Adagio describes this as floral, fruity and fun. They are not wrong. Had this iced as part of the Communitea, and was transported back to childhood when my mom would make fruit punch (from scratch) on hot afternoons. Absolutely delightful!
The flavors of passionfruit and mango sparkle on the tongue, developing even more flavor as it cools.

Fun cup of tea! I always enjoy the unexpected touch of warmth cinnamon brings to a fruit tea.
I love cinnamon in tea in the winter, but I don't find I love it in the summer months. There is also a taste that I am not crazy about. This one is just ok for me.
Wonderful slightly spicy fruit tea. I really enjoyed this one.
Vibrant red color was so pretty in my cup. When I smelled this packet, I regretted not setting it up as a cold brew to enjoy after a long day at work. Spring is in the air today and this would be perfect for cold brew. Cinnamon aromas wafted from the tea, but I really tasted the passion fruit mingling with the hibiscus in my cup. If this makes any sense at all, I noted a rosy finish on the back end of my sips. Quite nice!
Update June 12, 2022: I cold brewed the CommuniTEA packet and really enjoyed the spicy cinnamon notes with the refreshing hibiscus and tropical fruitiness. Sip, sip away!
Puckery hibiscus and passion fruit flavors appear first, followed by unexpected cinnamon. The passion fruit flavoring is very well done, and it paired surprisingly well with cinnamon, but the blend is a bit tart for me. I got major wintery vibes from this one - could be a yummy Christmas nightcap!
With all the fruits in this tea, the last thing I was expecting when I took my first sip of cold brew was to be hit so hard with “Christmas potpourri” vibes. I cold brewed this for about ten hours. It came out a beautiful red and smelled powerfully of floral cinnamon and tasted the same. Disappointed, because individually, I like every flavor in this tea, but apparently the combination is not for me.
I tried the herbal fruit tea cold brew overnight and made an incredible very light and refreshing mild fruity (with a touch of spice) iced tea.
My neighbor (who transported me to the airport hotel) was today’s lucky taster. She has been sick the past few days so wanted to add the caveat that perhaps that impacted her taste buds.
She found the tea to be okay. Not a real strong fruit flavor. Nothing was added to the tea.
Bright and tart fruit flavor with just a little rasp of cinnamon. The hibiscus and cinnamon remind me of Jamaica, but theres more added. Made over ice, took a sip while hot and it was also good. Good mixed with chamomile, spearmint and or a fruity black tea.
CommuniTEA portion:. Cold brewed for 12+ hours. Beautiful deep rose color. I think my portion was heavy in hibiscus and rose because that's most of what a tasted followed some brief cinnamon notes. Not really my thing but a fun adventure.
I’m not sure if it’s the passion fruit, raspberry leaves, or the combo of the two, but this one didn’t float my boat. It’s ok. My packet was heavy on the cinnamon, which was fine with me. Not something I’d order, but glad I got to try it. (200° for 5 minutes)
When I first opened the packet it had a fruity aroma. Upon brewing the aroma added a cinnamon scent. I wanted to love this tea but the tartiness of the hibiscus and cinnamon seemed to cancel out the more fruity flavors I wanted to taste, even with sweetener.
Prepped my Communitea sample by cold brew. The luscious fruit with a tang of hibiscus was fabulous. The cinnamon layered overtop was not to my personal tastes. It made for an interesting blend of flavors but not my jam. For those looking for a fruit tea with a little something different, give this a whirl.
I enjoyed this so much more than I thought I would. I cold brewed for about 6 hours. The cinnamon was the star of this fruity blend. It wasn't too tart , all ingredients blended well together.
Delightful and refreshing! I cold brewed my CommuniTea packet for a few hours, and added a little bit of sugar to sweeten it up.
Fruit, floral, and a little kick of cinnamon. I will be grabbing a bag of this blend for iced tea this summer!
I must have won the hibiscus lottery. My tea was quite tart, maybe a little too tart. I really liked the idea of this tea, and enjoyed the cinnamon addition, but the flavor fell short for me. I should order a bigger sample and try it again.
CommuniTEA 6/12/22: One of my favorite teas iced, so I drank it hot this time. I really enjoyed it. I still love it better iced, but I would have it hot again in the colder months.
212F for 10 minutes
CommuniTEA Sample: Cold brewed this one and really enjoyed it. Not to tart, but some nice fruity flavors with floral notes that are perfect for a warm summer afternoon.
fruity without being tart, floral, and a bit of cinnamon gives it a nice sweetness
I really enjoyed this tea. It was very tropical and I really like hibiscus teas. If you are a fan of hibiscus teas this is a great option.
I will start this by saying I am not a fan of hibiscus, it is very pretty but tart things and I do not agree. I do find the other ingredients fascinating, tropical fruit flavors with cinnamon and lemongrass left me reaching for my cup even though the hibiscus made me want to dump it out. Definitely a tea I enjoyed at the time but would never go out of my way to drink on its own. I am glad to have tried it though.
I brewed this hot with my IngenuiTea maker and forgot I was brewing it. By the time I tasted it the flavors were too strong for my preference so I poured it over ice and I find it to be extremely refreshing on this hot summer afternoon. I added 3 Splenda packets to cut the tartness which is a lot more than I usually feel I need, when I feel I need sweetener. The sour is strong in this blend. I taste citrus and fruit with a touch of cinnamon. Iced it is quite my cuppa tea!
This gets an extra star for nostalgia. When I went to Plymouth rock in Massachusetts I bought a tea very similar to this. They didn't ship so I was very excited when I found the flavors to be similar. Think cinnamon apple flowers for taste, best cold brewed.
This tea is a beautiful color and has a lot of great ingredients. Unfortunately, all I can taste is the cinnamon.
The aroma of today's communiTEA sample was cinnamon apples. I brewed this hot and added ice. It's a fruity blend with hints of cinnamon.
Most super fruity teas, I prefer cold over hot. But not just cold, I prefer cold-brewed. So, I let the tea set in a strainer in a cup of cold water for a while (ended up being about an hour because I got distracted.), then removed the tea and added some ice. While brewing, the strongest scent was an undefinable sweetness buried under a prominent cinnamon scent. It was really alluring, actually, because I happen to love cinnamon quite a bit.
The resulting tea is actually really mild to taste, but it’s scent puts it just over the edge into something a bit… more. If you’ve ever had tazo’s hibiscus passion fruit, it tastes like the afterthought of that, but WAY less sour and aggressive. Or maybe like an extremely watered-down fruit punch, so just the hint of some sort of dark fruit just barely caresses your palate. This was a very, very soft tea and I really liked it. May try for a second cold-brew with the spent leaves just to see how far it can stretch, but it already did quite well for a tiny sample in about 20 oz of water.
There’s a nice, tangy, fruit tango in my cup that smells exciting. It’s a nice iced treat.
Honestly, it tastes like baked apples. I don't get the passionfruit much.
Passionfruit Tango
Recommended Steep: 5-10 minutes @212°F
I steeped for 9 minutes at the recommended temperature in approximately 11 oz of water with 1 tsp of rock/tea sugar.
This tea smelled delicious upon opening, tart and fruity. It smelled wonderful once steeped, as well as upon opening and put me in mind of a tea I first discovered when I lived in Germany. All the ingredients seemed to be present and it was a colorful blend. Once fully steeped, the tea was a lovely, deep reddish-purple.
The flavor was moderate while hot, intensifying as it cooled. I think the hibiscus, lemon grass and mango predominated, with apple, apricots and the rest more to the background. I didn’t taste any rose petals or cinnamon. Lovely blend that I would be happy to drink again. 5 stars.
The tea blend is really a pretty array of herbs and colors. Steeped for 10 minutes at 180°. The liquor is a bright red color and the prominent aroma is cinnamon. Poured the tea over ice and enjoyed every sip! Hibiscus, lemon, rosehip, mango and cinnamon flavors were dancing a tango for sure. I could not taste the mango, rose or apricot flavors. Really tasty and refreshing tea blend .
UPDATED from: 3/30/21 Odd sweet aroma coming from the CommuniTea packet, and it could be passion fruit (which I have never eaten). The tea steeps into a stunningly bright and clear scarlet. Bold, sassy and fun, the ingredients are dancing a tangy tango and what a delight! Adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) allows the sweeter side to hold its own with its tangy partner as they glide side by side into my mouth. No one flavor overpowers the other. A smooth, fresh routine, with the sour zing lingering on my tongue into the finish. Hot, this holds its own with sweets, however this is awesome cold. Alas, one steep only, but it is totally caffeine free! A must have for the summer, it comes in teabags which makes cold steeping very easy! ( 10 min @ 212ºF + sweetener).
A tasty treat iced, I was not expecting to like it. Passionfruit always seems too sour for me, but this was a good fruity flavor and cinnamon balanced it out somehow.
My first review of this tea was rather simple. “I really like this tea. Tango is a good name for it.” While simple I still think it is a good review. This is one of the teas I tried when I was just starting to experiment with tea. I didn’t know what flavors I was or was not picking up on. Sometimes I still don’t. I did know however that I liked this tea. I still do. It is one of my favorites. I love sharing this tea with others because I hope they like it as much as I do. It is a really good tea.
Fun and fruity tea, that leaves my tastebuds dancing. Love the hint of cinnamon, which adds some extra zing. Nicely blended.
Doesn't just taste like passionfruit! Amazing complexity of flavor and good cold brewed.
Rather disappointing compared to Adagio's other fruit herbal teas. It doesn't really taste like passionfruit.
Flavor is a little too strong but is at its best when very hot.
One of my favorite herbal teas. This tastes primarily of hibiscus, but has a nice fruity notes as well. Very bright and great iced.
A sweet, fruity tea, great hot or iced. Easy to make and fun to drink.
This was VERY sweet and all the flavors fought for dominance. I did not enjoy it.
I love this tea! I usually make it into an iced tea but it’s great hot too. Sometimes I add a touch of sugar or honey but it really doesn’t need it.
I was very disappointed in this tea. There was not a lot of aroma when I opened the bag. I brewed it a bit stronger than it says because I like my teas stronger. I got no flavors of passionfruit or mango. I will not buy this one again
this tea is ok. I am not sure but i think it's got too ingredients in the tea. so many different tastes.
This has an interesting fruity start with spiced flavor at the end @adagioteas
A little too sour a bit too much cinnamon. It's not bad but the balance is off.
Maybe I just don't like passionfruit, but I only drank it once before I re-homed it to someone who has a different palate.
This delicious blend is very hibiscus forward with a hint of cinnamon. The after notes are fruity and taste like passionfruit.
This is a strong, fruity cinnamon-y tea. It's called passionfruit tango but I don't know that there's a great amount of passionfruit flavor, it's still a great tea.
