I was not able to tast much mango in this, and it had to be steeped really hot to infuse much.
A tangy, fruity tropical blend. Deep, rosy red cup with a juicy texture and sweet, soft mango finish.

Delicious hot or iced! I like to stagger steep this with a sencha jade clementine tea.
can't taste the mango flavor at all, the hibiscus overpowers everything
Yum in a glass! I'm mainly an ice tea drinker and this makes a lovely glass with a bit of rock sugar :)
I did like this, it just didn't bring anything special or different. It tasted like any other hibiscus and rosehip based herbal. I would drink it if someone gave it to me, but I wouldn't seek it out. (Reviewed thorough communiTea; 5 min @212F)
Like others have said, this is by and large a hibiscus tea moreso than a mango tea. There is very little mango to be found unless you really try to find it.
Today’s CommuniTEA packet smelled plenty fruity! Looking at the contents, this appeared to be half hibiscus, a smattering of rose hips, and several apple pieces with a few mango pieces. I removed at least a third of the hibiscus, knowing that it so often overpowers less prevalent ingredients. Though I added more sweetener than usual, this cup was still fairly tart. It was like a fruit punch with a little bite but only a hint of mango flavor. I believe even less mango would have been detected had I left all the hibiscus in my portion.
It's tart and fruity but I don't get alot of mango flavor from this, as a fruity herbal it's good but calling it mango was a bit disappointing, I missed the mango.
This was more “melange” than mango. I cold-steeped overnight and it turned a lovely pink color, but I mostly tasted apples and hibiscus. Barely a hint of mango, and I felt like I might have been imagining that. Could have been an off sample, but there are plenty of other fruity herbals and mango teas I would choose before this one.
It's a nice, fruity tea; tart with a subtle, but present mango flavor at the end. Good either hot or cold, but I prefer it cold.
The packet opened to reveal a tropical mango or perhaps peachy scent. An herbal steep at 212°F for 7 minutes produced a ruby red tisane.
The first sip was quite tart and the mango was definitely in the background. After adding some rock sugar the tangy hibiscus was tamed down a bit. The sweetener allowed the mango to shine through a bit more.
This one's definitely in the 'zinger' style of tea category. Hibiscus and tartness really take center stage and sugar is almost required to taste any mango or fruity flavors. Overall this one's not bad as hibiscus tisanes go. However, I'm not a huge fan of acidic and tart hibiscus teas. If that's your thing, this one's probably for you. It would probably make a good iced summer tisane, but I didn't try cooling it down that far.
I have been eating a mango every day for the past three weeks. I know mangoes. You, sir, are no mango.
Loved this tea. Great with sweetener. I ordered some and will try it cold brewed. Very lovely, husband loved it too. I usually don't like hibiscus but this was very smooth. Even the 2nd brew was nice. Didn't take much tea to create a very flavorful cup.
Tried as a CommuniTEA sample. I cold brewed this one and it has a lovely fruity flavor. I didn't really taste mango but enjoyed the general fruity flavor.
I enjoyed this tea but unfortunately, for as fruity as it smelled in the packet, it sure didn’t taste fruity in the cup. The tartness of the hibiscus comes through loud and clear but there certainly wasn’t any mango flavor.
This tea is good---IF you aren't expecting a mango flavor. It might be more aptly named Hibiscus Melange or Sangria Melange, because it steeps to a dark red and has a tart fruity flavor. If the mango is there, it is working in the background to soften the hibiscus a little. Even sweetener didn't coax it forward. I steeped my CommuniTEA sample in 8 oz of water untimed, then added a cube of sugar. Very pleasant tea. Just not mango.
Fruity deliciousness!! A tropical delight to excite the senses. I enjoyed every sip, as it took me on a much needed vacation lol ☺️
The mango doesn't get lost in the rest of the tea, and is at its strongest if you open your mouth and inhale so that air passes over your tongue. A very fruity and sweet tea that would be amazing chilled and enjoyed outside!
This tisane makes a terrific iced tea for late afternoon or evening. It tastes like summer in a glass. Enjoying along with the Communitea today
This Communitea was interesting in that I can't say that it tasted like it's title would suggest... mango. Instead, there was a background slightly spicy-ish fruit flavor that rounded out the tartness of hibiscus. Ok warm but delicious chilled.
A wondrous red mystery tea, very tasty and refreshing. I sipped and sipped hoping to meet up with the main mango flavor. The other flavors were front and center. The rose hips and hibiscus made the tea rosy red and imparted a tart taste while the apple pieces lent a nice tang aided by sweet mango behind the scenes. A sweetener add gave the tea a nice boost and it was such an enjoyable sip that the hunt for MIA mango subsided. Chilled, this makes a terrific iced tea with a hint of detectable mango fruitiness. A light salmon colored resteep, weaker in tart flavor, also featured a soft mango taste. It was a whisper but still there.
My Ct packet had 3 g/ 2 tsp of tea and appeared to have all ingredients. There were plenty of rose hips and hibiscus and lots of yellowy white pieces too. The yellowy white apple chunks were hard to distinguish from the same colored mango ones. The dry tea had a wonderful mango scent so a mango flavor was present. I steeped at 212*F for 10 minutes in a 12 oz. mug and resteeped 6 oz. for 20 minutes. I found this tea enjoyable and tasty despite the hunt for a missing main flavor. There was definitely some mango madness in Mango Melange today.
This blend was very very sour, with the hibiscus totally taking over. Cold steeped it’s able to be saved by mixing it with lemonade and simple syrup, but Adagio has so many iced tea blends that it’s just not worth working that hard. I couldn’t taste any mango.
This tea was pretty bland to me. Especially chilled. There just wasn’t anything it to really wow me. It wasn’t dump down the drain bad, just not interesting.
A little light on the mango, but it can go in my blend rotation.
Great tea, sweet fruity taste , nice cup of tea enjoy it.(212@ 5min).🫖☕️
My packet didn't have any mango pieces, but all other ingredients were present. I dislike hibiscus hot so I opted to cold brew. I couldn't pick out any mango flavor, just a lot of tartness
I was a bit disappointed that this tea didn't taste like mango, I only tasted hibiscus. It's a refreshing drink when cold brewed and sweetened.
This color of this tea is gorgeous. I cold brewed and enjoyed it iced. Although is was very good and refreshing, it tasted like hibiscus and no mango.
Maybe the name should be changed to tropical melange. It is a nice blend of tart fruity flavors, but not strong on mango. If you want strong mango flavor this is not the tea for you. Added a touch of honey to bring more fruit forward. Tart cranberry and apple flavors are strongest when warm with maybe a hint of mango in the background. I chilled the last half of my 1st steep and this is when this tea pops. The tartness is subdued a bit and the mango comes forward. Still not strong, but there is a moderate flavor of mango in this fruity melange. I would not buy this to drink warm, but it does make a nice refreshing iced tea and would be good to use in other blends. Steep 212º for 10 mins.
Dry tea mostly smells like rosehips and hibiscus. Once brewed, the resulting cup is a deep red with the same scent. When hot, mostly only hibiscus and rosehip tartness is noted. When warm, the hibiscus and rosehips dominate in the beginning, and fade to a soft sweetness. The sweetness I think was supposed to be the mango, but it doesn't truly taste like mango to my tastebuds, much like the Blue Mango Iced Tea. I enjoy the tartness, but I wish that the mango was stronger. Brewed at 212 for 5 minutes.
Unfortunately I did not enjoy the flavor of this tea. I guess I haven't been very successful in choosing mango teas that are pleasing to my taste buds just yet. But I shall keep tryin!
While this is nice and refreshing iced, I didn't taste any mango. So it was a little disappointing.
Drinking along with the CommuniTEA: Strong stone fruit fragrance from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 5 mins at 212°F, I see a deep ruby hibiscus color and scents. when I take a sip I detect strong tancy hibiscus with a hint of mango. As the tea cools the mango flavors become more present. This actually my least favorite of the Adagio mango scented teas. I prefer the sweeter rooibos version over this strong tangy hibiscus one.
Dry notes: nice mango sweet scent akin to 'wild strawberry's' fruity scent.
Brewed for 10 minutes. Has a beautiful cherry colour. However it mostly tastes of tart hibiscus. It's a smooth cup. I mostly get hibiscus and peach type notes to it. Probably would be great cold brewed.
My CommuniTea packet may have been unbalanced today--I had mostly hibiscus and rose hips with just some fruit pieces. The smell somewhat hinted at mango, but the taste, brewed both hot and cold, was dominated by hibiscus. I don't usually like hibiscus that much, but with some simple syrup I liked this blend. Maybe there was some subtle fruitiness that was tempering the hibiscus, but I couldn't pinpoint the specific flavor. Cold this was quite refreshing.
I like this a lot! I usually get annoyed when herbals are unreasonably tart from hibiscus and/or rose hips, but this works. It is tart, but the mango and apple accents reel it in and help it come together into a really enjoyable tea. This would be amazing iced as an alternative to or fun spin on jamaica.
I feel bad reviewing this tea because it's not even remotely something I'd choose to drink. But it was in my CommuniTEA pack for today, so that's what I'm drinking. It's a very floral tea, strong in rose and hibiscus. Very naturally sweet, almost syrupy. The color is a delightful pink, and to my surprise, I didn't hate it. I would never choose this one to drink on my own, but I'm not dumping it out either. I guess that's a compliment?
I love mango. There's really nothing better than a ripe, juicy mango straight off the tree! And obviously I love tea. But I have now tried multiple mango teas and I've come to accept the fact that I really, really don't like mango tea for some reason.
That said, this mango tisane was the least-worst variation of mango tea I've had so far. That might possibly be because the mango flavor was really light. It was barely there. This mostly tasted like a hibiscus tea with hints of fruit and other flowers. And since I love hibiscus tea, I'm not mad at that! But overall, this isn't a tea I'd ever purchase.
Nice tart and tangy hibiscus tea, but not mango flavored. Would be excellent iced, but not a go-to if you're looking for lots of mango flavor.
This one just tastes like hibiscus to me to be perfectly honest. There may be a faint mango taste trying to make its presence known from the background? Maybe? Maybe. Overall, this was a tart cup that was still yummy, but not really what it is advertised to be, in my opinion. Happy Sipping!
This a fruity flavored tea. I don’t get the mango flavor but a general fruity taste instead. Still a solid tea.
CommuniTEA Sample: A nice, smooth herbal tea. Everything played nice together and it was a very good drink. The mango is not overpowering, but does blend well with the apple and hibiscus. This is one of the first blends with this much hibiscus in it that I am enjoying. I have a second cup cold steeping in the fridge and am sure that one will be good as well.
The ingredients are perfect but my sample quantity small and maybe this caused the flavor to be tangy. I have to admit I was little sad, I was excited about the combination.
Loved this tea. A little bit of tartness, with a beautiful fruit mix of mango and apples blended with rose and hibiscus. I would have added a bit more mango flavour to it just to make it stand out a tiny bit more as there was a lot of hibiscus in my package. Some people have commented hardly no hibiscus or very little mango, so maybe just the way this blend was mixed?
I preface this by saying that the tea is in no way bad, but the name is very misleading. In my blend that i brewed this morning I really noticed none of the mango flavor. The main players in this tea are the abundance of rose hips and hibiscus. Other than that, you get a very light apple note and the faintest whiff of mango at the very end in the form of tart tropical fruitiness.
Like I said, the tea itself is not bad, but a mango tea this is not!
Brewed at 212*F for 7 minutes and lightly sweetened.
This is one of my favorite blends to use in custom teas, and I’ve found it mixes well with just about any base tea leaves or rooibos. This is a sweet and fruity cup, though the taste of mango gets somewhat buried beneath the stronger-tasting elements such as the hibiscus. Look for the mouthfeel of the mango, a rich and buttery smoothness to the drink, and the lingering notes on the finish.
This brews up to a very pretty pink color. It is naturally sweet and a little astringent (thank you, hibiscus). Iced, it is very refreshing on a hot summer day!
This is really a hibiscus tea that just happens to be called mango.
I enjoy the tangy flavor of this tea and it was delicious iced. The hibiscus is front and center with a hint of mango in the background, if you use your imagination. Happy sipping!
Beautiful red tea
With hints of mango for me,
But tarty, tart, tart
