Mmmmmm peppermint goodness and very versatile. Great iced in the summer or hot in the winter. Tossed a pouch of hot chocolate mix on top of my second Communitea steep and had a fabulous hot cocoa. Minty sipping!

Minty fresh scents strongly made themselves known as I opened tonight's packet. An herbal steep for 7 minutes at 212°F created a yellow-green colored tisane.
Mint aromas continued to pour out of the steaming cup as it cooled. The first sip was brothy, smooth, and vegetal with a cooling effect on the finish. There is a flavor reminiscent of stinging nettles tea, but with a more crisp and sharp minty edge. There's no off-putting flavors in this mint blend, as opposed to some other types I've tried. Mint is always best when fresh, and sure enough this tea is!
For a nice caffeine free tea that can help settle a stomach, this one should be on the top of the list along with ginger.
Wonderful, relaxing tea and a favorite. A year-round refreshing sip.
An absolutely perfect late-night, cold-weather tea
It's really hard to do mint tea wrong and Adagio does mint so, so well. You know exactly what you're getting into and, depending on the strength of your steep, can shock you awake or send you to sleep.
There's not much to say besides 'this tea sure tastes like peppermint!' It makes for a very bright and sinus-clearing cup. 5 minutes was perhaps a bit too long in my opinion, because it ended up tasting a bit grassy. But overall, a good cup!
this is the strongest peppermint tea i've ever experienced. and it held up well through three steepings. with the addition of cane sugar, it was a perfect candy cane experience.
Today's CommuniTea packet was peppermint. Spoiler alert: peppermint is my absolute favorite tea or tea-like substitute for the purists among us, so there was never a doubt that I'd like this packet. I have an open bag of peppermint from another source, a spice vendor, and decided to do a blind comparison. The Adagio tea smelled amazing when I opened its packet. So good. And both tasting cups looked and smelled amazing. But one of the cups tasted a bit fresher and more alive then the other, and when I turned over the tester it was Adagio's peppermint. In defense of the spice company, I'm near the end of an eight ounce bag that's been open since maybe May. The issue may be that I should stop buying eight ounce bags. :-) But if any of you were wondering if Adagio could hold its own against a spice company, I've gotta say yes. Now I have to go make some more tea as a reward for all this hard work...
This peppermint tea is bold yet comforting. Perfect for a fall day and blending with other teas.
Yep, definitely peppermint! This is a very flavorful tea that you will be able to steep more than once. It smells great and tastes great!
This was a good quality peppermint. I will be adding this to others to create my own yummy blends! Peppermint is a favorite of mine for the Christmas season!
I don't love peppermint tea, which is my fault rather than the tea's fault. So I'll review this one as if I do love it. And if I DID love peppermint tea, this one would be my go-to. The peppermint is bright, shiny, and fresh. It comes forward with a bold pop of peppermint. I've only ever had grocery store peppermint tea before, and this one doesn't even remotely compare. Can't beat the fresh taste of this one.
Sipping along with the CommuniTEA: strong mint with herbaceous and slightly metallic notes noticed from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 5 mins at 212° F, I notice strong mint with herbaceous notes wafting from my cup. When I take a sip, I get a hit of minty cool sensation followed by an herby-menthol finish, leaving a refreshing mint lingering on my palate with a tiny hint of bitter leafy greens.
Very refreshing, strong mint flavor with these fresh peppermint leaves. The aroma is enticing and it would be especially delicious iced, no doubt.
You can’t really go wrong with a pure peppermint tea. No added ingredients. Just straight up peppermint leaves. Drink it hot to warm you up on a cold day. Or drink it iced for a refreshing treat on a hot day.
Yummy tea.. I have not before had 100% peppermint tea. It was really delicious and soothing later in the day.
CommuniTEA Sample: Yep... it tastes like peppermint! A nice, clean peppermint and not a dusty one that you get from tea bags. Very fresh tasting and great for an after lunch sip.
I usually pass over the single ingredient herbal teas like this one mostly because I'm a gardener. And I can grow my own. But, there was enough peppermint to save the rest for later.
Great tea!
Love a good minty tea at bedtime and peppermint teas are one of my favorites! This is a very solid peppermint tea, I like it plain (I usually add sugar to black teas but herbals I usually like plain)
I thought I would find straight peppermint tea a little too strong for me but found that sipping it was quite nice
I have a love hate relationship with peppermint. I really do like it in certain foods, namely peppermint bark, and other combinations with chocolate. But the smell of it reminds me of when I was a kid and I'd have a stomach bug, my mom would put peppermint essential oils on me to help me feel less nauseous, so now of course the smell of peppermint makes me feel nauseous by association. That being said, with some cream and sugar this tea is really nice, and I think I would like it even more with some hot cocoa <3
Lovely peppermint tea. Enjoyable and high quality.
A great tea for a nice pick me up after lunch, an upset stomach or the start of a head ache. One of my favorites for this time of year
This is an excellent peppermint tea, very minty! Refreshing any time, especially after dinner. Makes a very intense cold brewed peppermint iced tea also! I’ve found for that I need to make it half as strong.
Not a fan of peppermint flavour in my teas. I will say that the flavour is very strong and minty, and it lingers in your mouth, so if you like mint-flavoured tea, you'll probably like this.
I love mint and this tea is no exception. It's fantastic plain but also good doctored up or mixed with other teas. I like the spearmint tea even more but that's just personal preference.
Soothing, refreshing, delicious. Drink it warm or cold for a wonderful pick me up.
Minty teas is not my preference but I can tell this one is fresh. After a few sips I passed it off to my husband and he loves it, says it is refreshing!
An icy wind blows
Twists and winds around my tongue
Swirling down, chilly
To soothe and relax
Yet invigorate senses
Magic peppermint!
(Haiku Review)
8 Dec 20 communiTEA review: When I opened my communiTEA packet this morning, I was greeted with a snout-full of strong peppermint aromas.
When hot, I was rewarded with an impressive copper colored liquor. Sharp mint flavors were noted and needed toned down with a bit of sugar. After that it was smooth sailing!
When warm and all the way to the finish: What we had here was peppermint flavors and aromas all over my tongue, mouth, nose and face! My ears and eyes were spared. At least they were pleasant and well-behaved flavors. My belly was not be left out, and told me that this one was tasty all the way down the pipe. What can you say other than, “this one tasted like peppermint!” (7 mins @ 212ºF, 1/4 tsp sugar)
I'm not generally a peppermint fan, so I didn't expect to enjoy this, but it was quite nice, especially as it cooled.
A sweet, mellow, and tasty peppermint. The description is right, it’s missing that oily bite of bagged peppermints.
This strong, satisfying, minty herbal is soothing on its own when you have a cold or upset stomach. It is also delightful when added to other teas, especially chocolate teas. Happy sipping!
Delicious, high quality peppermint tea. No more, no less. Just a hot cup full of minty goodness.
This tea's just as it sounds: a nice, refreshing peppermint tea. The flavor's quite intense, so be prepared for that!
I like peppermint, but like most herbals, it's better in a blend than on its own, I would say
Nice strong peppermint flavor, I've always been a fan of a good cuppa peppermint very relaxing. You can tell this is a very high quality peppermint by the way it tastes. So yummy!
This tea wasn't to pepperminty. Really helped to calm my upset stomach and no heartburn which is amazing. I usually avoid peppermint tea due to the fact that most cause me serve heartburn.
Pair it with camomile tea great after dinner blend
Love to add this to my other teas and drink on its own. So glad to have found a good peppermint finally.
This mint is STRONG. Wife and I have found it makes a better cold brew than as hot tea. Letting it go longer than 3 minutes gives you a brew that rivals toothpaste for mintyness.
Very minty and amazing. Very good in the morning..
The best Peppermint tea I've ever had. Very relaxing
Great on its own or blended with other teas! I love peppermint tea after a heavy dinner. It's so cooling and refreshing. Definitely a pantry staple.
Solid peppermint. Just what I needed to make my homemade blends.
I freaking love peppermint. It is so refreshing to drink. Purely addicting.
This tea is very soothing. Sharing with friends at work and we all love it!
The flavor is great, helps ease indigestion, it's a delightful tea any time of the day.
Peppermint is good for so many things - I look forward to using it alone or mixed in with other teas or even hot chocolate! @adagioteas
