy this tea...iced and sometimes add a little rock sugar.
