I've gotten to be a big mate fan, but the touch of chocolate really tops this one off. Great in the morning or for an afternoon pick-me-up.
Our Brazilian toasted mate with its mellow chicory notes enhanced with the indulgent flavors of chocolate and hazelnut. Contains caffeine.

Yummy! it's got a great combination of tastes and i always want more!
flavor wasn't as strong as I expected but still a nice drink to sip on. might try brewing it next time for a stronger flavor cause it just sounds so yummy.
This was my first time trying a mate. The tea itself was wonderful. I only had an issue with the little teeny tiny pieces falling through the strainer.
I am not sure if i like this one, maybe i am not puting right amount, but this one is a little too strong for me, and i do like strong. Also, can anyone tell me what is Mate... not sure if i have ever had this taste before...?!!! It almost has a coffe like taste...
I was lukewarm on this tea, until I started following the recommendation on the package, steeping it short and cool. Mixed with a bit of vanilla rice milk and stevia, it becomes a real treat!
A great substitute for coffee for coffee lovers (gives energy without the crash). It has a smoky flavor like coffee and the plus side is that you also get hazelnut and chocolate flavors to complete your mocha experience:-) Love this tea!
Delicious! A very nice light chocolatey taste which is nicely enhanced by the mate.
This is the only yerba mate I've ever tried, but like it. It has a light nutty, mocha coffee flavor.Even better with sugar and a splash of almond milk.Great coffee replacement!
This is a pretty good Mate blend. You can read my full-length review here: http://www.teareviewblog.com/?p=16501
Great mate! I drunk it every morning until it was all gone. Great flavor. I have got to buy some more!
This is decent for a mate- I don't get a strong mocha flavor.
A nice Chocolate Nutty flavor. Nice with a little milk but, didn't quite have the amount of caffeine I thought, but perhaps I need to make it stronger next time.
If I'm in the mood for chocolate and tea, I go here. The flavours blend well.
Very nutty and pleasantly tasting tea. Its great if you are looking for something that has a very distinct flavor and smell, but that is not caffeinated
It was a nice change from my morning late. I loved the hazelnut, but prefered the tea with cream and sugar. Gave me a nice morning perk. It was my first time trying mate, and I was not prepared for how fine it was. It ran right out of my metal filter. I'll be ordering some filter bags to use with the rest. I hope they get more in soon since I only ordered a sample and can't wait for more.
The smell of this mate is absolutely wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of flower petals in the mix. A decadent version of mate, for sure.
I liked it but am going to be trying different Mate flavors with my next order. Slightly bitter finish. Not as good as Teavana's 'My Morning Mate'.
good flavor very much like other mate's I've tried. It reminds me of a cookie!
I wasn't certain how I would enjoy chocolate in tea. It turns out the mocha wasn't the prevalent note of this mate blend. The hazelnut really drew me in. It was warming and earthy.
Not the best tea. It tastes better mixed together with cream and vanilla teas it tastes better
After the first mate I had, I was pretty put off. But this was a complete turn around! I think that it was a very nice toasted flavor, but needs more chocolate. Overall, a great breakfast drink!
I really like mate and this one was no different. But, I liked the toasted mate better (personally).
I am a mate fan, this one is not as flavorful as I'd like - I brew it much stronger than recommended, and it's good. I also mix it with black cream, which helps.
This was a wonderfully nutty and rich mate blend. Great for replacing my usual coffee, which I'm currently trying to cut back on. I mixed this with the Rooibos Caramel, and it gave it the perfect extra touch! Without the Caramel added, I could taste the slight smoky flavor inherent in Yerba Mate, but the adding of the Caramel sweetened it enough to hide that aftertaste. Especially good with milk!
Very flavorful! Adding soy milk gives it a nice creaminess with the chocolate.
Different. Mate is usually bitter, but this mocha nut blend was smooth and tasty with lots of flavor. Went well with a chocolate bundt cake.
This will never replace my cup of cocomint green but has a nice flavor.
Nice change of pace for a Mate, nice with a touch of sugar and cream
not like anything I've had before. chocolate chips, hm.
This is okay for when I want an extra boost of caffeine. There's a definite nuttiness, but I'm missing the mocha in this. Best with cream and sweetener.
I love Mate teas. This one is very satisfying. I think that it could use just a bit more chocolate though.
I'm not really familiar with mate tea, so I can't offer a comparative review, but it's an interesting flavor. I'd recommend ordering a sample, at the very least.
Very tasty! I've had other flavored teas and tisanes that I didn't particularly care for, but the mate is a great, coffee-like background for the nutty, chocolatey goodness.
Tea that tastes like a mocha? Sign me up! This is a great way to drink 'coffee' without the caffeine content and bitter taste. Add some whipped cream instead of milk for a super yummy treat!!
If you're new to mate, try the sample size first. This one has a definite hazelnut taste to it, more so than mocha, so don't get this one if you don't like hazelnut. This one was interesting to sample and not bad, but I'd probably prefer an ordinary cup of tea. (If you just like trying new things, though, this one's worth the sample price!)
An interesting flavor. A bit more vegetal than I expected, but nice. The chocolate and hazelnut smell is absolutely amazing, and it tastes pretty good too.
This is exactly the type of drink I have searched for!
a very good morning cup. its much more exciting than normal black tea, and its much tastier than normal mate. its smell is fantastic, and it has the taste to match.
A nice option instead of coffee. I drink mine sweetened with milk.
Very rich and deep in flavor. Not sure what I was expecting but I didnt love this one. Its good but I think a bit heavy for my tastes.
A very nice, smooth tea. I look forward to a cup of this tea. So far it is my favorite of Adagio's teas.
smells fantastic - I'm also a big fan of coffee so the chocolate and hazelnut notes remind me of mochas and is the best of both worlds :)
The aroma of the tea was very nutty, but when brewed, the tea was rather bitter. I probably will not purchase this blend again.
I love this Tea! It doesn't taste artificial as many flavors do, it makes a wonderful pot of tea, not too sweet, but with delicious coco qualities. I even added soymilk and it stood up to the task. The recommended brewing temp apears to be quite important---I brewed it like a black tea first and it was awful. You have to drink it quick for it to be hot enough to really enjoy, but it is well worth it.
Wonderful rich nutty flavor and aroma. I initially bought this in the mate sampler, and it was immediately my favorite. I imagine it would also be excellent for someone trying to wean themselves off coffee.
A terrific mate
I found it a little too bitter, but I generally have a hard time brewing mate correctly. The flavor seems nice, though, if I could brew it properly.
A delicious dessert tea! With a little bit of sugar it has a wonderful sweetness without being overpowering. I really enjoy this tea.
I'm not a fan of roasted mate. It tastes very bitter to me. May just be my tastebuds, but it's not my thing.
