This one wasn't too bad! Packed more of a punch than I was expecting. However, I feel that the flavors could have blended together a little better.

A nice fruity smell this morning, didn’t really catch much of the cinnamon around though I’m certain it was there. Knowing this was a caffeine free tea, I also went ahead and prepared something for later as well as I so need the caffeine hit during the work hours.

Such a wonderful rich and warm color as it brewed. The aroma continued to stay fruity and pleasant even after its steep, but still no cinnamon coming out to play. I liked the tart and tangy flavor of the hibiscus, it wasn’t overly strong, and kept the overall taste from being to fruity and sweet for me. At a hot temp it was good and when it was cold it was very enjoyable, but there was a stretch where I was reminded of warm kool-aid. It wasn’t entirely unpleasant but there was that just not quite right taste. But once it had cooled past that temp, it was fine again. The cinnamon never fully came out but I can taste hints of it in the aftertaste and small hits of heat. I can easily see this being a really nice iced tea.

All ingredients were present in my communiTEA packet. Hibiscus, cinnamon and lemongrass appeared to be the main players. 3.3 grams of ingredients were noted … enough for a 14 ounce steep. They was ready to tango! Moderate cinnamon aromas were noted.

I steeped at the short end of the time recommendation, five minutes, to hopefully avoid too much tartness from the hibiscus.

When hot, a deep red crimson colored liquid was noted in my mug. Mildly tart and sweet flavors at the same time were noted from the hibiscus. Fruit flavors were not present. Moderate cinnamon flavors were noted. I added a bit of sugar in hopes of bringing-out the fruit.

When warm, a moderate tartness was noted from the hibiscus. Lemony smooth lemongrass flavors were mild. Moderate cinnamon zings were noted. Mild indistinguishable fruit flavors were noted.

At the end, light floral rose flavors were noted. The tart hibiscus and cinnamon were too intense, not allowing the fruit flavors to shine. Too much tang(o) and not enough fruit! (5 mins @ 212ºF, ¼ tsp sugar)

This had a nice fruity flavor. It tasted like it had a hint of cinnamon as well.

This tea really is a tango of flavors, dancing together in perfect harmony, creating a fantastically fruity delight. I enjoyed this tea hot, but it'd be amazing ice tea as well.

I enjoy Teavana's bottles of Passion Tango iced tea. This tea is close. When I first opened the bag, it smelled perfect but then quickly I noticed something I couldn't place was overpowering the rest. I steeped a heaping teaspoon of tea in boiling water for a little over 8 minutes which led to a beautiful dark red tea. While hot and unsweetened, the fruit flavor is strong but the cinnamon is noticeable and there is a slight tartness, likely from the hibiscus. I put half that cup in the fridge to cool.

When cool, the flavor was very weak but good, like the Teavana version but watered down quite a lot. I tried to resteep the leaves when I left the first cup to cool. The resteep was an orangish honey color. There was a lovely light cinnamon and possibly lemongrass flavor. All the fruity flavors were in the first steep but that's not surprising. Because of how weak it becomes when cold, I don't think this will be replacing the Teavana tea for me but it's a good cup of tea anyway. Maybe it would be different if sweetened.

UPDATE: When sweetened, the flavor blends but also gets softer. Lightly sweetened seems to be best for this tea since it blends the flavors without dulling them.

I made this hot and iced. I got a lot of cinnamon...more than I was prepared for...so I found it better hot. I was hoping for more fruit in the blend...it was a little disappointing.

I did not taste passion fruit in this, it has more of a fall/astringent taste than I like.

★★★★☆

The fruit and cinnamon in this one make it pretty unique, but not too bold of a flavor. I think I would have hoped it was a little bit more tart, but overall- I have enjoyed this. Please note, water boils at 199 degrees where I am, due to altitude.

Summertime favorite! I ordered this after reading other reviews saying this was similar to Starbucks passion tango tea as both my daughter and I love their passion tango lemonade. Open opening the smell was amazing and I was excited to try this tea. I brewed enough to make 4 cups of tea let it steep then added ice and refrigerated (leaving tea bag in). After it was chilled I mixed it 50/50 with simply lemonade for the most amazing passion tango lemonade tea Ive ever had. The tea alone is amazing iced as well. I highly recommend this

This tea is so delicious! It only has a mild passionfruit flavor, but I love the tropical notes. Very fruity and refreshing! Perfect for ice tea.

★★★★★

Not sure that it tastes too much like passionfruit, but it has a lot of tropical notes! Warning: not safe during pregnancy b/c of the Hibiscus, Lemon Grass, Rose Hips, & Raspberry Leaves.

★★★★☆

It was good tea. Nice notes added into the regular passionfruit taste you would think - hence the tango.

★★★★★

Wow...I really like this one...it is really complicated on the palate. there are hints of fruit as well as flowers at the same time. It is difficult to describe, but I know I want more of this. It may sound funny, but my body almost felt a yearning drinking this. I have a feeling this will become a favorite.

★★★★★

Very refreshing and fruity. I think the passionfruit and lemon flavors are stronger than the mango. This is not a bitter tea at all (no need for sugar).

★★★★★

My new favorite tea. It smells amazing and tastes even better

★★★☆☆

Even though the top ingredient in this blend is hibiscus, I figured it wouldn t be practically the only thing I taste. The passion fruit is miles and miles less prominent here than it is in the flavored black tea. I don t hate it and it s certainly drinkable but it really doesn t make sense to name it after a flavor that s not all that prominent.

The name feels misleading on this one because I don't taste anything I'd identify as passionfruit or mango--it's more of an indistinct fruit flavor and cinnamon. Not at all what I was expecting given the name and description.

Lush aroma. Wonderful balance of sweet and tang.

Smells amazing and a favorite of some of the family but bland to me

★★★☆☆

I did not care for this tea, it was very tart. I added some sugar to try to tone it down, but it did not work. My partner loved it, so they used up the rest of the packet for me and wants to order more. That's saying a lot - because they aren't the biggest tea drinker.

★★★☆☆

Not what I excepted not that much like passion fruit

Loved the flavor and smooth taste, as well as the great aroma. Highly recommend!

This is also another favorite of mine! My brothers wife tried this tea once and she is hooked!

Love the tangy, fruity flavor of this tea. It gets even more flavorful as it cools.

★★★★☆

Bright, fruity, and pleasant. Not too tart or overpowering. Overall, a very tasty tea.

★★★★★

Love this herbal! Definitely not much passion fruit flavor but still good strong fruit and needs no sweetener. Maybe it’s the hibiscus that’s doing most of the work? Not sure but it’s stronger flavored than most herbal teas which I love. And it has just a whisper of cinnamon which surprisingly works here.

This one did not hit the mark for me. I think the cinnamon threw me off. It definitely 'warmed' up the flavor but I don't think it's something I prefer. Was very grateful to try it though.

★★★☆☆

Brewed as cold brew. Was just okay as there was a “bite” to it.

★★★★★

This is my absolute favorite. Lots of fruity flavors with a hint of cinnamon and a tiny bit of tart. I use two scoops for an extra strong flavor.

I like this tea. It is especially for cold evenings

★★★★★

This tea is so very warm and inviting! Nicely fruity, slightly spicy, smells like a pastry (in the bag and brewed). The spices come out more when warm and the fruitiness comes out more when it cools. There is also a slight tartness from the fruit, not a sweetness, which is my preference, I don't really like sweet teas in general. The spices also balance well with the fruit, it's not an overwhelming amount of cinnamon, and it's not a large combination of spices, it's just right. I would recommend trying a sample bag for anyone who likes a spicy and fruity tea, this is the best of both worlds!

It's more my fault than the tea's that I didn't like this. I was surprised to see that I had ordered a sample of this given that I'm not a huge fan of either hibiscus or cinnamon. I cold brewed and it was magically hibiscus cinnamon punch. So, if you like those things, you might like this.

★★★★★

This one is a little fruity for me, but my kids love it.

★★★☆☆

I mixed this with the Dragonwell green tea, in an attempts to make a passionfruit green team. The cinnamon is very overpowering and you don't really taste the passion fruit or mango. It's not bad but the scent/taste is more similar to a cinnamon apple pie.

Meh. The fruit flavor in this and many Adagio teas reminds me of the flavoring they use in hard candy and cheap soda; even though I know it's not artificial flavor, it still tastes kind of fake. It's just not good.

Little too sweet for me. But I've realized I do not like passionfruit much

The cinnamon really ruins the passion fruit. Too spicy. It’s like someone took cinnamon and sprinkled it into my summer martini.

I LOVE everything passionfruit but this didn't do it for me. The hibiscus and cinnamon overwhelmed anything else. That said, if you like those things more than I do, and know it's a lighter passionfruit experience, you may like it!

I like to make this tea iced. It's alright as a hot cuppa.
