Update 5/4/23 - Sadly I must remove a star from my review. This tasting was filled with hibiscus and the honey I added helped but it was still inferior to the tisane I tasted in the past.
Original review - I’m pleased to get a chance to review this tea. I had a sample sized packet as part of the Fruit Bomb collection and enjoyed it hot in the evenings with just a little sweetener. Today’s CT packet was cold brewed without any additives and it is delicious. It has an unusual fruit flavor and I really like the cinnamon taste as well. High praise for this caffeine free tea, hot or iced!

I cold brewed this one today and I really enjoyed the cinnamon mixed in with the fruit flavors. It had a little tartness to it that seemed to add to the combination that made this one yummy! I added agave as a sweetner. Next time I think I'll try this hot.

UPDATE 5/4/2023: This time around I cold-brewed it in the fridge for about4 hours. When I took my first sip, I was hit hard with the tartness of the hibiscus. I waited to see if it would lessen as it sat, but it didn’t. I don’t put sweeteners in my tea but if I did, I’m sure it would have tamed that down. It’s a tasty tea otherwise. If I have it again, I guess I would make it hot and let it settle, but that’s just me. I’m not a fan of string hibiscus. I’m glad to have had the opportunity to try it again.
I’m a little gun-shy of teas with hibiscus in the blend because I usually find them too tart. I don’t add sweetners to my tea. I brewed this at 180 for 3 minutes, yet my first sip tasted pretty tart. However, as it cooled a bit, the hibiscus calmed down and there was a more pleasant blend of the other flavors. I’m guessing it would make a good iced tea.

A hearty mix of tart and fruity that might've tasted better as a cold brew. When it was hot, the cinnamon, lemongrass, and hibiscus were the most dominant flavours in my CommuniTEA packet. Those flavours didn't much change as it cooled to lukewarm, which was a shame as I was really hoping for more of a mango and peach taste to help intensify that fruity vibe.

A flavorful fruity tea. This is a bit tangy from the hibiscus but the sweet flavors keep it well balanced.

I am... not a fan, when it comes to hibiscus. So when I oversteeped my Communitea sample of this one, I expected to take a sip and dump the rest down the sink. But honestly? There was enough flavor there to round out the hibiscus tartness, even when oversteeped, and I finished the full cup! I won't reach for this one again, but if you don't mind hibiscus, you're likely to LOVE this blend!

For an herbal tea this is very light. When steeped I primarily get hibiscus and tart. When a little sweetener was added the more fruity notes came out which made it more enjoyable.

I might be a fruit
But how passionate am I?
Perhaps just enough.

Not horrible, but lacking flavor. I brewed this hot and cooled it off and drank it cold. Wish I would have let it steep longer to see if it had more flavor. Can taste the passionfruit and cinnamon a little.

Maybe mine was not mixed correctly. Getting a lot of lemon and raspberry...not really passion fruit taste. Nice herbal tea but surprisingly little passion fruit

A fun tea, the name matches up beautifully with this blend. It brewed up deep and red. I let it seep with hot water about 20 minutes. Then poured over ice. I love passionfruit and hibiscus, but what really lingered was the cinnamon and confused my head. While the name held it's promise, I can't say I stayed. I'd love to try this blend without the cinnamon.

I loved this Teavana knock off when it wasn't a knock off, and I still enjoy it iced now. It is the only tea with hibiscus that I will drink gleefully. The hibiscus gets crowded out by all the other delectable ingredients like cinnamon, passionfruit and lemongrass. It is not a tea I would drink warm though. This fruit festival was meant to go over ice!

Out of the package, it smelled like apple pie before it goes into the oven with fresh apples and the spices. After brewing, the lemon flavor was evident (it wasn't out of the package) and added a nice flavor. This would be a great tea with some honey for a sore throat.

I dislike hibiscus and fruit teas in general, so I figured I wouldn't be a fan of this tea. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I didn't mind it--though it's probably not something I would order again. It has a strong fruit flavor, with a nice balance of sweetness and tartness, and though I made it hot, I think it would make a good iced tea. I might steep it slightly less next time so it's not quite as strong--I did around 8 minutes at 100 degrees Celcius.

Fruity floral scent as I opened my CommuniTea packet this morning. Lots of ingredients in this tea, and all appeared to be present. Rating this middle of the road, not because there is anything wrong with the tea itself, it just had too much of a rose petal taste for me. And I don't think passionfruit is my thing. Not one I would order. But someone who enjoys roses in tea and likes passionfruit would probably really love this tea!
5/4/2023 JW: This tea is okay, just not really a mix of flavors that I personally enjoy. That's the great thing about tea...there are so many kinds that everyone can love tea but enjoy different things. :)

In the bag: Plenty of lemongrass, rose hips, and apple pieces. A good deal of cinnamon bark chips as well.
On the nose (pre-steep): Cinnamon is the strongest flavor. Hibiscus is a close second. I can tell other flavors are here but can't identify them.
On the nose (post-steep): As with pre-steep, a blend of cinnamon and hibiscus. Hint of lemongrass. Not intense. Clean nose feel.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Very tart. Hibiscus is the strongest note I can discern, though it's hard to taste past the sour tsunami.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): Sweetener helps to calm the tartness and brings out some cinnamon to provide balance. Still quite sour, though.
Opinion: Nope. It smells pretty good but the taste makes my mouth pucker. I'm not a fan of sour flavors generally, so keep that in mind.
Preparation: First steep 3 min, second steep 6 min. Both @ 195 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

Upon first sip it was very overpowering hibiscus, so I added honey, honey made this kitty purrrrr. The honey brought out notes of cinnamon and a ripe apricot finish very very good. I didn't really pick up on any other flavors but the ones i did were very good. Will re-steep and ice.

First Steep 3g in 8 oz water for 7 minutes
First Sniff: Smells like apple oatmeal again, which has me concerned. But I also smell the rosehips and other subtle notes.
First taste: I’m grateful that the Candy Apple smell did not overwhelm my tongue. The cinnamon is noticable, again not overpowering. The other flavors included are blended too well for me to pick them out individually. Added 1.5t sugar (picking up splenda and stevia soon so as not to keep using soooo much sugar) to satisfy my sweet tooth and it perked my cup right up.
I am enjoying this quite a bit while hot, I imagine it would benefit from being refrigerated. I'm undecided as to whether or not I would purchase this again, but I might, I give 5 stars for teas I know I will buy again, that’s why this is a 4.5

Passionfruit Tango brews up a pretty pink. What I tasted most was the hibiscus and cinnamon, with a little bit of tropical passionfruit mixed in. It’s a little bitter from all the hibiscus, and the cinnamon… it really reminds me more of a jamaica purple style drink. If that’s what you’re looking for, I would suggest brewing this one longer and stronger. If you’re looking for passionfruit, you’ll find some here, but this is not the tea I was expecting. I didn’t like it warm. I added ice, and more sweetener, and it’s better cold, more fruit flavors come out. Except that I’m not a big fan of cold cinnamon.

Hints of cinnamon, with a big passion fruit finish. Great hot or iced. Some honey will smooth it out, but i found it to be enjoyable on its own. My wife's favorite by far.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like the cinnamon with passion fruit. To my surprise it is delicious. I am going to try it cold brewed next time.
Update: I did this cold brewed and like it a lot better.

At first I disliked this one. But by the time of writing this review I ended up loving this tea. Would recommend if you get the passion tango lemonade at Starbucks. This is a better version of that.

I like the fruitiness and strong flavors of the passion, fruit tango tea. The lemon grass stands out nicely, making a very refreshing bright taste. It’s just a nice blend of fruit, lemongrass, and cinnamon. I will definitely purchase this again!

Makes a Delicious Ice Tea in the summer (or year round). I have been experimenting with this tea using different brewing methods, I enjoy brewing it hot, then adding ice to cool it down. Also very good when mixed with a little lemonade.

My husband loves this one. The passionfruit didn't stand out too sharply; rather, it tended to be in proportion to the other flavors. A balanced blend.

This one is good hot or cold--fruity, this has been a good solution to my daughter's love of a passionfruit drink at a certain chain coffee shop. Not the same flavor, but full-bodied and satisfying.

Tastes more like apple/cinnamon rather than passionfruit. Flavor is really complex so you're not sure what you're tasting each time you use it.

This was a pleasant surprise! There is a hint of cinnamon/ginger in this tea, and it makes an EXCELLENT iced tea. It doesn't need to be sweetened, really, but I used some honey and it really made the berries POP!

I've loved the Teavana version of this tea for many years, and I knew i'd compare Adagio's to that first love. I'm thrilled to say it is at least as delicious, with a hint of spice that makes it even more addictive. It's hard to describe, but if you're familiar with the Starbucks passion tango drink, you'll adore this one. Even if you're not a big fan of other fruit teas from Adagio, I'd encourage you to try this one as it really is a standout.

I brew this for iced tea but does do well hot too. The reason this tea works so well is the cinnamon. It really comes through and compliments the sweet and the tang to make a well balanced refreshing tea.

Quite possibly my favorite tea. It tastes exactly like the passion tea from Starbucks, which I wasn't expecting when I got it.

I love this tea! I love that it is fruity but has a dominant, but not too strong, taste of cinnamon. I cold brew it overnight in the refrigerator. I drink it on ice with no added sweeteners. It is delicious and refreshing. Initially, I did sweeten it but I slowly decreased the sweetener until I got a taste for it without.

I cold-brewed this one for about 8 hrs and got such a lovely rosy red color. It was crisp and refreshing with a nice zing from the cinnamon. No tartness from the hibiscus thanks to the cold steep. I didn’t exactly taste passionfruit, but that didn’t bother me with the other fruit flavors filling in. Would definitely drink this again - perfect for a summer or warm spring day.
Update: Tried it hot the second time around and the cinnamon was scrumptious with the fruit flavors. Very warming, but still light enough for a late spring evening.
